If the Bal-Con sensor position is changed, the forward or rear position of the bobbin will
change relative to the movable Bal-Con.
Set the movable Bal-Con stop position on the VOS.

the right.
* To tighten the clamp lever, follow the loosening procedure but in reverse order.
* After adjusting the Bal-Con height, set the clamp lever in an upward direction so that it does not interfere
with the adjacent winding unit.

The stop position for the movable Bal-Con may vary depending on the winding unit.
When adjusting the forward or rear position of the bobbin, ensure that the following position
adjustments have been completed: Bal-Con height, bobbin holder position, bobbin angle
and right / left position, and movable Bal-Con stop position. When checking, use empty
bobbins.
1. Set to “Bal-Con Operation Check” on the VOS maintenance screen. (Refer to Chapter 3)
2. After performing the centering operation using the unit operation buttons, set the Bal-Con to the
bottom position.
* If the Bal-Con does not lower to the bottom position, re-adjust the bobbin angle on the ejector. (Refer to
Chapter 4Pb)
3. Ensure that the bobbin and the movable Bal-Con center are aligned.

4. After adjusting the sensor, check again to ensure that the bobbin and the movable Bal-Con center
are aligned.
* Repeat until the bobbin and the movable Bal-Con center are aligned.
* When setting the Bal-Con to the bottom position, ensure that the sensor is turned OFF.

3. Remove all old grease on each part completely.
* Disassemble and clean when necessary
Guide shaft
When old grease congeals, it
increases the resistance on the
sliding screw and nut, causing the
mechanism to wear at a faster rate.
Therefore, clean and remove old
grease.
