Role Summary

As a Backend Developer, you will be integral to designing, implementing, and scaling the backend
infrastructure of our product. Working closely with the product and frontend teams, you’ll help
deliver a high-quality, secure, and reliable service that can handle large volumes of data and users. If
you’re passionate about creating an impact and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, we’d
love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

 Develop and maintain high-performance backend applications using Node.js or Java Spring
Boot.

 Architect microservices and utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and


Kubernetes.

 Implement and optimize real-time systems using WebSockets, pub/sub, and event-driven
architectures.

 Design and maintain secure and scalable authentication systems (OAuth2, JWT).

 Work with NoSQL and relational databases, handling large datasets with efficiency.

 Collaborate on DevOps practices and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

 Optimize systems for high concurrency, performance tuning, and scalability.

 Ensure best practices in API design, error handling, logging, and debugging.

 Integrate geolocation APIs, payment gateways, and push notification services for enhanced
user experience.

Qualifications

 5+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Node.js or Java-Spring


Boot.

 Proficient in building and managing microservices architectures.

 Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

 Solid understanding of NoSQL and relational databases.

 Experience with real-time systems and event-driven architectures.

 Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and other secure authentication systems.

 Understanding of DevOps practices and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or
Azure).

 Expertise in high-performance systems, error handling, and debugging.

 Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
