The environment is single instance database.

Note:-
1)Review readme file on Patch 35943157 – Database Release Update 19.22.0.0.0
2)Download patch p35943157_190000_Linux-x86-64.zip
3)Make sure the opatch version is minimum 12.2.0.1.17

Step:-1 Download the Patch from oracle support

Step:-2 Copied the patch to DB Server:

Step:-3 Upgrade Opatch Tool from 12.2.0.1.17 to 12.2.0.1.43:

Check the database_role, create pfile from spfile & take backup of controlfile:

Run the below command to verify after shutdown database and stopping listener:

Step:-4 Check Patches status before apply using below query:

Identifying Invalid Objects before patching

Step 5:- Shutdown Database and Listener:

Step:-6 Take Backup of ORACLE_HOME and Database (Rollback plan):
cd $ORACLE_HOME
tar -cvf oracle_home_14OCT_2024.tar $ORACLE_HOME

Connect with rman take full backup

Step:-7 Apply RU patch on ORACLE_HOME 19c:
