Family Matter
My ex-husband was trying to forcefully take away my daughter despite the mutual agreement of her custody.
Nowhere to go I sought Tele-Law to get legal guidance and support. I am thankful to the Tele-Law panel lawyer
who not only patiently listen to my problem but encouraged me to approach our customary court for the custody
of my daughter as my divorce was settled by them .

or refund my Rs 25,000 Frustrated I sought legal advice through Tele-Law. Panel Lawyer drafted a notice on my
behalf, and I sent to the correspondent. I am thankful to Tele-Law service because of which I got my entire amount

Mr. Vika, Beneficiary, Dimapur district, Nagaland

Since 2019, I have been actively involved in Tele Law, contributing to the program's mission of providing legal
aid to underserved communities in India. Over this period, I have registered and assisted with more than 1000
cases, making a positive difference in the lives of many individuals. The most prevalent cases I've encountered
are related to land disputes, child inheritance issues and Victims of Natural Disaster/Ethnic Violence. These
cases are often critical and can have a significant impact on people's lives, making Tele Law invaluable in resolv-
ing these legal conflicts.
Mr. T Thepongse, VLE, Tuensang district, Nagaland

Since 2022, I have been serving as a Panel Lawyer under the Tele-Law. I have had the opportunity to interact and
advice more than 5500 beneficiaries on their legal issues. Majority of these beneficiaries come from rural areas and
have faced various challenges. I strongly believe that Tele-Law project by the Department of Justice has been
instrumental in providing timely legal assistance to the needy and indigenous people. I am grateful for the valuable
experience and opportunity to serve the people of Nagaland.
