The Tale of Peter Rabit

Once upon a time there were four little Rabbits, and their names were
Flopsy,Mopsy,Cotton-tail,and Peter. They lived with their Mother in a hole under a tree.

The mother said: 'Now my dears, We need some bread. I'll go to town to buy some. I'll
be back soon"

Flopsy: "Can we go outside, please!"

Mopsy: "I wanna play and find some foods out side, can I?

Cotton Tail: "Yes mom please!!! We promise not to do sometime danger."

The Mother: Yapps... you may go into the fields or down the lane, but don’t go the
farmer's garden: your Father had an accident there and never come back"

(All they cheer: "horrraaayyy...")

Then Mrs. Rabbit took a basket and her umbrella, and went through the wood to the
baker’s. She bought a loaf of brown bread and five currant buns.

Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cotton-tail, who were good little bunnies, went down the lane to
gather blackberries:

Flopsy: "Look over there, I see a blackberries bush. Let's pick them up and bring our
basket!"

Mopsy and Cotton-tail: "Yammm"

Peter said: "Oh I don't want blackberries, I want to go to the farmer's garden"

He ran straight to the garden. First he ate some lettuces and some French beans, some
radishes; and then, feeling rather sick, he went to look for some parsley.

But round the end of a cucumber frame, The farmer was on his hands and knees planting
out young cabbages, but he jumped up and ran after Peter, waving a rake and calling out,

The Farmer : ‘Stop thief!’

Peter was most dreadfully frightened; he rushed all over the garden, for he had forgotten
the way back to the gate. He lost one of his shoes and the other shoe.
After losing them, he ran on four legs and went faster and he got caught by the large
buttons on his jacket. It was a blue jacket.

But, Peter wriggled out just in time, leaving his jacket and rushed into the tool-shed, and
jumped into a can of water.

The farmer: "Where are you rabbit?"

Presently Peter sneezed. (Haaaaacccuuuu)

The farmer was after him in no time.

Peter tried to find his way straight across the garden, but he became more and more
puzzled. The farmer was tired and returned to work.

Peter climbed upon a wheelbarrow and peeped over. The first thing he saw was the
farmer hoeing onions. He started walking slowly, along a straight walk behind some
black-currant bushes.

The farmer caught sight of him at the corner, but Peter did not care.

The farmer : "stoppp rabbit!!"

Peter slipped underneath the gate, and was safe at last in the wood outside the garden.

Peter never stopped running or looked behind him till he got home. He was so tired that
he flopped down upon the nice soft sand on the floor of the rabbit-hole and shut his eyes.
His mother was busy cooking

The mother said : "Naughty Rabbit!! You lost your jacket and your shoes I am sorry to
say that Peter was not very well during the evening."

Peter : " I'm sorry mom, I'm very tired now"

His mother made some camomile tea; and she gave a dose of it to Peter!

‘One table-spoonful to be taken at bed-time.’

But Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cotton-tail had bread and milk and blackberries for supper.
