RULES OF COMPETITION

1. NAME

This competition is named MALAYSIAN VARSITY INTERNATIONAL SILAT


CHAMPIONSHIP 2024

2. ORGANIZERS

2.1 The organizers of this championship are Ministry of Higher Education


Malaysia, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia and Persekutuan Silat Kebangsaan
Malaysia (PESAKA).

2.2 In terms of organization, UTHM is fully responsible for appointing organizing


committees that are specially selected for this championship.

2.3 It is under the organizer’s responsibility to fully explain with clarity the rules
of competition to any individuals involved.

3. PARTICIPANTS’ ELIGIBILITY

3.1 All public and private universities, polytechnics, community colleges and any
learning institutions that are registered under Malaysia Ministry of Higher
Education are eligible to enter, with condition that he/she is a registered student.
Contestants need to have their matric cards with them at all times during the
competition.

3.2 For students only eligible student from respectives university, colleges
university are allow to participate.

4. REGISTRATION FEES

4.1 Entrance fee is RM 50.00 per person

4.2 Fees excluded accommodation, food and transportation.

5. OBJECTION

5.1 Only the team manager is allowed to make any objections. All
objections should be in a written form and RM 500.00 will be charged.

5.2 All objections should be submitted to the head of competition 10


minutes after results have been announced.

5.3 If the objection is rejected by the committee of opposition, the RM


500.00 charge will not be returned.

5.4 All decisions made by the committee are final.

6. ADJOURNMENT

6.1 The date, venue and duration of the competition have been set by and
under the jurisdiction of the organizers, as mentioned in the invitation
letter.

6.2 The organizing committee has all the rights to adjourn or change the
competition by notifying the team managers prior to the competition.

1 This competition is done following the rules of


PERSILAT (Persatuan Silat Antarabangsa), PESAKA
Malaysia (Persekutuan Silat Kebangsaan) and rules
set by the organizers.

2 CONTESTANT’S REGISTRATION

2.1 This competition is open to all higher education


institutions and
youths, both local and international.

2.2 Registration form, Self Guarantee form and


Medical check-up form must be submitted to the
championship committee before the competition
begins.

3.1.1 Covers both Putra (male) and Putri (female) categories.
3.1.2 All rules are referring to PERSILAT and PESAKA’s rules.

3.2 SILAT SENI EVENT

The competition will be based on rules set by Persekutuan Silat


Antarabangsa (PERSILAT) and Persekutuan Silat Kebangsaan
Malaysia (PESAKA) including all amendments made.
