Dear Applicant,

Greetings from IIM Kozhikode!

Congratulations, you have been shortlisted for the interview phase of the selection process for admission to IIM Kozhikode’s Post Graduate
Programme (PGP) 2024-26.

Please complete the Personal Data Form (Part B). At the time of registration, you had completed Part A. It is mandatory to complete both
Part A & Part B of the Personal Data Form and produce them together at the time of Interview.

The details regarding your Writing Ability Test (WAT) & Personal Interview (PI) process is given below.

Next Steps

As part of the WAT, the candidates will be writing an essay, which will be followed by the PI.
The entire process will last for a half-day (morning or afternoon). The essay topic will be announced at the venue just before the start
of the WAT session. The topics usually delve into issues pertaining to socio-political, business and economic environment. Essays are
evaluated based on how well the essay is organized, critical thinking, originality, logical flow and command over the English
language.
During the PI process, the panel will evaluate the academic efforts and disposition, general awareness and social disposition, attitude,
personality and communication and the quality of work experience of each candidate.
After the conclusion of WAT and PI process, the final scores will be computed based on the performance in CAT 2023, PI, WAT and
Resume. Category-wise merit list will be prepared based on the final scores. Admission offers will be made to candidates following
the merit list as per the Government of India reservation norms. For more information, please refer to the PGP Admissions Policy and

How Should You Prepare for the WAT & PI Process?

IIM Kozhikode is looking for management leaders of the future. Therefore, give a serious thought to your professional career, how
would you want to shape it and how does IIM Kozhikode’s Post Graduate Programme help you achieve those career goals.
Be aware and curious about the world around you and the best way to achieve that is to start reading anything that interests you from
books, periodicals, newspapers, blogs etc. Reading helps you think critically; it also helps you organize your thoughts and enables
you to articulate those thoughts both verbally and in writing.
Finally, be prepared to defend your academic achievements and your failures. This will help you stay humble, focused and hungry for
more.

Important Things to Remember

1. You have to produce following original documents:

 i. Original Certificates & Mark sheets of all Educational Qualifications starting from 10th standard to the most recent degree.
ii. If you are in the last year or semester of your graduation, kindly submit the certificate form your institution as per the Proforma .
iii. Documents to prove your work experience - experience certificate from the employer/pay slips of all months claimed.Kindly
furnish an experience certificate detailing your date of joining and date of relieving from the relevant organization. If you are
presently engaged with an organization, kindly submit a relevant document from your current employer specifying your date of
joining and the duration of your service until December 31, 2023.
iv. Certificates of professional qualifications (CA/CMA (ICWA)/CS).
v. Certificates of professional certification (CFA - Level 1, 2, 3).
vi. Reservation certificate (in the case of EWS (valid for the year 2023-24)/NC-OBC (issued on or after 1st April 2023)/SC/ST)
issued by competent authority in the prescribed Proforma for Central Educational Institutions (click on the links below for the
relevant Proforma).

vii. Person with Disability (PwD) candidates should submit medical certificate from a District Medical Board/ Authorized Medical
Authority. Certificates issued by private doctors/hospitals will not be considered (click on the link below for the prescribed
Proforma).

viii. Any other relevant certificate which you have mentioned in your CAT Application/Personal Data Form.
ix. Printout (one copy) of the Personal Data Form, which you have filled during the online registration process of IIM Kozhikode.
x. A valid photo-identity card to prove your identity (Passport, Voter’s ID, Aadhar, Driving Licence, etc.).
xi. Bring a printout of this letter for verification.

2. Candidates should bring Ball pen (blue/black) for the WAT. Answer sheets will be provided by us. Electronic devices such as calculator,
mobile phones, iPad, laptop etc. will not be permitted during the WAT & PI process.

3. Any misrepresentation or suppression of information by a candidate at any stage during the admissions process or at any later date, will
lead to immediate disqualification of the candidate from the admissions process of IIM Kozhikode.

4. The call for WAT & PI process does not guarantee selection for admission to the IIM Kozhikode Post Graduate Programme.

5. All communication pertaining to IIM Kozhikode’s Post Graduate Programme admissions will be done only through the admissions
office of IIM Kozhikode.

6. Violation of the above mentioned instructions or use of any unfair means during the process will lead to immediate disqualification of the
candidate from the admissions process of IIM Kozhikode.
