subject for validation, I need to confirm these details with your managers. Please wait a moment.

verify the employment history of Villamil, who listed your organization as his current employer. Could you please confirm
their dates of employment and position held?" thank you have a great day.
Thank you, for waiting. I have already validated your documents, and the result from your pretest yesterday. I have observed
that you have attained low score, I want to reassure you that your pre-test scores are not a cause for concern. The purpose of
the pre-test is to gauge your current knowledge and identify areas for improvement.
Before we proceed, this is our Training Activity Matrix. This will be our guide in our training activities.
For today, Mister Villamil let us proceed to the Institutional Assessment Area.
VALIDATING RPL
Mister Villamil to validate your RPL, here is a 40-item exam, you have 40 minutes to finish the exam.
Times up! Please pass your paper and let us proceed to the Practical Work Area. Read and study your specific instruction.
I have here a specific instruction for you. you are going to
Perform roughing-in activities, wiring and cabling works for single-phase distribution, power, lighting and auxiliary
systems,
Install electrical protective devices for distribution, power, lighting, auxiliary, lightning protection and grounding systems,
Install wiring devices of floor and wall mounted outlets, lighting fixtures/switches, and auxiliary outlets and the wiring
diagram for this particular circuits. Please wear PPE and ensure the safety. You are given 4 hours for this.
I will be checking your performance during and after this. Do you have any questions, if none, , you may start now.
Times up!.. (rate using the Demonstration Rating Sheet)
Let us proceed to the Institutional Assessment Area. Here are your questions:
Second question,
What size of wire is recommended for 30A breaker based on the PEC?
Last question,
Thank you, Mr. Villamil, for trying your best to answer. According to the result of your written test you got 32 out of 40
items. In your actual demonstration, good job you wear your PPE, you were able to install it properly, however I have
observed that you installed the wrong ampere rating of Circuit Breaker and forgot to put a ground wire but still you had
noticed it and made adjustment immediately. So in this RPL you are competent in 2 unit of competencies and not yet
competent installing protective devices so you need to undergo training of this particular unit of competency.
Here is your Certificate of Achievement and let us plot this to the Progress and Achievement Charts.
4
I will give you this CBLM, Please read and understand information sheet, answer self-check and compare your answers to
the answer key. Do you have any questions, if none, you may start now. I will give you 30 minutes to complete this activity.
You may now start.
Are you done, Time’s up. Let us now proceed to the PRACTICAL WORK AREA, this is your Task Sheet you are going to
install the electrical protective devices, Install wire ways and cable tray, . Install electrical metallic/nonmetallic (PVC
conduit). Given the tools, and materials please complete your activities within 2 hours. Remember to wear your PPE. Time
starts now.
Please take a moment. I have noticed that you are having a hard time in selecting what amperage of protective device you are
going to use in this particular circuit, so in selecting you have to read the ampere rating of the breaker and you have to check
it to PEC, so according to PEC what ampere rating of circuit breaker is for 3.5 mm 2 wire size?, ok that’s correct, its 20
Ampere, ok so this is how you are going to install the circuit breaker so for example if it is a plug-in type so you have to
insert this side first, so kindly repeat, ok so that’s good, so continue installing the necessary safety devices.
INSTITUTIONAL ASSESSMENT
So since you learn your skills so Let us proceed to the INSTITUTIONAL ASSESSMENT AREA for this particular unit of
competency. I want you to answer this written test in 1 hour. Read the instructions carefully. If you don’t have any questions
or clarification, you may start now.
Time’s up, please pass your paper. And let’s go to PRACTICAL WORK AREA. Here is your specific instruction study and
read it carefully. So you will do installing the protective electrical devices. I will give you two hours to perform your task.
Times up!
Please proceed to the INSTITUTIONAL ASSESSMENT AREA for your oral questioning.
Mister Villamil. how are you? That’s great. Here are your questions:
You achieved a perfect score on your written exam, and during your demonstration, you wore your PPE, selected the cb’s
appropriate ampacity and installed the protective devices correctly and answered all the questions correctly, only you forgot
to wear gloves but next time before you start you wear your gloves first so you will not forgot. Based on the data I have
gathered you are qualified and completed the competencies of EIM NC II. Kindly receive your certificate of achievement for
the tasks completed today and please give me a moment to plot this to your progress and achievement chart. So clean as you
go and go back tomorrow.
