Storage Transportation
• Do SP4-806-001 to move the scanner carriage from
the home position. This prevents dust from
falling into the machine during transportation.
• Remove the toner cartridge. This prevents toner
leakage caused by vibration during transport.
• Remove all paper from the paper trays.
• Attach a sheet of paper to the bottom plates of the
tray to hold them in place during transport.
Mainframe TBD • Take out the scanner stay from inside the front cover
and install the scanner stay.
• Fasten the front door and covers with shipping tape,
and then shrink-wrap the machine tightly.
▪ Service personnel previously trained on the D223 - D225 series, will need
to complete the self-paced training.
▪ Service personnel not certified on the D223 – D225 series, will need to
complete a self paced Tier 1 course and an instructor led Tier 2 class -
