ACTION PLAN FOR XXY NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, ZZZ DISTRICT, SY 2023-2024

Rationale:

The Department of Education (DepEd) in the Philippines has a comprehensive


Gender and Development (GAD) program in place to promote gender equality and
empowerment within educational institutions. This action plan is developed to align with
DepEd's Gender-Responsive Basic Education Policy (DepEd Order No. 32, s. 2017) and to
address gender-related issues within XXY National High School in ZZZ District during the
school year 2023-2024.

Goals:

1. To create a gender-inclusive and empowering learning environment at XXY


National High School.

2. To comply with DepEd's GAD program and contribute to reducing disparities in


education.

Objectives:

1. Identify Gender Issues: Clearly state the gender issues or GAD mandates that the
plan aims to address.

2. Analyze Root Causes: Understand the underlying causes of the identified gender
issues.

3. Set Objectives: Define the expected outcomes or objectives of the GAD activities.

4. Choose Relevant Programs/Projects: Select specific programs, activities, or


projects that will help address the identified gender issues.

5. Describe Activity Outputs: Detail the outputs or deliverables that will result from
the GAD activities.

6. Set Performance Indicators and Targets: Establish measurable indicators and


targets to assess the success of the GAD activities.

7. Allocate Budget: Determine the budget required to implement the GAD activities.

I. Objectives:
