    Hi there, future business leaders!

    We're thrilled to have you on board for Boardroom 2024, hosted by E-Cell IIT Madras! Your
    registration marks your first step towards honing your critical thinking, fostering business
    leadership, and unleashing your creativity in a competitive and immersive experience.

    Boardroom isn't just about winning (though, let's be real, that's pretty cool too ). It's about
    giving you a platform to step into the shoes of board members, tackle real-world business
    challenges, and develop the entrepreneurial skills and perspectives needed to thrive in the
    corporate world.

    The competition unfolds in two phases: Round 1 (online) and Round 2 (offline at IIT
    Madras). Get ready to tackle two stimulating problem statements and showcase your
    problem-solving skills and earn a spot in the finals. We can't wait to see you bring your A-

    INSTRUCTIONS

    Create a PPT discussing the problems and solutions to the given problem statements. You’re
    allowed to have a maximum of two slides per problem statement in the presentation.
    You will be evaluated on your creativity, feasibility, and critical thinking skills.
    Use of Chat GPT is strictly not allowed. If participants are found to be using Chat GPT, they will
    be penalised.

    You are the CMO of a coaching institute which has
    multiple branches in different cities of India, but around
    mid-February your top institute teachers resigned from
    the most prominent branch of your company and joined
    another coaching institute in the same city. Students
    have their examination in April and the new batches
    PROBLEM would start by then.

    STATEMENT 1 What possible problems will you be facing?

    The booming online fashion market poses a unique
    problem for customers – they can't physically assess the
    quality and texture of clothes. A tech company has
    developed a USB-connected device that simulates
    textures, and proposes a partnership with a growing e-
    commerce platform to reach a wider audience. However,
    PROBLEM both companies face challenges in achieving their goals.

    STATEMENT 2
    As a CEO, CMO and CFO, identify the problems which both
    the companies will encounter and discuss how you will
    resolve these issues.
