Project Title: Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing

Abstract
This report summarizes my work during the summer internship program at C-DAC Noida.
The internship focused on ethical hacking, including techniques like Google Dorking and

Introduction
Ethical hacking, also referred to as penetration testing, is the practice of assessing and
improving the security of information systems by simulating potential cyber-attacks. The
objective is to identify vulnerabilities before malicious actors do.
Overview of the Company
The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is a premier R&D
organization under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of
India. It is known for its expertise in high-performance computing, cybersecurity, and
software development.
Overview of Technology
This internship covered the use of various tools and techniques for ethical hacking. Key
technologies include Google Dorking for uncovering exposed web resources and Amass for
network reconnaissance and mapping.

The internship focused on two main projects:

Google Dorking
Google Dorking involves using specific search queries to find exposed sensitive data, such as
