二、英语口语评分标准
1997年11月1日，对美国进行国事访问的领导人在哈佛大学发

Good morning, my name is Liming, I’m 30 years old. I come from Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province.

I graduated from the Chemistry Department of Zhejiang University in July, 2010. During the past five years, I

have been working in an American company and I was the head of Marketing. I’m open-minded, quick in

thought and very fond of sports. In my spare time, I also have broad interests, such as reading books, especially

those about sales and promotion. I have a comparative good command of network application. I set up my own

blog and frequently exchange my viewpoints with others about everything we are interested in. I always

believe that one will easily lag behind unless he keeps on learning. So, if I am given a chance to study in this

university, I will spare no effort to work hard and try to be a successful manager after graduation.

Good afternoon! It is my pleasure to have this opportunity for an interview and I hope I can make a good

performance today. My name is Liming, I am 30 years old and come from Changchun, the capital city of Jilin

Province. I graduated from the computer engineering department of Northeast University in July, 2010, majoring

in computer science. I liked computer very much, especially in multimedia technology, and wanted to make some

achievements in this field. I realized that what I had learned was not enough for this target, it would be great if I

can combine my academic knowledge and management skills, so that is the reason why I choose to further my

study with a master’s degree. In my spare time, I like playing basketball, tennis and traveling. Thank you for

Good morning! My name is Liming, I am 30 years old.
First of all, please allow me to express my appreciation for the opportunity to take part in today’s interview. Then I
will make a brief introduction about myself. I was born in a small village of Shan Dong Province in 1988. When I
was young, my family was very poor, but my parents were always very supportive for what I am interested in. My
mother told me that as long as I keep on learning, I will finally make my dream come true.
In 2006 I was admitted by University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) to study for a bachelor
degree in Economics. My major is accounting. The undergraduate education gave me a wide range of vision and
cultivated my ability to cooperate with others. I developed rich professional skills in Accounting, Finance and
International Trade.
The following nine-year’s working experience offered me a good chance to give full play to my creativity,
intelligence and diligence. From 2010 to 2013, I worked as an assistant in China National Technical Import and
Export Corporation. After 2013, I was employed by China Kingdom Import and Export Corporation to be the
Manager of Financial and Accounting Division.

In my previous job, the most important thing I learned was how to make a plan, organize a team, allocate
resources, implement ideas, and assess outcomes. With this general knowledge, I can improve myself to the most extent.

29. What is your most significant accomplishment? （你最显著的成绩）
My greatest accomplishment was leading a successful curriculum development committee. The president of
the college assigned us the task of restructuring our department’s curriculum and creating new courses that are up-to-
date with new technologies and teaching methods. I was able to successfully break the work down to pieces and assign
the appropriate people to each part of the job. By our deadline, we had restructured the curriculum and added
modern courses that helped put our college on the edge. It was a lot of work, and all of us on the committee felt proud
when it was finished successfully.（我最大的成就是领导了一个成功的课程发展委员会。学院院长分配给我们的

I want to work in a company with good future. I won’t care if it is big or small. I want to combine the

I would like to possess the title of deputy general manager of my company in five years. The main thing right
now is to learn as much as I can in my new position. With my previous experience and my ability to learn quickly, I think

The job I dislike most is to fill out daily report logs. It is routine work. I prefer doing different tasks each day
and approaching new challenges. Of course I know routines are very important covering a great percentage of our daily
work. Therefore, I always do this kind of work as well as I can, regardless of how I feel about it.（我最不喜欢的工作

I feel motivated if I can use my abilities successfully. I believe that everybody has special abilities and talents. I feel
proud when I do my best to apply my abilities to something important. If I am successful at what I am eager to do, I am
especially happy. But even if I did not succeed, or only partially succeed, I am still glad that I at least did my best. （如果我能
成功地运用我的能力，我就会感到有动力。我相信每个人都有特殊的能力和才能。当我尽我所能把我的能力应用到重

34. What kinds of things irritate you on the job? （工作中什么使你气恼？）
I get annoyed when someone spends a lot of time making personal calls while on the job, especially if they talk
loudly on the phone. Of course, personal calls are sometimes inevitable. But people at work should first of all focus on their
tasks instead of disturbing other people who are trying to do their jobs.（当有人在工作中花很多时间打私人电话时，我会
很生气，尤其是当他们在电话上大声说话时。当然，私人电话有时是不可避免的。但是工作中的人首先应该把注意力
集中在他们的任务上，而不是去打扰其他想做他们工作的人。）
35. What is your work style? （工作风格？）
I am people-oriented (task-oriented, time-oriented). That is one reason I chose to become a manager. I just enjoy
being around people---talking with people, helping people. I like spending time with other colleagues. I hope I can be open
to not only praise but also to criticism.（我是以人为本的（任务导向，时间导向）。这就是我选择成为管理者的原因
之一。我只是喜欢和人在一起---和人交谈，帮助人。我喜欢和其他同事在一起。我希望我不仅能接受赞扬，也能

36. What have you learned from your mistakes? （你从错误中学到什么了？）
I have learned a couple of things from my mistakes. One thing I have learned is to take criticism in a positive way.
When I make a mistake and someone points it out to me or offers advice, I should accept their advice and avoid
making the same mistake again.（我从错误中学到了一些东西。我学到的一件事是积极地接受批评。当我犯了一个
错误，有人向我指出或提出建议时，我应该接受他们的建议，避免再次犯同样的错误。）
37. Describe a mistake you made on the job and how you overcame it. （描述一个你工作中犯过的错误）
At my last job I once wrote a detailed report that the Director needed for an important meeting. It took me one
week to complete the report. On the last day, when I completed the report, a computer virus infected my computer and
destroyed the file. I had not made a backup copy.（在我上一份工作中，我曾经写过一份详细的报告，那是主任召开重

宝。（举例子）我最爱的是宝宝，她现在4岁了，正上幼儿园，最近她一直在家里学习
数学。习惯“宽泛-具体-举例子”的思维习惯，不用费力去想下一句话。

二是层次化。如果是问答题，用一个简单的结构层次来组织答案：观点-原因-
举例子-总结。比如：你最喜欢读什么类型的书？（观点）我最喜欢读历史书。（原
因）因为阅读历史能增长个人见识。（举例子）最近我在看记载改革开放历史的书籍，
比如记载邓小平1992年视察深圳的书籍，这些书让我更好地了解深圳这座城市。（总
结）嗯，所以我最喜欢的是历史书。
五、抽题应试技巧
根据往年情况与咨询学校招生老师，学校在准备题目时，有日常生活相关的题目较多，专业性较强的话题较少。
如何填充这2-3分钟？

三是指示性。如果遇到专业性较强的话题，使用Firstly, secondly, thirdly等指示性词汇，让表达更加清晰连贯。

指示性词汇，相当于向考官传递信号：我开始讲第一点了，第一点讲完了、准备讲第二点了。

四是大胆去说。与中文面试不同，口语考察重点不在于考生回答的正确与否，而是能否用英语表达。
