subject and how they interpreted prior studies. Furthermore, the processing time for the studies
that were done was constrained due to the information needs, which made it difficult for
researchers to get the required data. Before the research team can compile an explanation or at
least the data required for the study, it should take much longer to do more research.

This chapter will give information on the research methods used in the study.it gives
information regarding the study’s participants, including who they are, how will be sampled, and
criteria needed for inclusion. The study’s purpose and the variables that led to the design’s
selection are discussed by the researcher. The procedures that will be used to carry out this study
are also included, along with a description of the instrument that will be used for data collection.
The methods that will be used to analyze the data that will be collected are also covered by the
researcher.

Research Methodology

The research used a quantitative research methodology for this study.in contrast to
quantitative research, which collects numerical data points and may intervene or introduce
treatments, quantitative research explores and offers deeper insights into real-world issues.
Qualitative research aids in the development of hypotheses and helps further explore and
comprehend qualitative data.

In order to study social and cultural phenomena, quantitative research methods were
developed in the social sciences qualitative data sources includes interviews documents and text,
as well as the researchers and perceptions.

Research Design

This study attempts to identify the influence of k-pop student’s lifestyle and aesthetic
outfit fashion, to know if k-pop affects the students positively or negatively. The construct of the
research study is that of a phenomenological qualitative design.
12

A quantitative research strategy called “phenomenological research” aims to comprehend

and characterize a phenomenon’s fundamental elements. The methodology examines human
experience in daily life while putting aside the researcher’s prior notions about the phenomenon.
Delve. Ho, L., AND Limpaecher, A. (2022).

The premise behind the phenomenological research design is that individuals employ a
common structure or essence to interpret their experience. For the purpose of explaining the
essence of the event under inquiry, they interpret the participants’ emotions. Perception and
beliefs. Any assumptions the researcher may have about the experience or phenomenon must be
bracketed in phenomenological research design Delve Ho, L., AND imnaecher A. (2020) this
study will conduct in At RC-AL-KHWARIZMI INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE

Sampling and Sampling Procedure 13

The research a snowball sampling technique for the study, since there are only few
students who are fans of k-pop, thus the researchers decided to employ the sampling technique
that is most likely to obtain accurate outcomes.

A non-probability sampling technique called snowball sampling technique entails the

recruitment of new units by existing units to make up the sample. Research about people with
particular characteristics who would be identifying otherwise can benefit from snowball
sampling Nikolopoulou, K. (2022). Some of the participant will be ask if they have a friend that
they will refer to the researcher to interview.

Snowball sampling, sometimes referred to as chain sampling or network sampling, starts

with one or more study participants. Following that, it proceeds based on recommendations from
those participants. This procedure is repeated until the desired sample is obtained or a saturation
point is research Nikolopoulou, K.(2022).

Data Gathering Procedure

To request permission to conduct a study at RC AL-KHWARIZMI INTERNAIONAL

COLLEGE FOUNDATION INC. The research will submit a letter of approval to the school’s
principal. After the approval of the letter the data for this study will be collected through semi-
structured interviews. The interviews necessary data to address the issues identified in this study.

Research Instrument

Research instrument is the tool that is answer the research questions that states in the
previous chapter. The research intention is to gather the information from as much various
sources. Data can be obtained from primary and secondary data, primary data refers to obtained
first-hand by the researchers on the variables of interest for specific purpose of the study and
secondary data refer to information gathered from sources that already exist (Sekara, Bougie,
