    AD-DV DIVERTER VALVE

    The AD-DV Diverter valve diverts cold or warm water


    back through the heat pump until it reaches the set
    temperature. This improves the efficiency and speed of
    the heating cycle.

    TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT
    The AD-DV comes preset at 40 degrees Celsius.
    To adjust temperture use a flat screwdriver. To
    increase the temperature, turn clockwise. To
    decrease temperature turn anticlockwise. Monitor
    HOT
    temperature on the controller. Heat Pumps
    outlet
    typically should not go above 55 degrees C.

    WARNING
    In areas where freezing occurs the AD-DV must be insulated, It
    is also recommended that only qualified plumbers install this
    product. Failure to do so may cause product malfunction.
    Prior to installing the AD-DV, it is CRITICAL that the supply
    lines be completely and properly flushed of all dirt and debris.
    Failure to do so could cause the valve to fail and will void the
    manufacturer’s warranty.

    The AD-DV Diverter valve can also be used in conjunction with Gas
    assisted Solar water heating systems. The valve diverts water to the
    gas geyser to further heat the water until it reaches the set temperature.
