Last night you had a wonderful time celebrating your birthday. Write a letter to a
friend who couldn’t come, describing the evening and suggesting what you could do

about / Do you fancy / I suggest going out for a meal to celebrate ? /.
Dear Emma,
Are you feeling any better now? I missed you last night ☹ Anyway, I’ll tell you what happened.
Imagine, all of our friends showed up, even Peti, after all what HAD happened between Zsófi and him. We were
dancing the whole night.
Anyhow, you’ll be the birthday girl next week,…WON’T YOU…? How do you want to celebrate your birthday? What
about going out for a meal to celebrate ? You’ve always wanted to go to that Indian restaurant, so what do you
think about booking a table there?
Take care,
Tom
