THE CONVERGENCE OF SCIENCE AND

MATHEMATICS: A CELEBRATION

The Cawayan Integrated School – Junior High Department


commenced their Science and Math celebration which the
program started this morning at 8:30 AM on October 2, 2024
respectively at their quadrangle that started off with a prayer and
was followed by the singing of the national anthem including the
welcoming remarks of the Science and Mathematics Department
Head – Designate, Regemar R. Lamberte.

The activities and their venues to the grade 7 to grade 10 were


announced that included the following:
SCIENCE QUIZ BEE
ENVIRONMENTAL QUIZ
TECHNO QUIZ
MATHEMATIC WRITTEN AND ORAL QUIZ
DAMATH
POSTER MAKING CONTEST
TRASHION SHOW
All of the activities, except the trashion show, started right
after the opening program ended, while the trashion show started
in the afternoon at 3:30 PM which was the highlight of the day to
witness the creative and innovative works and designs of the
students. As the board of judges were announced, a surprise
guest arrived who was invited by the school whom she was an
alumni and the newly crowned Mutya San Catarman, Miss Shiena
Joy E. Enano.

With the day ending, the winners and runner ups from
various events of different grade levels were called onto the stage
to accept their certificate and also the candidates of the Trashion
show were given their sashes and bouquets of their claimed title.
As a wrap up, the guest speaker, Shiena Joy E. Enano gave a few
words of appreciation and acknowledgement to all of the who
participated and made the event a success
