Answer:

Dresden, one of the cities of Germany is an attraction to


artists and tourists because aside from its Regional Floral Exposition
it has a Museum of Art wherein you will be impressed with the
painting of Prometheus Bound, a Greek mythological tragedy.

2.) While in Leitmeritz, whom did Rizal meet? What was his
significance?

Answer:

In Leitmeritz, Rizal met Professor Blumentritt who was


Rizal's loving friend in Germany.

3.) What important places and landmarks in Prauge did Rizal and
Viola visit?

Answer:

Rizal and Viola visited the tomb of Copernicus, the museum


of national history, the bacteriological laboratories, the famous cave
where San Juan Nepomuceno was imprisoned, and the bridge from
which the saint was huried into the river.

4.) What can you say about Vienna, the capital of Austria?

Answer:
Vienna as the capital city of Austria is very beautiful and
famous in songs and story. It has beautiful buildings, religious image
and charm. It also has interesting churches, museum, art galleries,
theaters and parks.

5.) Why is the Danube River in Vienna famous among artists and
tourists?

Answer:

Danube River in Vienna is famous among artists and tourists


because of its beautiful sights. You can observed the different sights
like the barges loaded with products, the flowers, and plants growing
along the river banks, the boats with families living on them, and the
quaint village on the riversides.

ESSAY:

1.) Why did Rizal leave the country for the second time and
parted from his family and his friends?

Answer:

Rizal's novel caused uproar among the Friars. Anonymous


threats against Rizal's life were received by his parents. Feeling
uneasy with the situation, they advised him to go away for his life was
in danger. Governor General Tererro summoned Rizal and advised
him to leave the Philippines for his own good. He was giving Rizal a
chance to escape the fury of the friars wrath.

2.) How did he described Macao in his diary?

Answer:
Rizal described Macao as a small, low and gloomy. There
are many junks, but few steamers, it looks sad and is almost dead-like.

3.) Is there a difference between Chinese culture in the


Philippines and in Hongkong? Why or why not? And how do the
Chinese celebrate their New Year in Hongkong?

Answer:

Yes, because... There's a nosy celebration of Chinese New


Year which lasted from 11th to 13th of February. There were
continuous explosion of firecrackers. You can also observe the
boisterous Chinese theatre, the marathon Luriat party, which was the
longest meal in the world; the Dominican Order which is the richest
religious order in Hongkong and the cemeteries.

4.) Why was Rizal impressed in the city of Tokyo?

Answer:

Rizal impressed in the city of Tokyo because of the great


performances of the Western music which include the classical work
of Strauss. He also wondered how they have assimilated the modern
Europe music to the extent of playing the beautiful masterpieces of
the European composers.

5.) Describe Tokyo as a city and compare it from Manila or in our


Municipality.

Answer:

Tokyo as a city possesses the natural beauty, the cleanliness


and politeness of the people, the picturesque dress, and simple charm
of the Japanese women. There were few thieves and beggars were
rarely seen. Comparing to Manila which is not so clean and the is
polluted because of many vehicles. You can also observe along the
streets the beggars and because poverty some of its people learn to
become thieves.
