Ziyarat Ale Yasin -

Imam Mahdi(ajtfs)
This Ziarat is recited for Imam
Mahdi(ajtfs) & any of the Imams as
well
It is a Hadith Qudsi (direct saying of Allah(swt)) in
Mafatih-al-Jinnan. is reported from Shaykh Ahmad
ibn Abi-Talib al-Tabrisi in his book of al-Ihtijaj:
The chain of narrators is: Al-Tabarsi narrates that
Mohammad son of Abdullah al-Hemyari received
this Ziyarah in a written letter from Imam Mahdi (a)
during the minor occultation.

salamun `ala ale yasin
Peace be upon the Household of Yasin.

ِ َ ‫ﻚ ﻳَﺎ دا ِﻋﻲ‬
ِ‫ ورﺑَّ ِﺎﱐ َّ آﻳَﺎﺗِﻪ‬8‫ٱ‬
َ َ ّ َ َ َ ْ ‫َﻠَﻴ‬+ ‫ﻟﺴﻼ َ ُم‬

alssalamu `alayka ya da`iya allahi wa rabbaniyya
ayatihi
Peace be upon you, O caller to Allah and interpreter
of His Verses.

‫ﺎن ِدﻳ ِﻨ ِﻪ‬َ ّ

َ ََ َ‫ﻳ‬‫د‬‫و‬ ِ

alssalamu `alayka ya baba allahi wa dayyana dinihi
Peace be upon you, O door to Allah and applier of
His religion.

‫ َوﻧَﺎ ِﺻ َﺮ‬8‫ٱ‬
ِ َ َ‫ﻚ ﻳَﺎ َﺧﻠِﻴ َﻔﺔ‬
ّ َ ْ ‫َﻠَﻴ‬+ ‫ﻟﺴﻼ َ ُم‬

alssalamu `alayka ya khalifata allahi wa nasira
haqqihi
Peace be upon you, O viceroy of Allah and backer of
His right.

‫ﻴﻞ‬ ِ َ َ‫ﻚ ﻳَﺎ ﺣ َّﺠﺔ‬

alssalamu `alayka ya hujjata allahi wa dalila
iradatihi
Peace be upon you, O Argument of Allah and sign of
His volition.

alssalamu `alayka ya taliya kitabi allahi wa
tarjumanihi
Peace be upon you, O reciter of the Book of Allah
and its interpreter.

ِ ‫ﻚ وأ َ ْﻃ َﺮ‬
‫اف‬ َ ِ ‫ﻠ‬‫ﻴ‬َ ‫ﻟ‬ ِ
‫ﺎء‬َ ‫آﻧ‬ ‫ﰲ‬ِ ‫ﻚ‬

alssalamu `alayka 6 ana'i laylika wa atra6 naharika
Peace be upon you at the hours of Your night and
the two ends of Your day.

‫ ِﰲ أ َ ْر ِﺿ ِﻪ‬8‫ٱ‬
ِ َ َ‫ﻚ ﻳَﺎ ﺑَﻘِﻴَﺔ‬
ّ ّ َ ْ ‫َﻠَﻴ‬+ ‫ﻟﺴﻼ َ ُم‬
َّ َ ‫ا‬
alssalamu `alayka ya baqiyyata allahi 6 ardihi
Peace be upon you, O herald of Allah on His lands.

‫ ٱﻟ َّ ِﺬي أ َ َﺧ َﺬ ُه‬8‫ٱ‬
ِ َ ‫ﺎق‬
ّ َ َ ‫ﺜ‬ d ِ
‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻚ ﻳَﺎ‬

‫َو َو َّﻛ َﺪ ُه‬
alssalamu `alayka ya mithaqa allahi alladhi
akhadhahu wa wakkadahu
Peace be upon you, O covenant of Allah that He has
made and confirmed.

‫ ٱﻟ َّ ِﺬي َﺿ ِﻤﻨ َ ُﻪ‬8‫ٱ‬

ِ َ ‫ْ َﺪ‬+‫ﻚ ﻳَﺎ و‬
ّ َ َ ْ ‫َﻠَﻴ‬+ ‫ﻟﺴﻼ َ ُم‬

alssalamu `alayka ya wa`da allahi alladhi daminahu
Peace be upon you, O Promise of Allah that He has
assured.

Peace be upon you, O appointed pennon,

‫ﻮب‬ ‫ﺒ‬‫ﺼ‬ْ َ ‫ﳌ‬

ْ ‫ٱ‬ ‫ﻢ‬ْ ‫ﻠ‬ِ ‫ﻌ‬
ْ ‫ٱﻟ‬ ‫و‬

wal`ilmu almasbubu
poured knowledge,

‫ﲪ ُﺔ ٱﻟ ْ َﻮا ِﺳﻌَ ُﺔ‬

َ ْ ‫َوٱﻟْﻐ َ ْﻮ ُث َوٱﻟ َّﺮ‬
walghawthu walrrahmatu alwasi`atu
aid, and expansive mercy.

ٍ ‫َ ْﲑَ َﻣ ْﻜ ُﺬ‬u ً ‫ْﺪا‬+‫َو‬

‫وب‬
wa`dan ghayra makdhubin
This is verily a promise that shall never be belied.

‫ﲔ ﺗَﻘ ُﻮ ُم‬ ِ ‫ﻚ‬

َ َ ْ ‫َﻠَﻴ‬+ ‫ﻟﺴﻼ َ ُم‬
‫ﺣ‬ َّ َ ‫ا‬
alssalamu `alayka hina taqumu
Peace be upon you whenever you rise (to undertake
the mission).

‫ﲔ ﺗَ ْﻘ ُﻌ ُﺪ‬ ِ ‫ﻚ‬
َ َ ْ ‫َﻠَﻴ‬+ ‫ﻟﺴﻼ َ ُم‬
‫ﺣ‬ َّ َ ‫ا‬
alssalamu `alayka hina taq`udu
Peace be upon you whenever you sit.

ُِ ّ َ ‫ﲔ ﺗَ ْﻘ َﺮأُ َو ُﺗﺒ‬

َ َ ْ ‫َﻠَﻴ‬+ ‫ﻟﺴﻼ َ ُم‬

alssalamu `alayka hina taqra'u wa tubayyinu

Peace be upon you whenever you recite and
elucidate.

‫ﲔ ُﺗ َﺼﻠِّﻲ َوﺗَ ْﻘﻨُ ُﺖ‬

alssalamu `alayka hina tusalli wa taqnutu
Peace be upon you whenever you offer prayer and
supplicate.

‫ﲔ ﺗَ ْﺮﻛ َُﻊ َوﺗَ ْﺴ ُﺠ ُﺪ‬ ِ ‫ﻚ‬

‫ﺣ‬ َ ‫ﻴ‬َ ‫ﻠ‬َ + ‫م‬َ ‫ﻼ‬ ‫ﻟﺴ‬

alssalamu `alayka hina tarka`u wa tasjudu
Peace be upon you whenever you genuflect and
prostrate (yourself for Allah).

‫ﱪ‬ ِّ ‫َﻠِّ ُﻞ َو ُﺗ َﻜ‬ُ ‫ﻚ ِﺣﲔ‬

َ ‫ﻴ‬َ ‫ﻠ‬َ + ‫م‬َ ‫ﻼ‬ ‫ﻟﺴ‬
َ ّ َ ‫ا‬

alssalamu `alayka hina tuhallilu wa tukabbiru
Peace be upon you whenever you profess Allah’s
Godhead and profess His All-greatness.

‫ﲔ َﲢْ َﻤ ُﺪ َوﺗَ ْﺴﺘَﻐ ْ ِﻔ ُﺮ‬ ِ ‫ﻚ‬

َ َ ْ ‫َﻠَﻴ‬+ ‫ﻟﺴﻼ َ ُم‬
‫ﺣ‬ َّ َ ‫ا‬
alssalamu `alayka hin tahmadu wa tastagh6ru
Peace be upon you whenever you praise Allah and
implore for His forgiveness.

‫ﲔ ُﺗ ْﺼﺒِ ُﺢ َو ُﲤ ْ ِﺴﻲ‬
َ
ِ ‫ﻚ‬
‫ﺣ‬ َ ‫ﻴ‬َ ‫ﻠ‬
ْ ُ َّ + ‫م‬َ ‫ﻼ‬ ‫ﻟﺴ‬
َ َ ‫ا‬
alssalamu `alayka hina tusbihu wa tumsi
Peace be upon you whenever you begin and end
your day.

َٰ ْ ‫ﻚ ِﰲ ٱﻟﻠَّﻴ ْ ِﻞ إِذَا ﻳَﻐ‬

• َ ْ ‫َﻠَﻴ‬+ ‫ﻟﺴﻼ َ ُم‬
َّ َ ‫ا‬
alssalamu `alayka 6 allayli idha yaghsha
Peace be upon you in the night when it draws a veil

َّ َ‫وٱﻟﻨَّﻬَﺎ ِر إِذَا َﲡ‬

walnnahari idha tajalla

and the day when it shines in brightness.

‫ﻮن‬‫ﻣ‬ ْ ‫ﻚ أَﻳُﻬﺎ ٱﻹِﻣﺎم ٱ ْﳌﺄ‬

َ ‫ﻴ‬َ ‫ﻠ‬ + ‫م‬َ ‫ﻼ‬ ‫ﻟﺴ‬
َ َ ‫ا‬

ُ َ ُ َ َ ّ ْ ُ َّ
alssalamu `alayka ayyuha al-imamu alma'munu
Peace be upon you, O entrusted leader.

‫ﻮل‬‫ﻣ‬ْ ‫ﻚ أَﻳُﻬﺎ ٱ ْﳌﻘَ ّﺪَم ٱ ْﳌﺄ‬

ُ ُ َ ُ ُ َ ّ َ ْ ‫َﻠَﻴ‬+ ‫ﻟﺴﻼ َ ُم‬َّ َ ‫ا‬
alssalamu `alayka ayyuha almuqaddamu
alma'mulu
Peace be upon you, O favored and expected.

‫ٱﻟﺴﻼ َ ِم‬ ‫ﻣ‬ِ

َّ ِ َ َ ‫ﻚ‬
‫ﻊ‬ ‫ا‬‫ﻮ‬‫ﲜ‬ِ َ ْ ‫َﻠَﻴ‬+ ‫ﻟﺴﻼ َ ُم‬
َّ َ ‫ا‬
alssalamu `alayka bijawami`i alssalami
Peace be upon you to the ultimate meaning of
peace.

َ ‫أُ ْﺷ ِﻬ ُﺪ‬
‫ك ﻳَﺎ َﻣ ْﻮﻻ َ َي‬
ushhiduka ya mawlaya
I solicit you, O my master,

َُ ّ َّ‫أ َ ِّﱐ أ َ ْﺷﻬَ ُﺪ أ َ ْن ﻻ َ إِﻟ ٰ َﻪ إِﻻ‬

8‫ٱ‬
anni ashhadu an la ilaha illa allahu
to testify to me that I bear witness that there is no
god but Allah;

َ ‫َو ْﺣ َﺪ ُه ﻻ َ َﺷ ِﺮ‬
‫ﻳﻚ ﻟ َ ُﻪ‬
wahdahu la sharika lahu
One and Only Lord and having no associate,

‫َوأ َ َّن ُﳏ َ َّﻤﺪا ً ﻋَﺒ ْ ُﺪ ُه َو َر ُﺳﻮﻟ ُ ُﻪ‬

wa anna muhammadan `abduhu wa rasuluhu
and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.

‫ﻴﺐ إِﻻَّ ُﻫ َﻮ َوأ َ ْﻫﻠ ُ ُﻪ‬

َ ِ
ä ‫ﺣ‬
َ َ ‫ﻻ‬
la habiba illa huwa wa ahluhu
There is no one more beloved by Allah than him and
his household.

َ ‫َوأُ ْﺷ ِﻬ ُﺪ‬
‫ك ﻳَﺎ َﻣ ْﻮﻻ َ َي‬
wa ushhiduka ya mawlaya
And I solicit you, O my master, to testify to me that
I bear witness

‫ﲔ ُﺣ َّﺠﺘُ ُﻪ‬ ِ ‫َﻠِﻴﺎ ًأ َ ِﻣﲑ ٱ ْﳌُ ْﺆ ِﻣ‬+ ‫أ َ َّن‬

‫ﻨ‬
َ َ ّ
anna `aliyyan amira almu'minina hujjatuhu
that `Ali the Commander of the Faithful is His
argument,

‫َوٱ ْﳊ َ َﺴ َﻦ ُﺣ َّﺠﺘُ ُﻪ‬

walhasana hujjatuhu
al-Hasan is His argument,

‫ﲔ ُﺣ َّﺠﺘُ ُﻪ‬
َ ْ ‫َوٱ ْﳊ ُ َﺴ‬
walhusayna hujjatuhu
al-Husayn is His argument,

ِ ْ ‫َﻠِ َّﻲ ﺑْ َﻦ ٱ ْﳊ ُ َﺴ‬+‫َو‬

‫ﲔ ُﺣ َّﺠﺘُ ُﻪ‬
wa `aliyya bna alhusayni hujjatuhu
`Ali the son of al-Husayn is His argument,

‫َﻠِ ٍّﻲ ُﺣ َّﺠﺘُ ُﻪ‬+ ‫َو ُﳏ َ َّﻤ َﺪ ﺑْ َﻦ‬

wa muhammada bna `aliyyin hujjatuhu
Muhammad the son of `Ali is His argument,

‫َو َﺟﻌْ َﻔ َﺮ ﺑْ َﻦ ُﳏ َ َّﻤ ٍﺪ ُﺣ َّﺠﺘُ ُﻪ‬

wa ja`fara bna muhammadin hujjatuhu
Ja`far the son of Muhammad is His argument,

‫ٰ ﺑْ َﻦ َﺟﻌْ َﻔ ٍﺮ ُﺣ َّﺠﺘُ ُﻪ‬èَ ‫َوﻣ ُﻮ‬

wa musa bna ja`farin hujjatuhu
Musa the son of Ja`far is His argument,

‫ٰ ُﺣ َّﺠﺘُ ُﻪ‬è‫ﻮ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﺑ‬ ِ ‫ﻠ‬ +

َ ُ َ َّ ‫َو‬
‫ﻦ‬ْ ‫ﻲ‬
wa `aliyya bna musa hujjatuhu
َ
`Ali the son of Musa is His argument,

‫َﻠِ ٍّﻲ ُﺣ َّﺠﺘُ ُﻪ‬+ ‫َو ُﳏ َ َّﻤ َﺪ ﺑْ َﻦ‬

wa muhammada bna `aliyyin hujjatuhu
Muhammad the son of `Ali is His argument,

‫َﻠِ َّﻲ ﺑْ َﻦ ُﳏ َ َّﻤ ٍﺪ ُﺣ َّﺠﺘُ ُﻪ‬+‫َو‬

wa `aliyya bna muhammadin hujjatuhu
`Ali the son of Muhammad is His argument,

‫َﻠِ ٍّﻲ ُﺣ َّﺠﺘُ ُﻪ‬+ ‫َوٱ ْﳊ َ َﺴ َﻦ ﺑْ َﻦ‬

walhasana bna `aliyyin hujjatuhu
and al-Hasan the son of `Ali is His argument.

ِ َ ‫ﻚ ﺣ َّﺠ ُﺔ‬
8‫ٱ‬ َ َ ّ ‫ﻧ‬َ ‫وأ َ ْﺷﻬَ ُﺪ أ‬
ّ ُ
wa ashhadu annaka hujjatu allahi
َ
I also bear witness that you are verily the argument
of Allah.

‫أَﻧْﺘُ ُﻢ ٱﻷ َ َّو ُل َوٱﻵ ِﺧ ُﺮ‬

antum al-awwalu wal-akhiru
You all are the first and the last.

‫ﺐ ﻓِﻴﻬَﺎ‬ ‫ﻳ‬‫ر‬ َ ‫ﻻ‬ ‫ﻖ‬

ٌ ‫ﺣ‬
َْ َ ّ َ ْ َ َ ْ َ ّ ‫َوأ‬
‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﻜ‬
ُ ‫ﺘ‬ ‫ﻌ‬‫ﺟ‬‫ر‬ ‫ن‬
َ َ
wa anna raj`atakum haqqun la rayba 6ha
And (I bear witness) that your (promised) Return is
undoubtedly true

‫َﺎ‬‫ِﻳـﻤ ُﺎ‬
َ ‫إ‬ ً ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﺴ‬ ‫ﻔ‬
ْ َ ‫ﻧ‬ ‫ﻊ‬
ُ ‫ﻔ‬
َ ْ ‫ﻨ‬َ ‫ﻳ‬ َ ‫ﻻ‬ ‫م‬‫ﻮ‬
َْ َ ‫ﻳ‬
yawma la yanfa`u nafsan imanuha
“On the day when its belief avails not a soul

‫آﻣﻨ َ ْﺖ ِﻣ ْﻦ ﻗَﺒ ْ ُﻞ‬

َ ‫ﻦ‬
ْ ‫ﻜ‬
ُ َ ‫ﺗ‬ ‫ﻢ‬
ْ َ ‫ﻟ‬
lam takun amanat min qablu
which theretofore believed not,

ً ‫َﺎ َﺧ ْﲑا‬‫ِﻳـﻤ ِﺎ‬

َ ‫إ‬ ‫ﰲ‬ِ ‫ﺖ‬
ْ ‫ﺒ‬‫ﺴ‬ ‫ﻛ‬
َ
ََ ْ ‫و‬َ ‫أ‬
aw kasabat 6 imaniha khayran
nor in its belief earned good by works,”

‫َوأ َ َّن ٱ ْﳌ َ ْﻮ َت َﺣ ٌّﻖ‬

wa anna almawta haqqun
death is true,

‫َوأ َ َّن ﻧَﺎ ِﻛﺮا ً َوﻧَﻜﲑا ً َﺣ ٌّﻖ‬

wa anna nakiran wa nakiran haqqun
and Nakir and Nakir are true.

‫َوأ َ ْﺷﻬَ ُﺪ أ َ َّن ٱﻟﻨَّ ْﺸ َﺮ َﺣ ٌّﻖ‬

wa ashhadu anna alnnashra haqqun
And I bear witness that the Raising for death is
true,

‫ﺚ َﺣ ٌّﻖ‬
َ َ‫َوٱﻟْﺒَﻌ‬
walba`tha haqqun
the Resurrection is true,

ِ ّ ‫وأ َ َن ٱ‬
‫ﻟﺼ َﺮ َاط َﺣ ٌّﻖ‬
wa anna alssirata haqqun
ّ َ
the Discriminating Bridge is true,

‫َوٱ ْﳌ ِ ْﺮ َﺻﺎدَ َﺣ ٌّﻖ‬

walmirsada haqqun
the Watchtower is true,

‫ان َﺣ ٌّﻖ‬ ‫ﻴ‬ِ ‫ﳌ‬

ْ
َ ‫َوٱ‬
‫ﺰ‬َ
walmizana haqqun
the Balance (of deeds) is true,

‫َوٱ ْﳊ َ ْﺸ َﺮ َﺣ ٌّﻖ‬
walhashra haqqun
the Gathering is true,

‫ﺎب َﺣ ٌّﻖ‬ ِ
َ َ ‫َوٱ ْﳊ‬
‫ﺴ‬
walhisaba haqqun
the Reckoning is true,

‫ﺎر َﺣ ٌّﻖ‬
ََ ّ‫َوٱ ْﳉَﻨَّﺔَ َوٱﻟﻨ‬
waljannata walnnara haqqun
Paradise and Hell are true,

َ ‫ْ َﺪ َوٱﻟ ْ َﻮ ِﻋ‬+‫َوٱﻟ ْ َﻮ‬

‫ﻴﺪ ﺑِ ِﻬ َﻤﺎ َﺣ ٌّﻖ‬
walwa`da walwa`ida bihima haqqun
and the promise of Paradise and the threat with
Hell are true.

‫ﻳَﺎ َﻣ ْﻮﻻ َ َي َﺷﻘِ َﻲ َﻣ ْﻦ َﺧﺎﻟ َ َﻔ ُﻜ ْﻢ‬

ya mawlaya shaqiya man khalafakum
O My master! Certainly wretched is he who opposes
you

‫َو َﺳﻌِ َﺪ َﻣ ْﻦ أ َ َﻃﺎﻋَ ُﻜ ْﻢ‬

wa sa`ida man ata`akum
and certainly happy is he who obeys you.

‫َﻠَﻴ ْ ِﻪ‬+ ‫ﻚ‬ ‫ﺪ‬ ‫ﻬ‬ ‫ﺷ‬

َ ُ ْ َ ‫ َ َ* ٰ َﻣﺎ أ‬+ ‫ﻓَﭑ ْﺷﻬَ ْﺪ‬
‫ﺗ‬
fashhad `ala ma ashhadtuka `alayhi
So, testify to me all that which I have besought you
to testify.

ََ ‫َوأَﻧَﺎ َو ِﱄٌّ ﻟ‬
‫ﻚ‬
wa ana waliyyun laka
I am verily an ally of you

‫ك‬ ِ ‫ﻣ‬ِ
َ ّ ُ َ ْ ‫يء‬
‫و‬ ‫ﺪ‬ + ‫ﻦ‬ ِ
‫ﺮ‬ َ ‫ﺑ‬
ٌ
bari'un min `aduwwika
and denouncing your enemy.

‫ﻮه‬ ‫ﺘ‬d ِ

falhaqqu ma raditumuhu
The truth is only that which you accept,

ُ ُ ُ ‫ﺘ‬ ‫ﻄ‬
ْ ‫ﺨ‬
َ ‫ﺳ‬َ ‫أ‬ ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻞ‬

ْ َ ‫َوٱﻟْﺒَﺎ‬
‫ﻃ‬
walbatilu ma askhattumuhu
the wrong is only that which you disallow,

‫وف َﻣﺎ أ َ َﻣ ْﺮ ُﺗ ْﻢ ﺑِ ِﻪ‬ ‫ﺮ‬ْ ‫ﻌ‬‫ﳌ‬ْ

ُ ُ َ ‫َوٱ‬
walma`rufu ma amartum bihi
the good is only that which you enjoin,

‫ْﺘُ ْﻢ ﻋَﻨْ ُﻪ‬dََ ‫َوٱ ْﳌُﻨْﻜ َُﺮ َﻣﺎ‬

walmunkaru ma nahaytum `anhu
and the evil is only that which you forbid.

ِ َ ِ‫ﻓَﻨ َ ْﻔ ِﺴﻲ ﻣ ْﺆ ِﻣﻨ َ ٌﺔ ﺑ‬

fanafsi mu'minatun billahi
My soul is thus believing in Allah;

َ ‫َو ْﺣ َﺪ ُه ﻻ َ َﺷ‬
‫ﺮﻳﻚ ﻟ َ ُﻪ‬
wahdahu la sharika lahu
One and Only Lord and having no associate,

‫ﲔ‬ ِ ‫ﲑ ٱ ْﳌُ ْﺆ ِﻣ‬

‫ﻨ‬ ِ ِ َ ‫وﺑِ َﺮﺳﻮﻟ ِ ِﻪ وﺑِﺄ‬
‫ﻣ‬
َ َ ُ َ
wa birasulihi wa bi'amiri almu'minina
and also in His Messenger, in the Commander of the
Faithful,

‫َوﺑِ ُﻜ ْﻢ ﻳَﺎ َﻣ ْﻮﻻ َ َي أ َ َّوﻟ ِ ُﻜ ْﻢ َوآ ِﺧ ِﺮ ُﻛ ْﻢ‬

wa bikum ya mawlaya awwalikum wa akhirikum
and in you all, O my master, from the beginning to
the end.

‫َوﻧ ُ ْﺼ َﺮ ِﰐ ُﻣﻌَ َّﺪ ٌة ﻟ َ ُﻜ ْﻢ‬

wa nusrati mu`addatun lakum
I have prepared myself to back you

‫َو َﻣ َﻮ َّد ِﰐ َﺧﺎﻟ ِ َﺼ ٌﺔ ﻟ َ ُﻜ ْﻢ‬

wa mawaddati khalisatun lakum
and my love is sincerely dedicated to you.
