Definition of Law:-

Definition of Moral Values:-

Moral values refer to the principles and standards that guide an individual's behavior and
decision-making. Moral values are often based on cultural, religious, or personal beliefs and are
used to evaluate what is right and wrong. Moral values can vary greatly between individuals
and cultures.

Definition of Ethics:-

Ethics refer to the moral principles that guide an individual's behavior and decision-making.
Ethics involve questions of right and wrong, good and bad, and fair and unfair. Ethics provide a
framework for evaluating options and making decisions that are in line with an individual's
values and principles.

Difference between Ethics and Codes of Ethics

While ethics and codes of ethics are related concepts, they are not the same thing. Ethics refer
to the moral principles that guide an individual's behavior and decision-making, whereas a code
of ethics is a set of written guidelines that outline the ethical standards and expectations for a
particular profession or organization.

In other words, ethics provide the moral framework for decision-making, while a code of ethics
provides the specific rules and guidelines for applying those moral principles in a particular
context.

The primary goals of ethics include:
