1. Tell me something about yourself / How do you describe yourself?
My full name is Tran Thi Thanh Huyen. I graduated from Duy Tan University with a
degree in Accounting and Auditing. I have 4 months intern as a Accountant at AeonMall
Limited Liability Company. Besides, Iam also proficient in MISA accounting software
and Office Skills. Inaddition, I have TOEIC 670 and JLPT N4 Japanese. I am friendly,
sociable, responsible at work, patient and especially honest in my profession.
2. What are your strengths?/11.Why should we hire you?(And I think my abilities
match well with your requirement.)
I graduated from Accounting and Auditing PSU Program at Duy Tan University with
GPA 3,5. I am also proficient in MISA accounting software and Office Skills. Inaddition,
I have TOEIC 670 and JLPT N4 Japanese. Besides, I am careful, honest and able to work
independently or in team. I can also work in high pressure and have a spirit of learning
and progress.
3. What are your weaknesses?
My weakness is being afraid to conmunicate. Because of the nature of my job, I'm quite
shy when talking to others or giving presentations. I've also signed up for a
communication course to improve my weakness.
4. Where do you see yourself in 5 years ?
In the short-term, I would love to be a part of your company as a Revenue Accountant. I
also try to improve my skill in Excel and Misa software use while contributing to
company. My goal is to achive CPA (Certified Public Accounts) accounting certificate
with level 2.
5. What are your long-term goals ?
I want to grow with the company, taking more responsibility and advancing into a
General Accountant. Another of my long-term goal is to achieve Certified Management
Account in 10 years to suit the position Chief /tʃiːf/ Accountant.
6. What did you know about our company/us ?
- I have also learned a litlle about the company.
- Your company operates in the financial services sector, focusing on helping businesses
with compliance, financial reporting and internal controls. The company's services
typically include accounting, tax consulting, auditing and business consulting.
- And I also know that your company is one of the 5 best auditing companies in Vietnam
voted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
7. How did you know about us ?
I want to a part of your company, therefore, I’ve been looking for opportunities from your
company in different network, from your website to job site such as Facebook or
vietcareer. And I’m lucky to find an Accountant position from your website.
8. How well do you handle the change ?
- I believe I am a well-adapted person.
When I just entered university and moved to Da Nang to live by myself. Everything
around me changed especially the environment and study. However, I have adapted to
being away from my family and living alone. And I also kept up with the university
learning environment. I can cook for myself, study by myself and can do everything by
myself.
9. Do you work well under pressure ?
- Yes, I work very well under pressure/ I often perform best under pressure.
- Within a week, I have to finish an assignment and present for a group presentation at the
same time for two different courses. I face lots of pressure and it was really a hard time,
but also feel a bit challenging as well.
- I created a detailed schedule, allocating specific times for research and practice for each
presentation. I focused on one presentation at a time to avoid feeling overload.
- Results:And the end result, I finished both presentations successfully and received high
marks.
10. How do you make important decisions ?
- I start by gathering data and collecting related information to understand the situation.
- Base on the data, I suggest various options and solutions.
- I then consulted with related co-workers or boss.
- I made my final decision.
12. What extracurricular activities were you involved in ?
- I am members of the Accounting club in my university because my major is
Accounting.
- During 2 years being a treasure /ˈtreʒə(r)/ of the club, I’ve joined several events such as:
workshops, guest /gest/ lectures, and networking sessions with professionals.
It brought me joy and experience to become an accountant, helping me develop my skills
and connections in the field.
13. What are you looking for in a new job ?
- I’m looking for opportunities to develop my skills as an accountant, such as gaining
experience in financial analysis and tax preparation.
- Besides, working in an English-speaking environment would help me improve my
English skills, especially in speaking and writing.
- I also look for various internal training courses provided by the company to enhance
/inha:ns/ my knowledge and expertise /ekspơ:ti:z/.
14. What role do you normally take on in team ?
- In a team setting, I typically take on the role of leader.
- As the leader, I divide the project into smaller, manageable tasks based on each
member's strengths and expertise.
- By clearly defining roles and tasks, I can ensure that each member is working to their
strengths, which maximizes our overall effectiveness and all of assignment achieve high
scores.
15. What is your greatest accomplishment ?
- My greatest accomplishment was my final year thesis /ˈθiːsɪs/ with Accounting and
Auditing major at university. My thesis topic was about the impact of financial reporting
standards on corporate transparency /træns'pærəns/. I faced the challenge of collecting
and analyzing large datasets and applying accounting models to draw conclusions. As a
result, I received 9.5 for my thesis.
