Lace Jewelry
Instructions
The only rule to making this lace jewelry is that there are no rules! There are a few basic supplies that are required; the rest is
up to your imagination. Below are some suggestions from us to get you started, but we truly hope you define your own style
and make this embroidery collection your own.

Supplies:
Jewelry Pliers – Small pliers that are easily able to grip the small
elements required in jewelry making.

Jump Rings – Jump rings are simple metal loops with a cut in them.
They are easy to open or close with small
jewelry pliers. Jump rings are used as a go-
between when attaching the lace to chain,
the chain to a clasp or charms to either
chain or lace. To open a jump ring, use two
pairs of small jewelry pliers to clamp down on
each side of the cut. Pull one end towards
you while pushing the other end away. This
will help prevent breaking or distorting the
shape of the jump ring.

Lobster Clasps – Simple clasps shaped like a

lobster claw that are used frequently in necklaces.

Chain –
Buy chain in craft
stores in packages
Toggle Clasps – or reuse old chains.
A rod and loop clasp We even bought
frequently used in costume jewelry at
bracelets. a dollar store and
took it apart so that
we could use the
chain.

Ear Wires –
Earring hardware
with a simple loop Feel free to add additional elements such as beads
at the end to attach and charms. Use a very small (26 gauge) wire to string
desired elements. beads as desired, making a loop at the end so that you
can use a jump ring to attach it to your jewelry.
