Qatar UPDA Guidelines and

1. First foremost step is to get the login ID and Password, When I did UPDA at that time, I got
user ID and password from QATAR Central Post office near chorniche, opposite to CBQ
Building. But I think you can do it now through Metrash with your QATAR ID.

2. After getting user ID and Password, before proceeding with overall application, download
the Arabic letter required for QATAR PCC.Once you log in your account after clicking
Engineers registration you will get this option to download this letter. Without this letter
they will not accept your PCC request.

3. So initially you can do only these 2 (above stated) items only, further follow below steps for
arranging documents and for final application.

(B) Obtaining Indian and Qatar PCC

1. Indian PCC: ICC, QATAR

2. Take Indian PCC to MOFA and get stamp 100QAR. at C RING ROAD after Holiday villa signal.

3. Take Passport copy

4. Take Id Copy

5. Take Arabic Letter [mentioned above in(A) 2.] from MMUP website stating in Arabic (I think
that this person is going to attend UPDA exam please issue him QATAR PCC)

6. Go to CEID QATAR Salwa Road with all the above mentioned documents. (Update: I think
you can do it now through Metrash as well, kindly check if you can)

7. Take QATAR Police clearance form. Fill the form attach all the above documents with 1
photograph and Submit.

8. After 7 Days you have to go CEID Salwa again for collecting your QATAR PCC with a fee
through credit card.

(C) Documents for Online filing

2. Your degree Original in Arabic(Transcript) scanned copy.

3. Your 8 Semesters mark sheets scanned copy.

4. Your Experience certificate if same country no need of attestation. If outside attestation

5. Yours add on Certificates

6. Your ID Copy Scanned

7. Qatar PCC scanned

8. Passport copy scanned

9. CV scanned

10. Your Company commercial registration number.

11. After logging in again by using the ID and Password provided in [(A) 1.] fill required details,
attach all the scanned copies and Submit online.

12. Once you submit after 10days tentatively if all ok you will get a message on your phone to
submit originals before certain date. (Update: Earlier it was 10Days now I heard the process
time little increased due to huge number of Candidates, so expect some processing time)

(D) After Document filling  www.orientalsalmalki.com

1. Once you submit these documents and fill all your details you will get a form in Arabic
mentioning all your details.

2. Prepare a file with all the above attachments ORIGINALS along with the above form on the
first following by all the documents along with the CV.

3. Take the above file by mentioning the file number on the TOP of file which you got after
submitting your docs online to MME Building ground floor Opposite to City center.

4. The person will crosscheck your documents and will take your file.

5. After 15 days you will get a message "Tomorrow is your Exam" reach by 9:00am to the
same MME building 9th floor for exam. (Update: Now getting exam date duration is also
increased, expect extreme processing in that too)

(E) EXAM:

1. You can go there early by 7:00am itself. as they will call all the persons available for exam if
not much crowded.

2. In 1 hr,25 Questions all multiple choice we have to finish, No negative marking so you can attempt
100% question. In my case (Mechanical Engineering) I got numerical & theoretical from
Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, fire safety, Drainage, Project Management, HVAC related
questions.)

3. if you pass the exam after a wait they will return your file and will ask you to pay the 300QAR
fee and take Oath.

4. If not, they will return your file stating you are failed, then you have to check again the re-
