    Dear Teachers,

    I am writing to inform you of my child's absence from school on Friday, May 10th, due to
    illness. My child, Juan Custodio, was unable to attend school on that day as they were
    experiencing symptoms of the flu. As a responsible parent, I deemed it necessary for their
    health and the well-being of their classmates to keep them at home to prevent the spread of
    the illness.

    During the time of their absence, Juan Custodio was under my care and supervision at home.
    They were unable to complete their schoolwork and modules due to the severity of their
    symptoms and the need for rest and recuperation. However, I assure you that [he/she] is
    eager to catch up on any missed assignments and is committed to staying on track with
    their studies.
