    Scene: Montage of the mirror/ transition: chika sa mga classmates.

    Myth of the Mirror


    Narrator/Person1: In a quiet, forgotten corner of an old school stood
    a dusty, ornate mirror. The students called it the "Mirror of Echoes,"
    and the legend whispered from one generation to the next was that it
    held a strange power: anyone who touched it would be transported to
    another world—a world where they would take the place of someone else
    who touched the mirror at the exact same time.
    The myth said only one thing could undo the exchange: they both had to
    touch the mirror again at the same time. But as they searched for
    answers in their new worlds, they discovered that the lives they now
    inhabited offered what they had always yearned for.

    Transition: The mirror's origins remain a mystery. Some say it was


    forged by twin gods who wanted to understand life from another's
    perspective. Others believe it was cursed by a trickster spirit.
    Whatever the truth, the Mirror of Echoes still waits, ready to bind
    two souls with a single touch.

    Ben: That’s… kinda awesome. But also terrifying.


    Person 1: That’s the thing—they have to touch the mirror again, at the
    exact same moment, to go back. But here’s the catch: some people like
    their new lives better.
    Luis: Right. So they just stayed switched forever? (sarcastic)
    Person 1: That’s what they say. The mirror is still out there. The one
    in our school could still work.
    Ben: What if it’s true? Like, what if someone accidentally uses it?
    Person 1: Well, we could always test it. Want to touch the mirror
    tomorrow?

    Luis : You’re so full of it, (name)

    Ben: I’m not touching it. What if she’s right?

    Person 1: (leaning back) Suit yourself. But just imagine—what if


    there’s someone on the other side of that mirror, waiting for you
    to switch places?
    [The friends exchange uneasy glances as the candlelight flickers,
    casting eerie shadows on the walls.]

    Luis: (breaking the tension with a laugh) You’re all ridiculous.


    But… I’m not touching that thing, just in case.

    Ben: (whispers) Me neither.

    Transition: cultural difference


    Scene: montage of cultural difference (Luis and Lawrence)

    Scene 1: Classroom
    Mr. Gilbor: Good day class! Welcome back! For your finals I want you
    all to explore the meaning of ‘self’ in your culture—what defines you
    as an individual and how your culture shapes that. You’ll be working
    in pairs.
    (class murmur)
    Mr. Gilbor: Andalajao and Labajo
    Espinosa and Ares
    Frames: ben and Shifra high five
    Eric and Lawrence staring into each other.
    - *Luis*: “I think we should focus on the importance of family and
    community. That’s what makes us who we are.”
    -Lawrence: “Yeah, but I think it’s more about being able to do what
    you want, right? Like, choosing your own path without worrying about
    everyone else.”

    *Passed by the old mirror (something strange pag-agi nila)

    Lawrence: Hey, isn’t that the “Mirror of Echoes”?


    Luis: Yeah, what about it? Don’t tell me, you believe that stupid myth
    too.
    Lawrence: yeah right, like you and your friends are not talking about
    it.
    Luis: *scoffs*
    *Went to the library to for the school project.

    Went to the old mirror again, Lawrence is about to touch the mirror,
    Luis tried to stop him, ended up both touching the mirror.
