‫ﻴﺪة ا َﻤﻘﺒُﻮﻟ ِﺔ ِ َﺴﻴ ِﺪي ا ﺸﻴْ ِﺦ َﺻﺎ ِﻟ ٍﺢ ا َﻌﻔ ِﺮي‬ ‫ﻗ ِﺼ‬

‫ﺖ ِﻠ ُﻤﺘ ِﻘﻴﻨَﺎ‬ ‫ﻴﻨَﺎ *** ﻫﻴﺌ‬1
ِ ‫ﻧ‬ ‫ى‬ ‫د‬
ِ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻬ‬ َ ‫َر‬
ْ َ ُ ْ َ ْ َ ْ َْ ُ َ :ُ
‫; َﻣ ْﻦ ﻗﺎ ْﻮا َر ِﺿﻴﻨَﺎ *** ﺑِﺎ? ِﺒﻴﺐ =ﻮﻻى *ﻤﺪ‬

The garden of the guide, our Prophet * prepared for the pious of us
Everyone who says, ‘We are pleased * with the beloved, my master, Muhammad’
َ ُُ َ َ ْ َُْ ُ:ُ
‫ ِل‬B‫ ٍل َو‬Cَ ‫***ﺟﺎﻫﻪ‬ ‫ﺎل‬
ِ
َ‫ﻜ‬
‫ﻤ‬ ‫ اﻟ‬F‫ﺣﺒﻪ ﻋ‬
ْ َُ ْ َ َ ُْ َ ُُ ْ َ
‫ ُﻌ ْﻮا ا َﻬﺎ ِدي *ﻤﺪ‬H‫ﺎل *** ﺑَﺎ‬
ِ ‫ ا ﺮﺟ‬I‫ﺻﺤﺒﻪ ﺧ‬
His love is the source of perfection * his status is lofty and precious
His companions are the best of men * they pledged allegiance to the guide Muhammad

‫ورا‬ ُ ُ Mَ ‫اد ُه ا ْ َﻤ ْﻮ‬
َ َ َ ‫ ُﺪ‬P‫ا‬
‫ورا *** ز‬ ُ ْ ‫ﺎق‬َ َ ُُْ َ
‫وﺟﻬﻪ ﻓ‬
ْ َُ ْ َ ََْ َ ُ‫ﻜ ْﻮن ﻧ‬ َ ْ َ َ‫ﻗَ ْﺪ ﺑ‬
‫ﷲ *ﻤﺪ‬ ِ ِ ‫ا‬ ‫ﻖ‬ ‫ﻠ‬ ‫ﺧ‬ ‫ﻞ‬ ‫ﺒ‬V *** ‫ا‬‫ﻮر‬ ِ ‫اﻟ‬ Xِ ‫ا‬ ‫ﺪ‬
His face surpassed the full moon * The Patron increased him in happiness
He manifested in existence as a light * before the creation of Allah, was Muhammad
ُْ ٌ َ ُ ُ ْ َ ْ ٌ َ ُ
‫ﻨ ُﻢ‬Y‫ َو‬I‫ﺒﻪ ﻓ ْﺮض َو َﺣﺘ ُﻢ *** ﻣﺪﺣﻪ ﺧ‬: ‫ُﺣ‬
ْ َُ َ ْ َ َ َ َْ َْ َ َْ
‫ﻬﻮي *ﻤﺪ‬H ‫\ي‬ :
ِ ِ *** ‫ﺲ ﻳﺄ ِ] اﻟﻘﻠﺐ ﻫﻢ‬a‫ﻟ‬
Love of him is mandatory and an obligation * praise of him is goodness and benefit
Worry does not come to the heart * of the one falls in love with Muhammad

‫ﺴﻌﺪ‬b ‫ﺪ *** ; ﻣﻦ ﻳﻠﻘﺎه‬c‫ﷲ ا‬ ِ ‫ﺮ ِﻋﻠ ِﻢ ا‬d
ْ َُ َ ْ َ ْ َُ ُ ُ ْ َ
‫ﻌﺸ ْﻖ *ﻤﺪ‬H ‫\ي‬
ِ ِ *** ‫د‬e‫ ا ﻤ‬X‫ﺣﻮﺿﻪ ا ﺼ ِﺎ‬
The ocean of the knowledge of Allah is Ahmad * everyone who meets him is felicitous
His pure cool pond * is for the one passionately in love with Muhammad
َ ْ ُ ‫ ْﻔﺘَ ُﺢ‬Hَ
‫ ِر ْم‬h‫اﻟﻌ َﻮا ِ ْﻢ *** ﺑِﺈِ َﻣﺎمٍ ِﻠ َﻤ‬
َ ‫اﷲ‬

ْ َُ ْ َْ َ ْ َ َ َ
‫ ْﻢ *** ا? ِﺒﻴﺐ =ﻮﻻى *ﻤﺪ‬i‫ﺮ ْﺳ ِﻞ ﺧﺎ‬: ‫ﻴﻊ ا‬ ِ ‫ِ َ ِﻤ‬
Allah opens all the worlds * for the Imam of noble characteristics
For all the messengers the seal * is the beloved, my master Muhammad
َ َ ُ َ ُْ َ ْ َ ُْ َ
‫ﺤﺎﻫﺎ‬ ‫ ﺿ‬Xِ ‫ﷲ َﻃﻪ *** ِﻣﺜﻞ ﺷ ْﻤ ٍﺲ‬ ِ ِ ‫ ﺧﻠ‬I‫ﺧ‬
‫ا‬ ‫ﻖ‬
ْ َُ َ َ ْ: َ
‫ ِﺿﻴَﺎ ٍء ِﻣ ْﻦ *ﻤﺪ‬Xِ *** ‫ﻴَﺎ ﻧ َﺮاﻫﺎ‬no‫ا‬ ِ‫ﻫ ِﺬه‬
The best of the creation of Allah, TaHa * like the sun in its midmorning brightness
This world, we see it * in the light [emanating] from Muhammad

ْ‫ﻮب أَﺑْﻠَﺞ‬ ْ َْ ُُ ُ
ُ ُ‫ﺤﺒ‬ ْ َ
‫ أدﻋﺞ *** ﻧﻮره ا ﻤ‬F
َْ ََْْْ ُ َ ْ َ
ِ ‫ﺤﻞ اﻟﻌﻴﻨ‬u‫أ‬
ْ َُ ّْ َ ْ ُ َ َ ْ ََْ َ َْ ْ ُ َ َْ
‫ﺎن أﻓﻠﺞ *** ﻓﺎق رﺳﻞ ا' *ﻤﺪ‬ ِ ‫أﺷﻨﺐ اﻷﺳﻨ‬
Deep black eyes lined with kuhl * The beloved, his light is bright
Lustrous teeth, well-spaced * surpassing all of the messengers of Allah
َ ْ َ َ ُ َ َ ُُْ َ
‫َﺸﺎﺋِ ْﺮ‬1‫ اﻟ‬M‫ﺎس ﻧﺎﺋِ ْﺮ *** َﺳﻴ ِﺪي َ= ْﻮ‬ ‫وﺟﻬﻪ ﻳﺎ ﻧ‬
ْ َُ ْ ُ ْ
‫اﺳ ُﻤﻪ ا َﻬﺎ ِدي *ﻤﺪ‬ َ ْ ‫ﻮر‬
*** ‫ َﺼﺎﺋِ ْﺮ‬P‫ا‬
ْ ُ
ُ ُ‫ﺧ ُﺮﻧَﺎ ﻧ‬ ‫ذ‬
His face, O people, is luminous * my liege, the master of glad tidings
Our treasure is the light of insight * his name is the Guide, Muhammad

‫اﻟﻌ ِﺎ{ ا ُﻤﻔﻀﻞ *** َو ْﺻﻔﻪ اﻟﻐ ِﺎ{ ا ُﻤﻜﻤﻞ‬
ْ َُ ْ َْ َ ْ َ ْ ْ ََ ْ َ َ ُ ْ َ
‫ ﻗﺪ ﺗ~ل *** ِﻠﺤ ِﺒﻴﺐ =ﻮﻻى *ﻤﺪ‬€‫و• ر‬
His status lofty and most virtuous * His qualities are precious and perfect
The revelation of my Lord would descend * on the beloved, my master, Muhammad
َ ‫اﻟ‚ ْﻔﺮ‬
ُ َ َ َ َ ُُ ْ َ
•‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﻣ‬
ِ ِ ِ‫م‬ ‫ﻼ‬ ‫ﻈ‬ ‫ﻟ‬
ِ *** •‫ا‬ ِ ‫ﻮ‬ …‫ا‬ ‫ﻢ‬ † ‫ﻓﻀﻠﻪ‬
ْ َُ ْ ََْ ْ َ َ ْ َ َ ‫اﺼ‬X
‫ﺎح *** ا‡ﻗﺖ أﻧﻮار *ﻤﺪ‬ ِ ‫ َﻄ‬P‫ا‬
ِ ‫و‬ َ ‫ﺤ‬
َ ‫ﺎرى‬
ِ
His bounty encompasses the horizons * the darkness of disbelief, he effaces
In the deserts and valleys * shines the light of Muhammad
َ َْ ُ َ َْ َ ْ ُ ْ َ
ْ‫ﺨﺮ‬ ‫ﻔ‬i ‫ﻌ ُﻤ ْﺮ *** َو‹ِ ِﻪ اﻷﻳﺎم‬H ‫‡ ُﻋﻪ ِﻠﻜ ْﻮ ِن‬
ْ َُ َ َْ َْ َْ
‫ *ﻤﺪ‬Xِ ٍ‫ﻘ ُﻄ ْﺮ *** ِﻣ ْﻦ ﻏ َﺮام‬H ‫ﻬ َﻮ ُاه‬H ‫دﻣ ُﻊ َﻣ ْﻦ‬
His shariah causes the universe to flourish * and by it the days take pride
The tears of those who have fallen in love flow * out of passion for Muhammad
ْ ََ ٌ ْ َ َ ْ َ ْ َ ْ َْ ُُ ْ ُ
‫ﻴﺐ ﺗ~ل‬Y ‫ﺣﺴﻨﻪ ِﻠﺒﺪ ِر أﺧﺠﻞ *** و‹ِ ِﻪ‬
ْ َُ َ ْ َ ْ ُ َ َُُ
‫•ﻮع اﻟ‚ﻔ ِﺮ †ﻄﻞ *** َﻋ ْﺰ ُم َ= ْﻮﻻ ْى *ﻤﺪ‬ ‫و‬
His beauty puts the full moon to shame * and by him the unseen descends
And all of disbelief is invalidated * from the determination of our master Muhammad
ْ َ َ َْ َ ْ َ ْ َ َ َْ ُ ْ َ ْ َْ
‫ ا ﻤﺎﻋﻪ‬F‫ﺎﻋﻪ *** ِﻠﻨ ِ‘ ﺑ‬ ‫ﺸﻜﻮ ا ﻤﺠ‬b I‫ ِﻌ‬P‫ا‬
ْ َُ َ ْ ُ َْ َ ََْ َ َ َ
‫ﻴ’ ﻳَﺎ *ﻤﺪ‬ِ ِ ‫ﻔ‬ ‫ﺷ‬ ‫ﻦ‬ “ *** ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺎﻋ‬‫ﻔ‬ ‫ﺸ‬ ‫ا‬ M ‫ﻗﺎل ﻳﺎ =ﻮ‬
The camel complained of starvation * to the Prophet in a gathering
He said, ‘O my master, intercede! * Be my intercessor, O Muhammad!’

 ْ”‫ﺒْﺪي َﻣ َﻘ َﺎ‬iُ •َ‫ﻧَﺎدت ا ْ َﻬﺎدي َﻏ َﺰ َا”ْ *** – َ ْﺸﺘ‬
ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ
ْ َُ َ َ ْ ُ ْ َ َ ْ ً َ َ
‫ﻴ˜ ﻳﺎ *ﻤﺪ‬ ِ ‫ﻳﺎ إِﻣﺎﻣﺎ ِﻠﺮﺳﺎ” *** “ﻦ ﺿ ِﻤ‬
The gazelle called to the guide * complaining with clear speech
O Imam of prophecy * be my guarantor O Muhammad
َْ َ َ َ ْ َ ْ َ ْ ْ َ َ َ َْ : َ
‫ﺎﻋﻪ *** اﺟﻌ ِﻞ اﻷ†ﻤﺎل ﻃﺎﻋﻪ‬ ‫ﻴﺎ ﻛﺴ‬no‫ﻫ ِﺬهِ ا‬
ْ َُ َ ْ َََْ ْ َ َ َْ َ َ ْ َ
‫ﺎﻋﻪ *** زورة ا ﻬﺎ ِدي *ﻤﺪ‬ ‫ ﺑِﻀ‬I‫ي ﺧ‬œ ِ ‫واﺷ‬
This dunya is but a moment * make [your] actions obeying him
Trade in the best of goods * visit the guide, Muhammad
ُ َ ْ َ َ َْ َ ُ َ ْ: َ
‫ ُﻄﻮل‬H ‫ َﺲ‬a‫ﻘﺎ ﻟ‬P‫ا‬ ‫ﻴَﺎ ﺗ ُﺰول *** و‬no‫ا‬ ِ‫ﻫ ِﺬه‬
ْ َُ َ َ ْ ُ ُ َُ َ َ ْ َ َ َْ
‫ﻴ’ ﻳﺎ *ﻤﺪ‬ ِ ‫ﻘﻮل *** “ﻦ ﺷ ِﻔ‬H •ِ ‫ﻤ‬H ‫ﻦ ﻣﻦ‬H‫أ‬
This dunya is fleeting * and what remains of it is not long
Where are those who come saying * be my intercessor O Muhammad
ْ ْ ُْ ََ ْ َ ْ ََ َ َ َ َ
‫ﺎر َﻋﺠﻞ‬
ِ
َ‫ﺨﺘ‬ ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ا‬ ‫ة‬‫ر‬ ‫و‬‫ز‬ *** ‫ﻞ‬ ‫ وﺳﻬ‬žb ‫ر‹ﻨﺎ‬
ْ َُ َ ْ ََْ ْ َ َُ َْ
‫ *ﻤﺪ‬Xِ ٍ‫~ل *** ِﻣ ْﻦ ﻏ َﺮام‬ ِ Ÿ‫ﻬ و‬H ‫دﻣﻌﻨﺎ‬
Our Lord, facilitate and make easy * the visit to the chosen one, hasten!
Our tears are falling and flowing * out of passionate love for Muhammad
َ َ ُ َ ْ ‫َر‹ﻨَﺎ َﻫﻴ‬
‫ َر ِ¡ﻴﻘﺎ‬€‫ﻘﺎ *** “ ْﻦ …َﺎ َر‬Ÿ‫ﺊ َﻃ ِﺮ‬
ْ َُ َ ْ ‫ا?َﺒ‬ْ َ َ ً َْ ََ َْ
‫ﻴﺐ َ= ْﻮﻻ ْي *ﻤﺪ‬ ِ *** ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻴﻘ‬ ‫ ﻧﺮى ﺑﺪرا ﺷ ِﻔ‬£
Our Lord, prepare the way * be for us, my Lord, a companion
In order the we see the compassionate full moon * the beloved, my master, Muhammad

‫ﻴﻞ‬¤ِ ‫ و‬€‫•ﻴﻞ *** أﻧﺖ ﻳﺎ ر‬
ِ ‫ﻇﻨﻨﺎ ِ¡ﻴﻚ‬
ْ َ ُ ْ َ ْ َ ْ َْ ُ َ ْ َْ
‫َوا… ِ‘ ﻧِﻌﻢ اﻟﻜ ِﻔﻴﻞ *** ا? ِﺒﻴﺐ =ﻮﻻي *ﻤﺪ‬
Our expectation of You is beauty * You, O my Lord, are the steward [wakeel]
And the Prophet, is the best guarantor * the beloved, my master, Muhammad

َ Ÿَ ‫ﻴﻞ َ§ْ َﻮ ا ﺰ‬
ْ‫ﺎره‬ ْ َ ‫ َﺸ‬1ْ‫ﻨَﺎ ﻳَ ْﺮ ُﺟﻮ اﻟ‬:¨ُ
‫ﺎرهْ *** ﺑِﺎ ﺮ ِﺣ‬ ِ
ْ َُ َ ْ ََُْ ْ َ َ َ ْ َ َ
‫ﺣﺒﺬا ﺗِﻠﻚ ا©ﺠﺎره *** زورة ا ﻬﺎ ِدي *ﻤﺪ‬
All of us, hope for glad tidings * of the journey towards visiting him
How lovely is this trade * visiting the guide, Muhammad
َ ُ َ َ َ َْ َ َ ُ َ ْ َ َ َْ
‫ﺎل‬
ِ ‫ﻦ ﺳﺎدات ا ﺮﺟ‬H‫ﺎل *** أ‬
ِ ‫ﻦ أﺻﺤﺎب ا ﻜﻤ‬H‫أ‬
ْ َُ َ ْ َ َ Iْ ‫اَﻧْﻔ ُﻘﻮا ﻣ ْﻦ َﺧ‬
‫ﻳﻦ َ= ْﻮﻻ ْى *ﻤﺪ‬ ‫ﺎﺻ ِﺪ‬
ِ ‫ﻗ‬ *** ‫ﺎل‬
ِ ِ‫ﻣ‬ ِ ِ
Where are the companions of perfection * where are the masters of men
They spend from the best of wealth * intending my master, Muhammad
: ُ َْ َْ
‫ﻘ ُﻄ ْﺮ َو َ‹ﺎ ِدي *** ¨ َﻤﺎ َﺣﻠﻮا ﺑِ َﻮا ِدي‬H ‫دﻣ ُﻌ ُﻬ ْﻢ‬
ْ َُ َ ْ ُ ْ ‫ﻗَ ْﺼ ُﺪ ُﻫ ْﻢ َﺧ‬
‫ اﻟ ِﻌﺒَﺎ ِد *** ا? َ ِﺒﻴﺐ َ= ْﻮﻻ ْى *ﻤﺪ‬I
Their tears stream and the Bedouin * whenever they descend the valley
Their goal is the best of servants * the beloved, my master, Muhammad

َ ‫ ْﻄﻮي اﻟْﻘ َﻔ‬Hَ ‫ﺒُ ُﻬ ْﻢ‬¤ْ ‫ﺎرا *** َر‬

‫ﺎرا‬ َ ‫ﻦ َﺳ‬c َ ْ ‫ﺎر ﺑﺎ ﺮ‬
َ ‫َﺳ‬
ِ ِ ِ ِ
َ
ْ َُ ْ ْ َ ْ َ َ َ ْ ُ َ ََْ َ
‫ =ﻮﻻي *ﻤﺪ‬F‫ ِﺷ ِﻘ‬C *** ‫ﻨﺎﻫﻢ ِﺟﻬﺎرا‬H‫ورأ‬
They travel with the Most Merciful * their mounts traverse the desert swiftly
We see them clearly * Ardent lovers of my master, Muhammad

‫ﻮا ِدي *** ِﻣﺜﻞ ﺛﻠ ٍﺞ ِﻣﻦ ِودا ِد‬P‫ﻴﻚ ا‬iِ ‫ﺣﺮ ﻫﺎ‬
ْ َُ َ ْ ََُْ َ ْ ُْ َ ْ ُُ ْ
‫ﺔ ا ﻬﺎ ِدي *ﻤﺪ‬c‫ اﻟ ِﻌﺒﺎ ِد *** ر‬I‫ِﺣﺼﻨﻬﻢ ﺧ‬
The heat of the desert brings you * like the ice from love
Their fortress is the best of servants * a mercy, the guide, Muhammad
َ َ ْ ََْ ْ َ َ ْ ُ ْ
‫ﻣ َﻊ َﺣﻼﻻ *** ِﻋﻨ َﺪ َﻣﺎ ﺗﻠ« ا ِﻬﻼﻻ‬o‫ﺐ ا‬ ِ ‫اﺳ‬
‫ﻜ‬
ْ َُ ْ ٌ ُ َ َ َ َْ َ ْ
‫ﻴﺪ ﻗﺪ ﺗﻼﻻ *** ِ¡ﻴ ِﻪ ﻧﻮر ِﻣﻦ *ﻤﺪ‬ ٍ ‫ِﻣﻦ ﺑ ِﻌ‬
Pour forth tears, legitimate! * when you meet the crescent
From afar it shines * in it is a light from Muhammad
َْ ْ ْ َُ ُ ْ َ ُ َ ْ َْ َ
‫ﺒ َﻬ ْﺮ‬H ‫ﻮرﻫﺎ ِﻠ َﻌﻘ ِﻞ‬‫ﻈ َﻬ ْﺮ *** ﻧ‬i ‫اء‬ ¬-‫ﻫ ِﺬهِ ا‬
ْ َُ َ ْ َ َْ َ َ ْ َْ
‫ﻌﺸ ْﻖ *ﻤﺪ‬H ‫ﺎﻫﺎ ®َﺪ ْر *** دﻣ ُﻊ َﻣ ْﻦ‬Ÿَ ‫ِﻋﻨﺪ ُرؤ‬
This Green dome manifests * its light overwhelms the intellect
When it is seen, flow down * the tears of the one who ardently loves Muhammad
ْ َ ْ َْ ُ ُْ َ ْ ُ
‫ﻨَﺎ‬Ÿ‫ﺐ ا? َ ِﺰ‬ ‫ﻔ ِﺮح اﻟﻘﻠ‬i *** ‫ﻴﻨَﺎ‬1ِ ‫َر ْو َﺿﺔ ا َﻬﺎ ِدي ﻧ‬
ْ َُ ْ ْ َ َ َ َ َ ُ َْ
‫ﻨﺎ *** ﺑِﺎ ﺸﻔﺎﻋﻪ ِﻣﻦ *ﻤﺪ‬Ÿ‫وا ﻳﺎ زاﺋِ ِﺮ‬°ِ ±‫أ‬
The Rawda of the guide, our Prophet * the hearts of the sad are gladdened
Glad tidings, O visitors * of the intercession of Muhammad

ْ ْ ±َ‫وﺿ ُﺔ أ‬
ْ°َ1‫ *** ﻗَ ْﺪ َو َﺻﻠْﻨَﺎ ِﻠْ ُﻤ‬° َ ‫َﻫﺬه ا ﺮ‬

ْ َُ َ ْ ُْ َ ْ َُ َ َُْ ُ َْ
‫ﻈ ِﺮ ا ﻬﺎ ِدي *ﻤﺪ‬n‫ﻔﻜﺮ *** وا‬i ‫ﻴﺎ ﻻ‬n‫أ=ﺮ د‬
This Rawda, be of good cheer! * we have arrived to the bringer of glad tidings
The affairs of the dunya, don’t mind * look to the guide Muhammad

‫; ﻣﻦ زار ا ﻤﻘﺎﻣﺎ *** ﻓﺎ… ِ‘ رد ا ﺴ‬
ْ َُ ْ َ ُ ُ َ َ َ َ َ ْ َْ ُ ْ َ
‫وا زوار *ﻤﺪ‬°± *** ‫ﻤﺎﻣﺎ‬i ‫ﻠﻖ‬-‫ﻌ ِﺮف ا‬H
Everyone who visits the maqam * the Prophet returns the greetings
He knows the creation completely * glad tiding O visitors of Muhammad
َ َْ َْ َْ ْ َ َ
‫ﺒﺎ‬³ ‫ﺒﺎ *** دﻣ ُﻌﻨَﺎ ﻗﺪ َﺳﺎل َﺻ‬³ ‫اح ُﺣ‬
ُ ‫اﻻ ْر َو‬ ‫ﻫﺎﻣﺖ‬
ْ َُ ْ َْ َ ْ َ ْ ً ْ ُ ُ َ: ْ َ َ
‫ﻧﺎﻟﺖ ا ﺰوار ﻗﺮ‹ﺎ *** ِﻠﺤ ِﺒﻴﺐ =ﻮﻻى *ﻤﺪ‬
The souls are ecstatic out of love * our tears flow copiously
The visitors receive nearness * to the beloved, my master, Muhammad

‫ﻨَﺎ‬a‫اﺟﺎ َو ُﻣ ِﺒ‬
ً Lَ ِ ‫ﻴﺐ ا ْ ُﻤﺘ ِﻘﻴﻨَﺎ *** َو‬
َ ‫ﻳَﺎ َﺣﺒ‬
ِ
ْ َُ َ ََْ َ َ َ ُ ْ َْ ََ َ
‫ﻨﺎ ﻳﺎ *ﻤﺪ‬a‫ﺎﺳﻢ د ِ†ﻴﻨﺎ *** ﻓﺄﺗ‬ ِ ‫ﻳﺎ أﺑﺎ اﻟﻘ‬
O beloved of the pious * and guiding light and clear proof
O Abu’l Qasim, we’ve been summoned * so we came O Muhammad
َ ََ َْ َ : ُ َ َ ْ
‫َ= ْﺮ َﺣﺒًﺎ ﻳَﺎ ُ=ﺼ َﻄﻔﺎﻧﺎ *** ﺣﺒﻚ اﻟﻐ ِﺎ{ أﺗﺎﻧﺎ‬
ْ َُ َ
‫ﻴﺐ َ= ْﻮﻻ ْي *ﻤﺪ‬ َ ْ‫ﻧَﺎ *** ﻠ‬Cَ ‫ﻣ ْﻦ ﺑَﻌﻴﺪ ﻗَ ْﺪ َد‬
ْ ‫ﺤﺒ‬
ِ ِ ٍ ِ ِ
Welcome O our chosen one * your priceless love has come to us
From afar it has summoned us * to the beloved, my master, Muhammad
َ َْ ْ َ ‫ْ ﻧَ َﺮي َذ‬£َ
َ ‫اك ا َﻤ َﻘ‬
µَ ‫ﺎﻣﺎ *** ِ¡ﻴ ِﻪ ﺑَﺪ ٌر ﻗﺪ – َﺴﺎ‬
ْ َُ ُ َ ‫َواَ ُﺧﻮ ا ﺸ ْﻮق – َ َﺴ‬
‫ *ﻤﺪ‬Xِ ٍ‫ *** ِﻣ ْﻦ ﻫﻴَﺎم‬µ‫ﺎ‬ ِ
That we see that maqam * which in it is the elevated full moon
A the brothers of longing vie with each other * out of passionate love for Muhammad

‫وب‬
ِ ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﻜ‬ ‫اﻟ‬ Xِ ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﺎﺛ‬‫ﻴ‬Yِ ‫و‬ *** ‫ﻮب‬
ِ ‫ِ\ﻧ‬ ‫ﻴﻌﺎ‬ ِ
ْ َُ َ ٌ ُ َ َْ ُ ُْ ً َ‫َو ِﺿﻴ‬
‫ﻮب *** أﻧﺖ ﻧﻮر ﻳﺎ *ﻤﺪ‬ ِ ‫ِﻠﻘﻠ‬ ‫ﺎء‬
O intercessor for sins * and succor in afflictions
And light for the hearts * you are light, O Muhammad

َ ْ‫ﻴﻢ *** أَﻧ‬

ٌ‫ﻢ‬Ÿ‫ﺖ ِﻣ ْﻔ َﻀ ٌﺎل َﻛﺮ‬ ُ ‫ﻚ ا َﻤ ْﺮ ُﺟﻮ َﻋ ِﻈ‬ َ ُ َ
‫ﺟﺎﻫ‬
ِ
ْ َُ ُ َ
‫ﻴﻢ *** َو†ﻔ ¶ﻮ ﻳَﺎ *ﻤﺪ‬ ُ ‫َو َر ُء ْو ٌف َو َر ِﺣ‬

You expected rank is magnificent * you are the pre-eminent, generous

And kind and merciful * and pardoning, O Muhammad

ْ‫ﻢ‬iُ ‫ﺘُ ْﻢ *** َر ْو َﺿ َﺔ ا َﻬﺎدي َو ُز ْر‬Hْ َ‫وا ﻳَﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ َرأ‬°

ُ َْ
ِ ِ ±‫أ‬
ْ َُ َ ْ ُْ َ ‫ﻋﻨْ َﺪ َرب‬
‫ﻦ َ= ْﻮﻻ ْى *ﻤﺪ‬Ÿ‫اﻟﻌ ْﺮ ِش ﻛﻨﺘُ ْﻢ *** َزاﺋِ ِﺮ‬ ِ
Glad tidings O those who see * the Rawda of the guide, and visit
In the sight of the Lord of the Throne you are * visitors of my master, Muhammad
َ َ ْ ْ ُ َ ََ َ َ َ
ْ‫ﺎده‬ ‫“ﻢ ِﻠ ِﻌﺒ‬C‫ ا ﺴ َﻌﺎدهْ *** ود‬M‫ﻗﺪ َر ا َﻤ ْﻮ‬
ْ َُ ُ َ َ
‫ﺎدهْ *** َز ْو َرة ا َﻬﺎ ِدي *ﻤﺪ‬Ÿَ ‫ﻫ ِﺬهِ ا? ُ ْﺴ َ¸ ِز‬
The Master has destined felicity * and called you to His worship
This beauty is an increase * the visit to the guide, Muhammad

‫ﻮر‬ ُ ُ‫ ْﻌﻠ‬Hَ ‫‚ ْﻢ‬

ُ ُ‫ﻮه ﻧ‬ ُ ُْ َ
‫وروا *** وﺟﻬ‬ ُ ‫“ ْﻢ ﻳﺎ َﻣ ْﻦ ﺗَ ُﺰ‬ُ ُ ْ َ
‫ﺳﻌﺪ‬
ْ َُ ْ َ ْ َ
‫ار *ﻤﺪ‬ ‫\ي ﻗﺪ ز‬ ُ ‫ ُﻔ‬Yَ ‫‚ ْﻢ َر ¶ب‬
ِ ِ *** ‫ﻮر‬
ُ :َ
‹‫ر‬
Your fortune, O you who visit * light will cover your faces
Your Lord, the Lord of forgiveness * for the one who visits Muhammad

َ‫اﻟﻘﺎﻋﺪﻳﻨﺎ‬ َ َ َ ََْ َْ
ِ ِ ‫ﻨﺎ‬H‫ﻨﺎ ا ﻮاﻗِ ِﻔﻴﻨﺎ *** ﻮ رأ‬H‫ﻮ رأ‬
ْ َُ ْ ْ َ َ َ َ ََْ َْ
‫ﻨﺎ ا ﺴﺎﺋِ ِﻠﻴﻨﺎ *** ا ﺸﻔﺎﻋﻪ ِﻣﻦ *ﻤﺪ‬H‫ﻮ رأ‬
If only we saw those standing * If only we saw those sitting
If only we saw those asking * Intercession from Muhammad

¹‫ﺘ‬H ‫ﷲ‬ ‫ا‬ ُ َ‫ﺘ‬¤‫ *** َو‬¹َ ْºُ ‫َﻠْﻖ‬-‫ ا‬Iْ ‫ﻧُ ْﻮ ُر َﺧ‬
‫ﺎب‬
ِ ِ ِ ِ
ْ َُ ْ َْ َ َ ْ َ ُ ْ ُ
‫ ْﻤ( *** ِﻋﻨﺪ =ﻮﻻى *ﻤﺪ‬i ‫ ِع‬° ‫َو ُﻋﻠ ْﻮ ُم ا‬
The light of the best of creation is manifest * and the Book of Allah is recited
And the sciences of the Shariah are dictated * near my master, Muhammad
ْ ََ َْ َ ْ َ ُ ْ َ ْ َ ْ ْ
‫وا أﻫﻞ ا ﻤﻼﻣﻪ‬eِ ‫إِن َر َﺟﻌﺘُ ْﻢ ﺑِﺎ ﺴﻼ َﻣﻪ *** أﺧ‬
ْ َُ َ ْ ‫ﺤﺒ‬
‫ﻴﺐ َ= ْﻮﻻ ْي *ﻤﺪ‬ َ ‫ﻴﺌُﻮا ﻣ ْﻦ ﺗ َﻬ‬ºَ ْ£َ
َ ْ‫ﺎﻣ ْﻪ *** ﻠ‬
ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ
If you return with safety * inform the people of blame
So that they come from Tihama * to the beloved, my master Muhammad
ُ ُ ْ َ
َِ‫وﻫ ْﻢ ﺑﺎ ْ ُﻬﻴﺎم‬ َ َْ ْ ُ ُْ َ
ِ eِ ‫ﺧ‬ ‫أ‬ *** ِ‫ﺎم‬ ‫ﻘ‬ ‫ﻋﺮﻓﻮﻫﻢ ﺑِﺎ ﻤ‬
ْ َ ُ ُ َُ َْ َ َ ْ ْ ُ ْ ُ َْ
‫ ﻳﺰوروا ِﻤﺤﻤﺪ‬£ *** ِ‫أﻳ ِﻘﻈﻮﻫﻢ ِﻣﻦ ﻣﻨﺎم‬
Acquaint them with the maqam * inform them with passion
Awaken them from their sleep * that they go visit Muhammad
ْ ََ ْ ُ َْ َ َ ْ َ َ َ ْ ُْ َ َْ
‫ﺎزل‬
ِ ‫ ا ﻤﻨ‬Xِ ‫ﻮ ﻋ ِﻠﻤﺘﻢ ﻳﺎ ﻋﻮا ِذل *** ﻣﺎ ﺳﻜﻨﺘﻢ‬
ْ َُ ْ َ :ُ ْ َ َْ َ…َ ‫َﻣﺎ‬
‫ﻬ َﻮى *ﻤﺪ‬H ‫ﺐ ﺷﺎ ِﻏﻞ *** ¨ﻨَﺎ‬ ِ ‫ﻠ‬ ‫اﻟﻘ‬ Xِ ‫ﺎ‬
If you knew, O critic * you would not have stayed in your homes
Nothing occupies our heart * all of us are head over heels in love with Muhammad

 َ َ ْ ‫ ا‬Iْ ‫ﻨَﺎ ﺑﺎ ْ َﻤ َﻄﺎﻳَﺎ *** ِﻠﻨ‘ َﺧ‬Ÿْ L
َ‫اﻳﺎ‬e َ َ ‫ﻗَ ْﺪ‬
ِ ِ ِ
ْ َُ ْ َ ْ َ ْ َ ْ َ َ َ ْ َْ َ
‫~ اﻟﻌﻄﺎﻳﺎ *** ا? ِﺒﻴﺐ =ﻮﻻي *ﻤﺪ‬ ِ ‫ﺳﻴ ِﺪي ﻛ‬
We have travelled by [various] conveyances * to the Prophet, the best of creation
My leader, the treasure store of gifts * the beloved, my master, Muhammad
: ُ ُ َْ
َ ُ‫ا»ﻧ‬
‫ﻮ‹ﺎ‬ َ ُ‫ﺒ ُﻪ ُ½ْ¼ اﻟْ ُﻘﻠ‬: ‫ُﺣ‬
'‫ﻐ ِﻔﺮ ا‬H *** ‫ﻮ‹ﺎ‬ ِ
ْ َُ َ ْ
ْ ‫ﻮ‹ﺎ *** ﺑﺎ?َﺒ‬ ْ ُ ُ ‫ َ ْﺴ‬b
‫ﻴﺐ َ= ْﻮﻻ ْي *ﻤﺪ‬ ِ ِ
َ ُ‫ﻟﻌﻴ‬ ُ ‫ا' ا‬ُ œ

His love gives life to the hearts * Allah forgives sins

Allah veils all faults * by means of the beloved, my master, Muhammad
َ َ ¾ ُ ََْ َ َ َُ َ
‫ﷲ ﻧﺎ ِد *** أﻫﻞ ﺣﺐ و ِودا ِد‬
ِ ‫ا‬ ‫ﻮل‬‫ﻳﺎ رﺳ‬
ْ َُ ْ َ ْ َ ْ ُ ُ ْ ُ َ ُ
‫ ﺑِ َﻌﺎ ِد *** أد†ﻬﻢ =ﻮﻻي *ﻤﺪ‬Xِ ‫ِﺸ ْﻮ ٍق‬± ‫ﻫ ْﻢ‬
O Messenger of Allah, call * the people of love and affection
Those who yearn from afar * invite them, my master, Muhammad

ْ َaُ‫‹ﻨَﺎ ا ُﻤ ْﻌﻄﻲ ﻳ‬: ‫َوﺗَ َﻮﺟ ْﻪ ِﻠْ ُﻤ َﻘﺪ ْر *** َر‬

ْ َُ َ ْ َ ْ ُ َ ْ ُ َ َْ
‫ﻴﺐ َ= ْﻮﻻ ْى *ﻤﺪ‬‫ﺒَﺪ ْر *** ِﻠﺤ ِﺒ‬n ْ£ ž
ٍ ‫ﻌﺪ ﻋ‬À
Direct yourself to the Determiner * Our Lord, the Giver, the One Who facilitates
After difficulty, in order that we hasten * to the beloved, my master, Muhammad
ٌ َ ٌ ٌ ٌ َ
‫َﺻﻠ َﻮات َﻃﻴﺒَﺎت *** َزا ِﻛﻴَﺎت ﻧﺎ ِﻣﻴَﺎت‬
ْ َُ َ ْ ‫ﺤﺒ‬
‫ﻴﺐ َ= ْﻮﻻ ْي *ﻤﺪ‬ َ ْ‫ﺎت *** ﻠ‬
ٌ َ َ ٌ َ َ
‫ﺎت داﺋِﻤ‬Áِ B
ِ ِ
Fragrant blessings * pure and abounding
Precious and everlasting * on the beloved, my master, Muhammad

‫ى *** †ﻄﺮ ا ﻜﻮن و =ﺮا‬œ‫ﷲ ﻳ‬ ِ ‫وﺳﻼم ا‬

‫ا *** ِﻠﺤ ِﺒﻴﺐ =ﻮﻻى *ﻤﺪ‬Lَ ‫‡ َح ا ﺼﺪ َر َو‬
And the peace of Allah quenches * and it fragrances the universe through out
Expanding the hearts and gladdening * for the beloved, my master, Muhammad
ْ َ َ َ ْ ُ ْ ََ ْ ْ ََ َ
‫ ِ=ﻞ‬C‫ﺎل و‬
ٍ ‫ﺎﺿﻞ *** ; ِﻣﻔﻀ‬ ِ ‫ﺐ اﻷﻓ‬ِ ‫ﺤ‬ ‫ﺼ‬ ‫ا‬ + ‫و‬
ْ َُ ُ َ ََ ْ َ َ‫ﺑ‚ﺘ‬
‫ﺬا آل *ﻤﺪ‬¤‫ﷲ ﻗﺎﺋِﻞ *** و‬
ِ ‫ﺎب ا‬ِ ِ ِ
And on his companions, the most virtuous * each are pre-eminent and whose actions
And speech are in accordance with the Book of Allah * and likewise the family of
Muhammad

‫ﺐ‬
ْ َ َ َْ َ َ ‫ُ†ﻢ ﺑﺎ ﺮ ْﺿ َﻮ‬
ِ ‫ﻳﻖ وﺻﺤ‬ ٍ ‫ ِﺻﺪ‬I‫ *** ﺧ‬€‫ان ر‬ ِ ِ
ْ َُ ُ َ ُ ُ َْ َ ََ
‫ﺎروق ِﺣ‘ *** َﺳﻜﻨَﺎ ﻗ ْﺮ َب *ﻤﺪ‬ ‫ﺬا اﻟﻔ‬¤‫و‬
My Lord encompasses with His good pleasure * the best of the truthful and companions1
And likewise the just2, my beloved * they reside3 near Muhammad

‘‫ ِﺣ‬F
ْ َْ
‫ﻄ‬ ‫ﺒ‬‫ﺴ‬ ‫ا‬ ‫ﺎ‬َ ‫ﺑ‬ ‫أ‬‫و‬َ *** €‫ﻦ َر‬Ÿْ ‫ﻮر‬ : ‫ُ†ﻢ َذا‬
َ …‫ا‬
ِ ِ
ْ َ ُ ًْ َ ُ ْ َْ ُ
‫ﺤﻤﺪ‬ ‫ﻢ ﺻﺤﺒﺎ ِﻤ‬Ã *** €‫ َر‬F ِ ‫ﻢ ِﻠﻌﻤ‬Ã
Extend the blessing on the possessor of two lights4, O my Lord * and the father5 of the two
grandchildren, my beloved
Then for the two uncles6, my Lord * then the companions of Muhammad

‘‫ﻠ ِﻖ ِﻃ‬-‫ ا‬Iِ ‫ﺧ‬ ‫آل‬

ْ َُ
‫ *ﻤﺪ‬Xِ ‫ﺎل‬ َ ‫ﻨْ‘ *** َ† ْﻦ َﻛ‬iُ ‫اء‬
‫ﻤ‬ ُ ‫ َﺬا ا ﺰ ْﻫ َﺮ‬¤َ ‫َو‬
ٍ ِ
Extended to the two grandchildren7, my Lord * the family of the best of creation, my
doctor
And likewise, al-Zahra8, manifest * from the perfections of Muhammad
َ ْ :ُ َ ‫ُ†ﻢ ُﺳﻬ‬
{‫ﺎر ا ﻠﻴَ ِﺎ{ *** ; َﻣ ْﻦ ِﻠ ِﻮ ْر ِد ﺗ ِﺎ‬
ْ َُ َ ْ
ْ ‫ﺎ?َﺒ‬ َ ‫ُﻫ ْﻢ ر َﺟ ُﺎل اﻻﺗ‬
‫ﻴﺐ َ= ْﻮﻻ ْي *ﻤﺪ‬ ِ ِ ‫ﺑ‬ *** ‫ﺎل‬
ِ ‫ﺼ‬ ِ ِ
Encompassing those who stay awake at night * and everyone who recites the litany
They are the men of connection * to the beloved, my master, Muhammad
َ َ َ َ َ ََ َ ُ ُ
‫ﺎر‬
ِ ‫اري *** وا ﺼﺤﺎرى واﻟ ِﻘ‬
‫ﻔ‬ ِ e ‫ ن ا‬h ‫†ﻢ ﺳ‬
ْ َُ َ َ ََ ُ َْ ُ
‫ *ﻤﺪ‬Äَ ‫ﺎري *** ِﻠﺼﻼ ِة‬ِ ‫ﻗ‬ ‫و‬ ‫وب‬
ٍ Å;
‫ﺬ‬
Encompassing those who reside in the country * the deserts and wastelands
Every enraptured one (majdhub) and reciter * of the prayers on Muhammad
َ َ ْ َ ‫ ا…ﺎﺳ‬€‫ُ†ﻢ َر‬
‫ﺎ?ﻴﻨَﺎ‬
ِ ِ ‫ﻜﻴﻨﺎ *** َواﻟ ِﻌﺒﺎد ا ﺼ‬
ِ ِ
ْ َُ ََ ْ ْ َ
‫َوا ﺮ َﺟﺎل ا َﻮاﻗِ ِﻔﻴﻨَﺎ *** ِﻋﻨ َﺪ َ= ْﻮﻻﻧﺎ *ﻤﺪ‬
Extend, my Lord, upon the devotees * and righteous servants
Then men who are standing [sending blessings] * by our master Muhammad

َ ْ َُ َْ ُ ً َ َ ْ َ‫َو‹ﻬ ْﻢ ﻳَﺎ َرب ﻧ‬

‫ﻴﺎ وأﺧﺮى‬n‫ا *** داﺋِﻤﺎ د‬Æ ِِ
ْ َُ ْ َ ْ َ ْ َ ْ َ ْ َ َ َ ْ َ ْ َ
‫أﻋ ِﻈﻤﻦ ﻳﺎ رب أﺟﺮا *** ﺑِﺎ? ِﺒﻴﺐ =ﻮﻻي *ﻤﺪ‬
And by them, O Lord, grant victory * always, in the dunya and akhira
Magnify, O Lord, our rewards * by means of the beloved, my master, Muhammad

ِ ?‫رب رد ا‬
ْ َ ُ ْ َ ْ َ ْ َْ َ ُ ًْ َ ََ ْ ُ
‫“ﻦ …ﺎ ﻋﻮﻧﺎ ﻣ ِﻌﻴﻨﺎ *** ﺑِﺎ? ِﺒﻴﺐ =ﻮﻻي *ﻤﺪ‬
My Lord, repel the enviers * from harming us leaving them disappointed
Be for us aid and support * by means of the beloved, my master, Muhammad
َ ََ ْ ْ َََ َ ْ َْ َ
‫ﺘﻤ‚ﻦ ِﻣﻦ أذاﻧﺎ‬i *** ‫ َﻌﻞ ِﻋ َﺪاﻧﺎ‬Ç ‫َرب ﻻ‬
ْ َ ُ َْ ََ َ ََ ًَْ ْ ُ ُ ْ
‫اﻛﺴﻬﻢ ﺛﻮ‹ﺎ ﻫﻮاﻧﺎ *** وأ ِﺟﺒﻨﺎ ﺑِﻤﺤﻤﺪ‬
My Lord, do not allow our enemies * to have power to harm us
Clothe them in the robe of disgrace * answer us [O Lord] by means of Muhammad

ْ‫ﺄ ْ َس َﻋﻠَﻴْﻬﻢ‬P‫ا‬ ْ
َ ْ ‫ َﺬا‬¤َ ‫ْﻬ ْﻢ *** َو‬Áَ ‫ َ ْﻮ َف إ‬-‫ا‬ ‫َﻋﺠ ِﻞ‬
ِ ِ ِ
ْ َُ َ ْ َ ُ ْ َ َ َ َ
‫ن آل *ﻤﺪ‬Æ ‫ﻳْ ِﻬ ْﻢ *** واﻧ‬oَ ° ‫ﺬا ا‬¤‫َو‬
Hasten fear in them * and likewise calamity upon them
And likewise their own evil * and protect the family9 of Muhammad
َْ
‫آل َﺟﻌﻔ ْﺮ‬ ْ ‫ﺤﺮ ْر *** َﺻﺎﻟ ٌﺢ ﻣ‬
‫ﻦ‬ : ‫ﻧﺎَﻇ ُﻢ‬
َ ‫ر ا ُﻤ‬o‫ا‬
ِ ِ ِ ِ
ْ َ ُ ْ َ ْ َ ْ َْ ْ َ ْ َ َ ْ ً ْ َ َ
‫ *** ﺑِﺎ? ِﺒﻴﺐ =ﻮﻻى *ﻤﺪ‬eu‫ ﻓﻀﻼ ِﻣﻨﻚ أ‬È‫ا‬ ِ ‫ر‬
The composer of these scribed pearls * Salih, from the family of Ja’far10
Hoping for great bounty from You * by means of the beloved, my master, Muhammad
َ َ ً َ َ َ َ ً ْ َ
‫ﺒُ ْﻮﻻ‬V‫ﺎء َو‬‫ﻳَ ْﺮ ُﺟﻮ ﻓﻀﻼ ﻟ ْﻦ ﻳَ ُﺰ ْوﻻ *** و ِرﺿ‬
ْ َُ َ ْ َ ْ َ ً
‫ﻴﺐ َ= ْﻮﻻ ْى *ﻤﺪ‬‫َواﺗ َﺼﺎﻻ َو ُو ُﺻﻮﻻ *** ِﻠﺤ ِﺒ‬
He seeks, a bounty that will never end * and pleasure and acceptance
And connection and arrival * to the beloved, my master, Muhammad

‫ﻦ =ﻮﻻى *ﻤﺪ‬Ÿ‫ﺐ *** َزاﺋِ ِﺮ‬ ِ ‫ ﺻ‬F‫مٍ ﺑ‬C ;

He seeks a bounty from You, my Lord * the visit to the chosen one, my beloved
Every year among companions * visiting my master, Muhammad

ِ‫ﻴﻞ ا َﻤ َﺮام‬n Éِ َ‫ﺘ‬1‫ﺘَﺎمِ *** ﻧ‬-‫ا‬
ِ Xِ I ٍ ِ‫و‬
ْ َُ َ َ ََْ َ
‫ﻴﻊ ﻳﺎ *ﻤﺪ‬ ٍ ‫ ﺑ ِﻘ‬Xِ *** ِ‫ار ِﻠﻤﻘﺎم‬
ٍ ‫ﻮ‬Ëِِ
And a good end to life * seeking to gain the goal
Of being neighbors of the maqam * buried in Baqi’, O Muhammad
