Known deficiencies:

Deficiency MI0295-5424 In HPZ4 system, with MXRT-5600 connected to MDCC-6530, and another display is daisy chained through
MST, when the system resumes from sleep, one of the display may not show video.
This issue was only seen when the HP system has “Early PCIe Delay” enabled via the system BIOs.

Operating System(s) All

Reported in: 10.184.2.0

Workaround: Reboot the system.

Deficiency MI0295-4011 In an eGFX configuration, displays attached to MXRT display controller may not automatically attach to the

display controller driver will lead to Windows automatically attaching the displays to the desktop

Deficiency MI0295-4094 Screen Saver may not show on all the displays. This is an issue with the screen saver application. It will only
detect up to nine displays, regardless of whether there is monitor attached. In the case of eGFX
configuration, the onboard graphics will normally be detected first and occupy the limited slots, causing the
displays attached to external discrete display controller not manged by screen saver application

Operating System(s) All

Reported in: 10.171.1.0

Workaround: Disable the embedded discrete GPU in the mobile workstation if it is not needed.

Deficiency MI0295-4136 When hotplugging a display daisychained via MST to another display driven by MXRT display controller, it is

Reported in: 10.171.1.0, 10.143.4.0

Workaround: Any desktop layout adjustment through windows control panel would refresh the background

Functional limitation:

Deficiency MI0295-3732 After Windows 10 Operating system upgrades to v1709, the Fall 2017 Creator edition, the Barco MXRT driver
may be overwritten by Windows inbox driver. This will happen if you are using a legacy MXRT graphics
controller, including Barco MXRT-1450, MXRT-1451, MXRT-2400, MXRT-5400, MXRT-5450, MXRT-7400,
MXRT-2500, MXRT-4500, MXRT-5500, MXRT-5550 or MXRT-7500

Workaround: Re-install the MXRT graphics controller driver

Deficiency MI0295- On Windows 10, the default DPI scaling is calculated by the OS based on display EDID and can differ on per-
3728,3724,3758 display basis. So when you have a configuration with multiple display resolutions, DPI may different between
display devices. Some applications may not take per-display DPI scaling into account, which would lead to
issues such as incorrect mouse cursor location, miscalculation of Window position.

Workaround: Set a consistent DPI setting across all display attached to the desktop

Deficiency MI0295-2365 When using a single display controller to drive a desktop that is larger than 8192 pixels wide, DWM will be
disabled.

This is a known issue with Windows 7 OS. Please refer to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2724530

Workaround: Add another graphics controller to the system

Deficiency MI0295-191 When using all three outputs of MXRT 7400 simultaneously, if passive display port to DVI adapters are used
with the display port outputs of the display controller, then the displays connected through the adapters need
to have the same display mode:

See the Display User Manual for more information.

Deficiency MI0295-355 The displays attached to the MXRT 5400 display port connections must match if single-link/passive DP
dongles are used.

See the Display User Manual for more information.
