    Principle of Design, Fall – 2024

    Teacher: Saleem Raza

    General instruction:

     Read the topic carefully to understand the concept.


     Use Canson sheet for your final project.
     For details and coloring use color markers.
     Your art work must fulfil the requirements.
     You must consider the negative area’s and also create a focal point.
     Mount your art work with a minimum 2 inch of a card sheet frame.
     Make it present able, so treat your art work professionally.
     Make a PDF file for uploading.
     Upload it on Blackboard before the dead line.
     Mention your name and registration ID and date in the bottom right
    small clear hand writing in ink.

    Topic:Draw elements and principle of Design with the help of different line, shape or pattern to
    create an impressive visuals that portray the specific elements or principles. Each element and
    principles should be in the box of 6x6 inches and also mention the specific elements name
    under the box. The visuals should be created & based on your own thoughts. You can choose 3
    elementfrom each category (3 elements, 3 Principles).
    Learning Target:Elements and principles of Design helps to understand the basic principle and laws
    used in design using all these Elements they are able to create their impressive and appealing designs.
    Applying these principles and elements in their specific discipline can helps to perform well and make
    them unique.
    Main Theme:
    Take 5x5 inches on canson sheet for each element and draw your idea in that box. Use color
    marker to draw your art work it should be appealing and impressive. Treat your art work professionally
    and presentable.

    Size of Design: 6x6 inches

    Paper: canson sheets

    Medium: Color markers

    This is an example for you to understand that you have to make a border or framefor your artwork
    using any hard paper sheet, make it presentable.
