    User Guide

    Introduction
    Over Diver od82o is a free audio plugin for Microsoft Windows, famous
    overdrive stomp emulation.

    Features
    − 64-bit internal processing
    − 16X/8X/no oversampling
    − symmetrical/asymmetrical clipping
    − classic/punchy mode
    − input level adjustment
    − mono/stereo processing
    − 64/32-bit versions

    Minimum system requirements


    − Windows OS (XP or higher)
    − DAW 64/32-bit compatible with VST2 support
    − CPU Intel Core or newer
    − RAM 1 GB
    − Disk Space 5 MB

    Installing
    − 64-bit: put “od82o_x64.dll” to your
    “\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins\” directory
    − 32-bit: put “od82o_x86.dll” to your
    “\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\VstPlugins\” directory
    Frontside controls
    − DRIVE: gives the ability to mix the clean signal with the overdriven (ex.: clean
    signal at 0, mixed clean/overdriven at 50, only overdriven at 100)
    − TONE: controls the amount of lower treble frequencies (1.7 KHz)
    − LEVEL: controls plugin output level (dB)
    − BYPASS BUTTON: gives the ability to enable/disable plugin (Off or On)
    − OPTIONS WINDOW BUTTON (white arrows): shows plugin options window
    (stomp backside)
    − INPUT LEVEL: controls plugin input level (dB), you can set it to default (0) by
    choosing popup menu “Set to default (0)”:

    Hint: Default plugin settings can be set by Ctrl + Left click.


    Backside controls
    − GAIN AMOUNT: controls the amount of plugin gain
    − OVERSAMPLING: sets the oversampling rate (No oversampling or 8X or 16X)
    − MODE: sets the overdrive mode (Classic or Punchy)
    − ASYM: sets the clipping mode (symmetrical clipping clips the positive and
    negative cycle of a waveform evenly (symmetrically), asymmetrical clipping clips
    the waveform unevenly or asymmetrically) (Off or On)
    − STEREO: sets the stereo sound reproduction (Off or On)
    − MAIN WINDOW BUTTON (white arrows): shows plugin main window (stomp
    frontside).

    Hint: Default plugin settings can be set by Ctrl + Left click.

    Troubleshooting
    − in case of plugin crash/incorrect working try to remove plugin from DAW’s signal
    chain and to paste it again
    − it's recommended to choose oversampling rate at low DRIVE value.
