REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE

This chapter includes references and sources for better understanding of the study. In

addition, this chapter includes on the basis of the present undertaking; related literature and

studies conducted related to the field of study.

Programming language

A programming language, according to Technopedia (2020), is a computer language

designed to produce a standard form of commands. These instructions can be translated into

machine-readable code. Similar to how humans communicate, programs are written in

programming languages to control the behavior and output of machines using precise

algorithms.

Hypertext Markup Language

HTML defines the structure of web pages. This structure is insufficient to make a web

page appealing and interactive. So, to make your HTML more appealing and interactive, you'll

use assistive technologies like CSS and JavaScript. HTML defines the structure of web pages.

This structure is insufficient to make a web page appealing and interactive. As a result, you'll

use CSS and JavaScript to make your HTML more visually appealing and interactive,

respectively (Chris, 2021).

Hypertext Preprocessor

PHP is a recursive acronym for "PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor," a programming language used

by web designers to build dynamic web pages. It is frequently pre-installed by default on

Apache web servers with MySQL as part of a "LAMP" configuration. One-line commands and

complex functions are both examples of simple PHP scripts. Most of the webpage content on
some PHP-based websites is generated dynamically using a series of PHP scripts. Prior

versions of PHP did not support classes, which include object properties and methods.

However, PHP3 does. Developers can create unique object libraries and import them into

different PHP pages, just like they would with a compiled language (PHP (Hypertext

Preprocessor) Definition, 2021).

Javascript

JavaScript is a dynamic programming language that can be used for a variety of

projects, including the creation of websites, web applications, games, and more. It makes it

possible to give websites dynamic features that aren't possible with just HTML and CSS. Many

web browsers use JavaScript as a scripting language to carry out dynamic tasks. JavaScript's

effects can be seen, among other things, in click-to-show dropdown menus, the addition of extra

content to pages, and dynamically changing element colors. The only things on the web without

JavaScript would be HTML and CSS. With them alone, only a small number of web page

implementations are feasible. 90% or more of your web pages would be static, and CSS would

only be used for dynamic changes like animations (Megida, 2021).

Bootstrap

Bootstrap is a free and open source front-end development framework for building

websites and web applications. Bootstrap is a collection of rules for template designs that were

created to enable responsive development of mobile-first websites. So Bootstrap, as a

framework, includes all of the fundamentals for responsive web development, so developers

only need to insert code into a predefined grid system. The Bootstrap framework is composed of

Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), CSS, and JavaScript. Web developers who use Bootstrap

can create websites much faster because they don't have to worry about basic commands and

functions. (Zola, 2022).

Cascading Stylesheet

A declarative text language called CSS enables authors and users to add styles (like

typefaces and spacing) to structured documents. CSS makes building and maintaining websites

simpler by separating the presentational style of documents from their content. On computers,

mobile devices, paper, and in speech, HTML and XML documents can be displayed in a variety

of ways using CSS. This format definition places emphasis on how the CSS language is used in

free-standing style sheet files, which are frequently referenced in the headers of HTML files.

Every component and version of the CSS language specification is covered in the explanation.

With separate CSS files, formatting can be shared across multiple HTML pages, which reduces

complexity and repetition. The graphic design of hundreds of documents can be quickly and

easily changed by editing a single connected CSS file rather than changing the markup in each

individual document (Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) File Format, 2018).

E-commerce role in marketing plan

According to (GoodFirms, 2020) E-commerce role in marketing plan goal is to increase

awareness of an online store's product range and brand in order to increase sales. Traditional

marketing strategies can be applied to e-commerce marketing in the digital environment, since it

allows firms to gain from consumers who are willing to buy.

E-commerce in Pandemic

The global pandemic has emphasized the significance of e-commerce. Whereas it used

to be one of many possibilities for making a purchase, e-commerce has now surpassed it as the

primary method of shopping (Romagnoli, 2021). Because many physical retail shops around the

world are either closed owing to lockdown measures or have limited capacity to maintain social
distancing due to the coronavirus crisis, many customers are opting to make their purchases

online (Choudhury, 2020).

Evaluation

The term "evaluation" refers to the process of assessing a program critically. It entails

gathering and analyzing data regarding the activities, characteristics, and effects of a program.

Its goal is to make program evaluations, improve the effectiveness of the program, and/or inform

programming decisions. (M. Zint, n.d). An ongoing or completed project, program, or policy, as

well as its design, implementation, and outcomes, is evaluated in a systematic and objective

manner. The goal is to establish the relevance and achievement of goals, as well as their

efficiency, effectiveness, impact, and long-term viability (www.unodc.org, n.d).

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.

WCAG 2.0 was released in 2008, more than a decade after the World Wide Web

Consortium (W3C) created its first set of Internet accessibility standards based on expert input.

Version 2.0 was designed to completely replace WCAG 1.0, and for good reason. In many

ways, the initial set of standards had become obsolete. WCAG 1.0 does not cover as much

ground as WCAG 2.0 and 2.1. Today's standards, such as the ability to disable all background

audio, did not exist in 1.0. Other principles from version 1.0 are expanded and have a much

broader application in versions 2.0 and 2.1. Notably, 1.0 contains outdated content that can

obstruct rather than help accessibility.

Related Foreign Studies

E-commerce platform for Ghanaian artisan products. The Ghana Arts Centre is a place

where artisans, traders and customers meet to do business. Some traders go and get the

artisan products from the artisans while other artisans bring the products in person to

meet the traders. Presently, customer’s especially foreign visitors, have no choice than to

move physically to the Arts Centre to window shop products before they decide on a purchase

date. This research was conducted using interviews to find out ways in which business at the

Arts Centre could be promoted. The outcome was the Sankofa Store, developed using PHP,

Prestashop, MySQL, and Apache Server. It adds an electronic payment system (debit or

credit card) or payment through Mobile Money, airtel money, TigoCash, etc. It has a delivery

feature; user has to put in a delivery address. This system, if implemented, would give visitors

into the country the option of going or not going to the Arts Centre. Purchases are irrespective of

your location and the price quotes are both in Cedis and Dollars.

In relation to the existing study, the research has a similar premise of using an E-

commerce platform to increase client satisfaction. They also employ the PHP programming

language to create the system, which is comparable to the one used in this study.

Digital market: e-commerce application for farmers. The term digital market means a

platform that is dedicated to integrating farmers, Merchant/Markets, government, and end-users

and thereby bridge the gap between them. It also lets everyone be updated with the changing

market scenario. Indian farmers faced many challenges and one of them is to get a good profit

for the efforts and investment that they had put in. There exist different reasons like season

limitation, crop life due to which farmers get a very limited amount of time to study the market

conditions. The study of flourishing crops and products in the current market under the

agriculture sector is very necessary in order to obtain a good price.

Since it is not feasible to reach all merchants physically for farmers as it consumes much

time and effort wherein our farmers have a limited amount of time. Also traditionally,

methodologies implemented by farmers created limited access to clients (merchants) enabling

fewer options to sell the crop production in the market. So by introducing a new marketing

method wherein a farmer can sell his crop or product at each layer of the marketing chain

(merchants, markets, or directly to end-user) along with multiple options becomes necessary.

Also, there was no transparency from the government's point of view wherein the selling of

crops at the minimum base price was not traceable ultimately, which was not fulfilling the

changing demands.

Thus the platform and modern techniques will help to sell the crops at different layers of

the marketing chain providing multiple options (market, merchant, or end-user) wherein one will

be able to explore and do an analysis of the current market situation with the help of the KNN

algorithm as nearest neighbor search for better decision making and Haversine algorithm for the

purpose of latitude, longitude check using a GPS system to sell or purchase the crops. The

technology used is the mobile-based android application for farmers, users, and merchant

access and web-based java application for providing access to the government along with a

common database system that facilitates storing of data like SQL and PHP for connectivity.

Thus in a nutshell the government can set rules and regulations e.g.:-minimum price for

minimum quality of crop/product (Hamibhav), resolve the launched complaints, handle the

overhead raised prices with the help of system data and load balancing techniques. The system

also provides a complaint box to launch complaints about farmers. The setbacks that the

system faces are about tracking transportation records in a dynamic way.

In accordance with the current study, the proponents also propose a solution in Aldaya

refrigeration and air-con services that eliminates the need for future consumers to waste time

and effort by purchasing a product.

E-commerce system for federal college of forestry consultancy unit, Jos. This project work

was carried out on the design and implementation of an e-commerce website, a case study of

the Federal College of Forestry Consultancy Unit (FEDCOF). The project work is aimed at

providing a virtual market system that will automate the manual system of buying and selling

FEDCOF products within the state. The current processes in FEDCOF are carried out manually

thus causing delays and cancellation of orders as FEDCO could either retrieve the customer

and/or order information. SSDM (Structured System Analysis and Design Methodology) is the

methodology used in the analysis and design stages of the system development. The project

was implemented using Dreamweaver CS6 (HTML, CSS, JQuery, and Javascript) as its front

end and MySQL as the back end, and a careful analysis of the existing system was carried out

in order to identify and correct the problems of the existing system. The deployment and usage

of this new system will help in the reduction of poor record-keeping of daily transactions and

provide a 24/7 online virtual market. Its success and efficiency depend largely on the availability

of internet-enabled devices to the end-users.

The developers employed HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the front-end, and MySQL for

the back-end, in the current study. They had a similar concept for using E-commerce to improve

their current situation.

Online bookstore management system in bata store Nigeria. The main objective of the

project is to create an online book store that allows users to search and purchase a book online

based on title, author and subject. The selected books are displayed in a tabular format and the

user can order their books online through credit card payment. Using this Website the user can

purchase a book online instead of going out to a bookstore and wasting time. There are many

online bookstores like Powell’s, Amazon which were designed using Html. I want to develop a
similar website using .NET, SQL Server. Online Book store is an online web application where

the customer can purchase books online. Through a web browser the customers can search for

a book by its title or author, later can add to the shopping cart and finally purchase using credit

card transaction. The user can login using his account details or new customers can set up an

account very quickly they should give the details of their name, contact number and shipping

address. The user can also give feedback to a book by giving ratings on a score of five. The

books are divided into many categories based on subjects like Software, Database, English,

and Architecture etc. The Online Book Store Website provides customers with online shopping

through a web browser. A customer can create, sign in to his account, and place items into a

shopping cart and purchase using his credit card details. The Administrator will have additional

functionalities when compared to the common user. He can add, delete and update the book

details, book categories, member information and also confirm a placed order. This application

is developed using JSP, HTML 5, AND PHP Programming languages. Waterfall methodology is

used. The Master page, data sets, data grids, user controls are used to develop the Online

Book store.

The developers employed HTML and PHP as programming languages to construct the

E-commerce through a web browser in the current study. Users can also create accounts and

login to their accounts, providing information such as their full names, phone numbers, and

shipping addresses. The system also includes a module that allows users to add their chosen

item to a shopping cart and purchase it.

Sportswear e-commerce mobile application in Ramo Sports. Over the past years, online

commerce has become very popular. In Morocco, the culture of e-commerce is, slowly but

surely, kicking in. More than that, there is a smooth shift to using mobile devices for shopping.

Therefore, “Ramo Sports”, which is a sportswear company located in Tangier, decided to

expand their business to open up to the online market through an e-commerce system. This will
get new clients from all over Morocco to use their system. This project, initially, started in the

Database Systems course with Dr. N. Assem, where a desktop application was developed for

the management of the database. A web application was also developed as an interface for e-

commerce. This capstone project started with the design of a more sophisticated backend,

database with a web application synchronized with the mobile application’s database to be

implemented. Afterwards, the online shopping platform was implemented as a mobile

application. The objective of this project is to have a complete, reliable, and unique e-commerce

system that is expected to be an added value for the company

In relation to the study, the research does have a similar concept of creating an E-

commerce in order to attract new clients. Rapid Application Development Methodology was also

used in this study which is the same methodology that was used in the proposed system.

Restaurant ordering system. This Restaurant Ordering System project is developed to

transform the old and traditional system that is mostly used by restaurants into a new and more

efficient ordering system. The traditional ordering system causes inconvenience to both staff

and customers as it requires a lot of manual work. The manual work done by the staff will cause

some human errors, such as giving the incorrect bill to the customers, the ugly handwriting of

the waiter, or the incorrect sequencing of the order. All these human errors will cause the

customer's dissatisfaction with the restaurant. Therefore, this restaurant ordering system is

designed and developed to help the restaurant have better management. By having this

ordering system, the time of placing an order has been reduced. Customers do not need to wait

to be served when they eat in the restaurant. The customers will be more satisfied with this

ordering system. The methodology that was used to develop this system is called the

"throwaway prototyping methodology." This methodology was chosen because the system will

be developed in a shorter time compared to other methodologies. The throwaway prototyping

methodology also allows the developer to listen to the feedback of the end user and keep on

working on the development to match the requirements of the end user.

This study is pertinent to our study because both the user and admin sides share

features like placing orders, viewing orders, and viewing order details. The administrator can

also modify the order status of the client, and the modification results will be automatically

reflected on the user's dashboard.

T-shirt store using Django Capstone Project. The advancement of technology has changed

how we live and do business. It has significantly changed how businesses are run. Businesses

have started to use various technologies and the internet to more effectively streamline internal

processes and improve business strategies and marketing, especially now that the COVID-19

pandemic has gripped the nation. The finished product, "T-shirt Store in Django," is an online

store where customers can buy t-shirt goods produced in Django. The project's goal is to sever

the current customer-business relationship. People and businesses will find it easier to buy and

sell T-shirts thanks to online retailers. This website will be created using Django, making it user-

friendly. The user interface will be easier to use. SDLC methodology will be used by the

researchers to construct a project. The researcher will test and inspect the app after it has been

created to make sure it functions properly and operates without a hitch. The finished application

will be evaluated by a group of IT experts who will offer suggestions for upcoming upgrades and

improvements.

This study is comparable to our study because it has a feature that displays product

descriptions and prices prior to customers making purchases.

Multi-tenancy Based Food Grocery & E-commerce Builder Platform Capstone

Project. Businesses increasingly use numerous technologies and the internet to efficiently

streamline corporate procedures and improve business plans and marketing. Traditionally,
products are sold and purchased one-on-one. Customers will visit the store to look for products

and manually purchase them, and sellers will have a physical store where they exhibit their

products and goods. With the adoption of an electronic platform, businesses will be able to

expand their retail operations and services. Because of the simplicity with which products may

be obtained through the system, they may reach a large number of individuals. The "Multi-

tenancy Based Food Grocery & E-commerce Builder Platform" capstone project is a platform

where users can easily establish several stores based on different databases and sell food and

grocery items or other e-commerce products. The researchers will use the Software

Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method to build a project. The app will be tested and checked

by the researcher after it has been developed to ensure its functionality and smooth operation.

A panel of IT experts will evaluate the produced application for future enhancements and

improvements.

This study, like ours, has a landing page where customers can view the various kinds of

products they market.

Tiffin ordering system. Tiffin Delivery System facilitates the customers and small scale

homemade food businesses/mess to manage and control their business through online

platforms. Tiffin Delivery System is introduced to overcome the dis-advantages of the traditional

mess food delivery system. This system improves the procedure of taking the order from

customers with the use of technology. The application sets up a food menu online and

customers can easily view this menu online and place the order according to their food choices.

This system also provides the feature on the vendor side that once the order is arrived on the

vendor side from the customer, the vendor can accept or cancel that order as per the resource

availability. For more secure ordering specific and private accounts are maintained for each

user by providing them a unique Users ID and Password which is generated after successfully

registering into the application.

In the context of the present study, it also allows the system to assign a unique identity

to each user in order to identify user identities and minimize database duplication. Similar to the

vendor side of the above mentioned study, they share the same feature where the admin can

accept the pending orders of the customer.

Cake ordering system. The Cake Ordering System (COS) activity is based on ordering and

selling the cake for each customer. Each customer will be given a unique order number. As

soon as this the customer’s name and contact details are added for reference. Next the cake is

selected and stuffing type is also added if required. The user should enter the date of delivery

and also the quantity. A separate bill is produced for the confirmation and the customer can do

any advance payment. During The day of delivery, the customer will be producing the bill of

order. According to it, again a bill is generated for selling purpose and the customer is supposed

to pay the balance amount. All the data is being stored in the database. Admin has the authority

to add cake details, flavor details and rate. And he also has the right to edit and delete those

details to/from the list. Admin provides username and password for each user. At the end of the

day a report is generated to calculate the payment for each user in each day.

In the context of the current study, once a user purchases a product, the system

generates a unique order number automatically. It also allows the administrator to change and

delete specific products.

Malita e-commerce website. Malita E-commerce website is a system that focuses on buying

and selling products online. The system is very important to Malita, Davao Occidental to
enhance the marketing strategy and it gives way to those people who have less time to visit the

market place. The project aimed to design a web-page that enhances marketing through online

advertising, online buying and selling. Designing a web-page that will enable customers to

search products online, view product descriptions and create a web portal where consumers

can purchase and order products. The system flow is the administrator will be the one that

manages the user, manages the system and the maintenance. The vendor will post the product

at the website and the customer will visit the website, view the product and order the product.

Malita, Davao Occidental is currently using the manual method of marketing. The researchers

want to improve the manual process of marketing through online marketing so that the

customers can easily view the products posted by the different suppliers. As a solution, the

researchers develop an E-commerce website where residents of Malita can either sell or buy

products online. The Methodology used was SDLC and the developer used For front-end

development, the developer used WordPress that contains HTML, CSS, JavaScript, plugins,

and themes. WordPress is a free and open-source content management system (CMS) based

on PHP and MySQL. The developer used MySQL as the backend of the system. MySQL is an

open-source RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) and uses structured query

language (SQL). It serves as the data storage that all the information users and products

The proponents of the current study also want to develop an E-commerce site to enable

Aldaya refrigeration and air-conditioning services to sell their products online and make it easier

for prospective clients to shop. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP were also used to create the

system.

Localized e-commerce application for university of the Philippines manila (leap- upm).

Many organizations or individuals at the University of the Philippines Manila (UP Manila) sell

different types of products such as shirts, textbooks, tickets, etc. The only ways in which these

sellers are able to advertise their products are by means of (1) posting some posters of these on
bulletin boards, (2) posting posters of these on social media and (3) direct communication

between the buyer and the seller. Because of this, certain problems are encountered by both

buyers and sellers in terms of convenience, effort, awareness, customer and product

management. Certain web applications have already been designed and implemented but none

of these is localized; that is, for use only within the UP Manila campus. The goal of this project is

to design and implement a localized web-based application which will centralize all product

advertisements, all sellers and all buyers of products within UP Manila. The Methodology used

was Use-case.

This research is relevant to the current study because the proponents' goal is to create

an e-commerce platform to provide convenience to Aldaya refrigeration and air-con service

customers, which is the same goal as in the previous study.

Samahan ng magsasaka Santa Rosa laguna portal. Farming is known to be the oldest

profession in human history and The Philippines is known as an agricultural country, rich with

natural resources. Most people support themselves through agriculture, especially the people

living in rural areas. Rice farmers face challenges in producing quality rice crops due to factors

such as climate change that can alter patterns of tropical storms. They need weather updates

such as wind velocity and humidity to enable them to make decisions. Another challenge for

them is being able to sell their produce directly to the rice millers or the customers in order to

maximize their profit. The objective of the study is to develop a portal for the Samahan ng

Magsasaka Santa Rosa Laguna (SMSRL) and the City of Agriculture (CAO) Office of Santa

Rosa to assist the farmers by providing a fast and easily accessible way of viewing weather

conditions and forecasts and provide a platform where rice farmers can sell their produce and

have direct contact with their customers. The methodology used in this study is the Rapid

Application Methodology since the users of the system are not exposed to modern technology.

It would be a great opportunity for them to check the system at each stage so that the
researchers could build a system that is more suitable for them. Both farmers and the CAO staff

are satisfied with the system since they can store and access up-to-date information and

connect with the customers through the portal. The R.S.S. updates feature addresses the

problem related to bad weather which ruins the quality of their products. Dark Sky API was used

for gathering the weather information. With the help of this feature, it allows the rice farmers to

see if there is an extremity in the weather which will ruin their crops. Integrating an SMS feature

for weather updates will make it better for the farmers.

The previous study, which is related to the current study, intends to establish a system

that offers a platform for rice farmers to sell their products, whereas the current study's purpose

is to develop a system that provides a platform for Aldaya refrigeration and air-con services to

sell their products. The developers also employed the Rapid Application Methodology.

Development of an online laguna agricultural trading center. The purpose of the study is to

develop a system that can be used as an alternative channel to improve the marketability of

farm products of farmers in Laguna. The proponent used two research methodologies. First is

the software development which utilized Agile Software Development. Second is the descriptive

research which involved the determination of the acceptability of the software’s usability both by

the farmers and the consumers. In this phase a combination of qualitative and quantitative

methods was used.

The prior study's expertise, ideas, and parallels are similar to the current study's goal of

developing a system that can be utilized as an alternate channel to promote their products.

Online ordering system for wrinkles balloons and party needs in Bacolod city. Online

Ordering System for Wrinkles Balloons and Party needs aims to develop an online ordering

system for the people of Bacolod City because the business has been accepting reservations
and orders manually. The orders and reservations are only recorded in a logbook to keep track

of the dates of when the reservation will be and the exact date that the items will be picked up

by the customers or to be delivered. The system will provide services and make customer

purchases right away by online banking debit or money transfer. The Methodology used was

SDLC and the developer used PHP as the front-end and MySQL as the back-end because they

run on any platform, are open source, and free to download.

The prior study is relevant to the current study since it likewise intends to develop a

system that allows clients to make immediate purchases via Cash on Delivery. PHP was also

used as the front end by the developers.

Online grocery shopping system for savemore market. The proponents are being

challenged by questioning on what is the better system that we can propose. So we’ve come up

with this online grocery shopping and we choose Save more Market to be our recipient,

because nowadays most of the people are already exposed to computers and online buying.

Save more Market already had some computerized system and the one thing that can add And

with this system it can give benefit to both company and customers. The Online Grocery

Shopping System for Save more Market is made for the company to make their store more

advantageous compared to any other supermarket. The system is composed of modules that;

can calculate the total amount of the orders of the customer with delivery charges. SDLC

Methodology is used to develop the system.

The prior research's relevance to the current study is the creation of a module that

allows clients to simply order and calculate product amount quantities.

Allan Online ordering of brocks burger in Lemery branch. Brocks Burger will be a part of

our research and exploration to the I.T. world by designing a website for Brocks Burger. A

website called Online Ordering Brocks Burger where customers can order online will be a big
help because it will not consume much time or effort. And less energy to be exerted. The

Methodology used for building the website is Waterfall Methodology.

This study is similar to the current one in that it attempts to establish an online ordering

website where clients can conveniently purchase products, which is similar to our system’s goal

to provide an online ordering where their customers can purchase without hassles.

Nana’s Cake and Bakery Mobile App and Web-based System. This study intends to build a

serve their valued customers' convenience, enjoyment, and satisfaction with a fast and timely

service. Nana’s Cake Gallery and Bakery is still using a manual system that makes some

circumstances lost and misplaced important records, which puts the business behind its

competitors. Today’s generation relies on technology such as e-commerce to provide for their

needs. In one way or another, technology makes Nana’s Cake Gallery and Bakery more

competitive than its competitors. Through this technology, Nana’s Cake Gallery and Bakery

have become more productive, have increased in sales, and can cater to a wide range of

customers. Nowadays, online business is becoming more convenient for people. Applying this

technology to Nana's Cake Gallery and Bakery will assure its success and be a quality service

provider to the community. The researchers decided to use the waterfall model because it is the

most widely used process for software engineering. The researchers will gather enough data

through interviews and will complete the requirements of the system.

This study is similar to ours in that it attempts to provide a system that allows businesses

to market the products online and for the consumers to manage their orders, and examine the

entire amount of their orders' bills. They similarly employed PHP to develop their system.

Order management system for Cordora trading and services. The system to be developed

will help the job ordering smoothly and without delay, as well as provide the workers a guide to
organize their job and customers the way to conveniently track the progress of the job. This

system to be created implements less cost, time-efficient, secured and manageable in terms of

accessing information. It also provides inventory of the company, reservations of services, and

commission for the employees. In connection, the system is also the leeway of the workers to

increase the number of customers and productivity as it allows feedback and comments and

also saves time, energy and money on travelling and returning the job for an unsatisfied

customer. The purpose of this system is to provide superior services in the laboratory industry,

serving both hospital and industrial sectors. Our associates are distinguished by their functional

and technical expertise combined with their hands-on experience, thereby ensuring that our

clients receive the most effective and professional service. The Methodology used was Software

Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

The prior study and the current study have a common goal of implementing a system

that is both time efficient and controllable in terms of information availability.

E-commerce System for Innolead Electronics in San Juan Metro Manila. Innolead is a

growing company that sells computer parts and other hardware in San Juan. The store is

located at 218 Barasoain, San Juan, 1500 Metro Manila, on the second floor. Their regular

customers are growing as a result of the high quality and low price of the products they sell. As

a result, they will require an alternative method of selling to those who are unable to access

their shop. Another reason is that some customers prefer to buy items without visiting a physical

store. For example, those who live in other cities and do not have the time to go to their shop

and look for what they require. An online store would be extremely beneficial to them in

numerous ways. The methodology that will be used in this project is use case.

Similar to our study, both studies aim to build an e-commerce system to serve as an

alternative channel to cater the needs of their regular customers as well as those of people who

are unable to visit the store.
