• Prepare the MTO Quantity for Project Scope( Pipes, Fittings, Valves Etc)
• Well known knowledge Applicable in ASME, API Codes for Process Piping
• Inter connects and Tie-in for shut down activities.
• Review the JSA and RA for the construction activities.
• Resolve the Technical clarification and STQ as per comments
• Preparation of Material Specification as per ASME Standards
• Check the Equipment Layout & GA drawings for piping analysis.
• Provide technical answers to Engineering Queries raised up by the sub-contractor confirming
design drawings and standard requirements
• Well known Knowledge in the Permit System.
• Identify the hazards of work.
• Involved in safety meeting for safety observation in the site.
• Raise the ERFI for Clients due to Site concern during the Installation.
• Arrange the Material and consumables for the Site Requirements.
• Fabrication and Erection of Piping and Supports.
• Installation of Special Type Pipe Supports like Variable and Constant Spring hanger, Snubber as
per vendor standards.
• Estimation of pipe supports as per client data.
• Monitoring the Heat number of the pipes and fittings, Line number, tagging for Pipe Fabrication
and Installation for the requirements of QC Activities.
• Conduct TBM for site construction activities.
• Preparation of AS Built Drawing as per changes in site condition.
• Preparation of volume of dia .inches for the shop and field welding Activities.
• Monitor the daily progress for welding dia inches.
• Review the revision drawings for clashing and other activities.
• Prepare the line list as per Design and Hydro test Pressure
• Modification on Piping as per client’s instructions at site.
• Preparation and follow up of field piping system test packages, for the Priority Hydro test as per
client Requirements.
• Preparation of Spools as per isometrics for erection at site.
• Fabrication and Installation of Structural supports for the project.
• Calculate the Total Weight of supports for the project.
• Well known knowledge in U/G piping activities.
• Co-ordinate with Other Relevant Departments for mechanical clearance and other activities.
• Conduct the Pressure Test as per the Requirements.
• Conduct Line walk with clients for Hydro test and punch items.
• Ensured out punch list are resolved and handover to the client.
• Check the lines for shutdown activities to do the valve isolation.
• Installation of special pipe supports as per vendor specification.
• Installation of Fire fighting equipments as per company standards.
• Well Known Knowledge in Shutdown and Turn around Activities in Piping System.
• Check the hydro test vents and drain system in the pipeline.
• Review the co-ordinates for tie in lines cutting point and connection for new lines.
• Review the hydro test package for vents and drain in the system.
• Knowledge in the Steam Tracing cable and Tray Supports for Piping.
• Conduct Pre-commissioning (flushing & blowing) for reinstatement activities.
