    Welcome to Hub of Africa Fashion Week (HAFW)

    As we embark on another year of celebrating African fashion in the vibrant city


    of Addis Ababa, we extend our warmest greetings to all our esteemed guests.
    Over a decade ago, HAFW set the stage for the African fashion industry, and
    since then, we have witnessed remarkable growth and transformation.

    While acknowledging our strides, it's crucial to recognize that Africa still
    represents a modest fraction of the global fashion industry. At HAFW, we take
    pride in our role as a vital platform for established and emerging designers
    and brands. Our mission goes beyond borders – we aim to showcase the best
    of Africa not only to the continental audience and the broader global market.

    From its inception, HAFW has been dedicated to fostering the holistic growth of
    the African fashion industry. We are more than just a runway; we are a catalyst
    for positive change. Our focus extends beyond designers to encompass the
    development of modeling, hair, cosmetics, and the entire value chain within
    the industry. We believe in the potential of "Made in Africa" and consider it a
    collective motto that we must nurture and build together.

    We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Waridi Schrobsdorf for her
    unwavering support, tireless efforts, and invaluable contributions to the
    success of HAFW. Her passion for nurturing talent and her commitment to the
    development of the fashion industry align seamlessly with the core values of
    our event.

    As we come together for HAFW, let us celebrate the diversity, creativity, and
