3. The teacher shall report for work every day at 07:40 hrs, breaks off for lunch
at 12:30 hrs
to 13:30 hrs and knocks of at 16:00 hrs on Monday to Friday and 08 hrs to 14:30 hrs
on
4.Reporting for work beyond 08:00 hrs shall result in k20 deduction (Each day
reported late)
5. Absence from duty for three days or more without permission will attract instant
termination of contract.
6. The teacher shall NOT have private lessons with any students formally registered
with
7, Overtime shall be paid to employees who are called to work beyond normal working
hours.
8 The teacher shall teach all classes allocated to them and carry out all tasks
assigned to
them by the supervising officers.
9. The teacher shall support the growth ofthe school by effective teaching and
distribution of
flyers.
10. The teacher shall teach the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics and
Mathematics at IGCSE ‘O’ Levels and A-Levels.
11. A monthly gross salary of Five Thousand kwacha (K3,800) shall be due for
payment on or before 5" of every month. NHIMA and NAPSA is mandatory for each
teacher and shall be subtracted from the teacher’s monthly gross salary.
12. Saturday programs run from 08 hrs to 14:30 hrs and it is mandatory for the
teacher to
teach on saturdays.
13. In a case of resignation. The teacher shall give a one month notice in writting
informing the school about such a resignation. Any departure from the job without a
full one month notice shall result in loss of the current month’s full salary and
other dues.
14. In a case of absence from from work due to sickness or serious bodly injuries,
the teacher
shall inform the school by phone call and strictly provide a doctor signed sick
note/proof of sickness and admission when he/she returns for work. Failure to do so
shall result in 20%
daily deduction from the gross salary.
15. Coming back late from lunch shall consitute displinary actions (First offense:
Verbal
warning. Second offence: Written warning. Third offence: 25% deduction from the
current
month’s salary)
PROFESSIONALISM
1. The teacher shall dress up smartly and modestly monday to Thurday. Fridays are
casual
day and the teacher can wear any smart casual or sports attire.
3. You are encouraged to act and work professioanlly at all times. This is to
mantain a high
standards of your work cthics.
5. You are NOT allowed to chat or stand or tecah in hidden comers of our school
with
female learners.
6. You are encouraged to have proper foot wear: Black/brown/tan shoes not casual
Canivas,
or sandles or slippers.
10. Spend time to plan and suffivciently prepare for your lessons (physical/online)
11. You are expected to report for work and leave work on time
