2. Incremental deficiency fixes
Deficiencies resolved:
Deficiency MI0295-5354 When McAfee is installed and Windows HVCI is enabled, the kernel mode driver could exceed windows
Portable Executable’s 96 sections limitation and fail to load
Deficiency MI0295-5520 When NSI touchpad is configured to mouse control mode, the finger down and up commands were not
indepenendly handled, so the down command was not triggering an action
Deficiency MI0295-5682 On a system with multiple users, the user specific SoftGlow settings were not applied when the user logs in
Deficiency MI0295-5354 Memory allocated by the graphics driver from the nonpaged pool was executable.
With Win10 OS, kernel-mode drivers can allocate memory from a pool of no-execute (NX) nonpaged memory
for enhanced system security.
Deficiency MI0295-5367 When a pair of 2MP displays are configured in landscape mode, the preferred resolution of 1600x1200 can
not be set. The issue is also present for 3MP and 5MP displays configured in landscape mode. The issue
applies to displays driven by MXRT-x400 and MXRT-x500 generation of display controllers only.
Deficiency MI0295-5343 During display calibration with QAWeb1 Agent, calibration may stop in the middle with an error message
indicating the communication link is no longer valid
Deficiency MI0295-5146 In a configuration with mobile workstation connected to eGFX chassis via thunderbolt connector, when
QAWeb Enterprise is installed on the system, after hotplugging thunderbolt cable, IWT would no longer be
able to communicate with the displays, and the display specific functionalities, such as AAM, SpotView, would
stop working
Deficiency MI0295-5117 With an OpenGL based application that does not explicitly clear a newly created FBO before rendering to it,
rendering artifacts may be visible
Deficiency MI0295-5084 After upgrading software package, existing conference cloneview configurations may be lost because display
unique identifiers have changed
Deficiency MI0295-4888 When MXRT-1451 is used as the primary boot device, in conjunction with MXRT-x700 display controllers, in a
HP Z440 with SecureBoot enabled, one of the display connected to MXRT-1451 may not be available as part
of the desktop
Deficiency MI0295-4972 When an application window with AAM enabled switches to kiosk mode (press F11 in browser), the wrong
color can be shown in the window. The issue only occurs when desktop is configured to 10-bit per color
channel format.
Deficiency MI0295-4761 When QAWeb Enterprise is installed on the system, after a display change event, such as switching between
SingleView and DualView, IWT would no longer be able to send requests to the display. This would prevent
ILuminate or SpotView luminance control from being activated or deactivated from IWT
Deficiency MI0295-4774 If a standard user account is used to execute Barco_System_Cleaner, the tool will execute the uninstallation
of all the Barco software components; upon system reboot, it will not be able to complete the final clean up
of residual software modules
Deficiency MI0295-4776 When desktop is configured in 8bit precision and OpenGL application is rendering in 10bit, wrong color would
be displayed.
Deficiency MI0295-4870 A brief flashing of desktop is visible while QAWeb DIN application is updating the test patterns
Deficiency MI0295-4061 When a fusion display is configured in SingleView mode, restarting of the eGFX configuration may lead to
system failing to boot into Windows
Fixed in 10.184.1.0
Deficiency MI0295-4039 When the Thunderbolt cable is unplugged, if Conference CloneView is active, the driver may not fully unload
Deficiency MI0295-4153 In an eGFX configuration, when VirtualView is enabled through Barco_System_Settings control panel, the
VirtualView display will not automatically attach to the desktop.
Deficiency MI0295-4295 Black rectangle rendering artifacts may be visible on the bottom of the displays attached to MXRT display
controller on certain workstations
Deficiency MI0295-4403 Physical DPI returned by Windows® API is not correct for MDMC-12133 in singleview mode when driven by
MXRT-7600
Deficiency MI0295-3975 Mouse pointer may not show in correct coordinate on Conference CloneView target
Deficiency MI0295-3700 When running Barco MXRT driver on Windows 10® v1709 (2017 Fall Creators Update), while the desktop is
configured for 30bit pixel precision by default, any OpenGL based application will only be able to show 24bit
pixel precision.
Deficiency MI0295-4139 In a heterogeneous configuration where MXRT display controllers are used in conjunction with nVidia or AMD
display controllers, Intuitive Workflow Tools would fail to function
Deficiency MI0295-3857 When MXRT-2600 is installed together with MXRT-5600 or MXRT-7600, with MXRT-2600 configured as
primary, QAWebDIN GUI may fail to render properly
Deficiency MI0295-3869 Display controller serial number cannot be retrieved when system has SecureBoot enabled
Deficiency MI0295-3614 On systems running Windows 10® v1709 operating system, when attempting to adjust desktop layout via
Windows control panel, an error message popup indicates “The display setting could not be saved”
Deficiency MI0295-3593 When using Logitech G402 or M500 mouse pointer on systems with MXRT-x400 and MXRT-x500 display
controllers , the cursor may drift occasionally. The issue only affects graphics driver versions 10.143.2.0 and
10.143.2.1
Deficiency MI0295-3533 Windows Media Player that comes pre-installled with Windows 7® operating system fails to play video, and
generates this error message: “The Player might not support the file type or a required codec might not be
installed on your computer”
Deficiency MI0295-3533 If an application renders solely using DirectDraw blt calls to primary surface, it is possible to use up all the
available video memory, and fail any further memory allocation
Deficiency MI0295-3328 While in SingleView mode, when cursor is moving across the middle of the combined display, if the cursor
shape is also changing at the same time, then the cursor may appear to be offset from its true location
Deficiency MI0295-3253 When DisplayPort link training fails on one display, the other displays connected to the graphics controller
may not show any image either
Deficiency MI0295-3254 When two MXRT-5600 or MXRT-7600 are installed in the system, the LDA (Linked Display Adapter) feature
that is available with WDDM 2.0 driver model gets turned on automatically, causing the 2 nd graphics
controller to be used as image processing device only, and not sending out to the displays attached to it.
Deficiency MI0295-3244 SoftGlow feature control through Barco system settings control panel may become nonresponsive after
system resumes from sleep mode
Known deficiencies:
Deficiency MI0295-5424 In HPZ4 system, with MXRT-5600 connected to MDCC-6530, and another display is daisy chained through
MST, when the system resumes from sleep, one of the display may not show video.
This issue was only seen when the HP system has “Early PCIe Delay” enabled via the system BIOs.
Deficiency MI0295-4011 In an eGFX configuration, displays attached to MXRT display controller may not automatically attach to the
desktop after driver installation
Operating System(s) Windows 10®
Workaround: Manually attach the displays through Windows control panel. Once done, subsequent stop/restart of MXRT
display controller driver will lead to Windows automatically attaching the displays to the desktop
Deficiency MI0295-4094 Screen Saver may not show on all the displays. This is an issue with the screen saver application. It will only
detect up to nine displays, regardless of whether there is monitor attached. In the case of eGFX
configuration, the onboard graphics will normally be detected first and occupy the limited slots, causing the
displays attached to external discrete display controller not manged by screen saver application
Workaround: Disable the embedded discrete GPU in the mobile workstation if it is not needed.
Deficiency MI0295-4136 When hotplugging a display daisychained via MST to another display driven by MXRT display controller, it is
possible that the desktop background would fail to refresh
Functional limitation:
Deficiency MI0295-3732 After Windows 10 Operating system upgrades to v1709, the Fall 2017 Creator edition, the Barco MXRT driver
may be overwritten by Windows inbox driver. This will happen if you are using a legacy MXRT graphics
controller, including Barco MXRT-1450, MXRT-1451, MXRT-2400, MXRT-5400, MXRT-5450, MXRT-7400,
MXRT-2500, MXRT-4500, MXRT-5500, MXRT-5550 or MXRT-7500
Deficiency MI0295- On Windows 10, the default DPI scaling is calculated by the OS based on display EDID and can differ on per-
3728,3724,3758 display basis. So when you have a configuration with multiple display resolutions, DPI may different between
display devices. Some applications may not take per-display DPI scaling into account, which would lead to
issues such as incorrect mouse cursor location, miscalculation of Window position.
Workaround: Set a consistent DPI setting across all display attached to the desktop
Deficiency MI0295-2365 When using a single display controller to drive a desktop that is larger than 8192 pixels wide, DWM will be
disabled.
Deficiency MI0295-191 When using all three outputs of MXRT 7400 simultaneously, if passive display port to DVI adapters are used
with the display port outputs of the display controller, then the displays connected through the adapters need
to have the same display mode:
Deficiency MI0295-355 The displays attached to the MXRT 5400 display port connections must match if single-link/passive DP
dongles are used.
