Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Reporting to: Supply Chain Manager

Description

Responsible for coordinating and supervising all distribution activities in a manner that is
consistent with company service and cost objectives.

Responsibilities

• Ascertains that product is picked, checked, and shipped according to established


best practice standards and in accordance with current procedures and safety
measures
• Provide daily leadership and hands-on support for the department
• Ensures warehouse associates have the appropriate training, equipment, and
tools necessary to perform their jobs.
• Guarantees the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment.
• Must maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Understand our KPI Goals and assign/delegate tasks in a manner that supports
logistics team to achieve positive KPI results.
• Identify areas that require policies and procedures, create new policies and
procedures, and/or modify existing policies and procedures to more accurately
reflect the change and continuous improvements in operations.
• Completes necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Conducts daily line meetings with crew members to discuss results of data
analysis and corrective actions to be implemented.
• Participates in operations development and problem-solving meetings as
requested.
• Maintains confidentiality in all areas.
• Supports and enforces recommendations from management.
• Must be able to communicate respectfully and effectively with all levels of
employees.
• Ability to assist in fostering and driving a team-based environment.
• Performs tasks involving inventory checks, inspection, sorting and disposition of
damage goods ensuring proper inventory management.
• May perform work of crew members as needed.
• Participate in annual physical inventory process.
• Other duties as assigned.
Warehouse Supervisor

Qualification Requirements

• Pervious warehouse experience 3-5 years.


• Supervisory Experience 1- 2 years
• Flexible working hours (if required) to help or transfer to other shifts (including
overtime or weekends if necessary)
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems

Essential Skills

• Must be able to work independently with little supervision while maintaining


excellent communication skills with all associates
• Team player, detail oriented, efficient, and well organized
