    1. WHAT IS THE PRESENT SIMPLE?

    The Present Simple is a tense used to describe habitual actions, general truths, routines,
    and permanent states. It is formed using the base form of the verb, and in the third person
    singular (he, she, it), you add "-s" or "-es" to the
    verb.
    2. WHAT ARE THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PRESENT SIMPLE?

    The Present Simple has several key characteristics:


    Used for routines or habitual actions: It describes actions that happen regularly.
    Example: I wake up at 7 AM every day.
    General facts or universal truths: It expresses facts that are always true.
    Example: The Earth orbits the sun.
    Used for permanent states or stable situations: It describes things that do not change in the
    short term.
    Example: She lives in Madrid.

    3. WHAT IS THE PAST TENSE AND DATE?

     Past tense: Period that has already occurred.


     Date: Specific point in time.
     Relationship: Dates help us identify and locate events in the past.

    4. IN WHAT SITUATION IS THE PAST TENSE USED?

    In English, there are two main types of past tense: Simple Past: Used to describe
    completed actions in the past.
    Examples: I played tennis yesterday. She walked to school. Past Continuous: Used to
    describe actions that were ongoing at a specific time in the past.
    Examples: He was watching TV when I called. We were eating dinner at 7 PM.

    5. WHAT IS TECHNICAL VOCABULARY?

    Technical language, technical jargon, technical vocabulary or technical terminology is


    known as the vocabulary shared by those who are dedicated to a highly specialized
    profession, trade or activity, and which is usually obscure or cryptic for the layman (not
    understood or not experienced).

    6. WHY ARE CONNECTORS IMPORTANT?

    Its importance lies in the fact that it gives variety and complexity to the oral or written
    expression of those who use it.
    Examples.
    Imagine these two prayers separately:
     I like to eat apples.
     I like to eat bananas.
    Now, connect them with a connector:
     I like to eat apples and bananas. (Addition)
     I like to eat apples, but I don't like bananas. (Contrast)
