    2. A(2 , 6) is reflected with respect to the y-axis to B and B is rotated anticlockwise about the

    (a) Write down the coordinates of B and C. (2 marks)

    (b) The coordinates of D are (6, 2).

    (i) A can be transformed to D by a translation. Describe the possible transformation.

    (ii) A can also be transformed to D by a rotation followed by a reflection. Describe the

    (c) The coordinates of E are (p, q). It is given that CE is a horizontal line and the area of
    ABEC is 28 sq. units.

    3. Mrs. Lee has a garden of length 6x m and width 4x m. She is going to reduce the length and
    width of the garden by 4 m and 2 m respectively as shown.

    (b) It is known that the decrease in the area of the garden is 48 m2.

    (i) Find the value of x. (3 marks)

    She has a budget of $1120. If the marked price of each metre of fencing material is
