Words From Words
Directions: Write each spelling word. Then make up a new word using the
letters in each spelling word. Use as many letters from each spelling word as you can to
make a new word.
Rhyming Writing
Directions: Write each spelling word. Next to each word, write a word that rhymes with it.
Fancy Nancy
Directions: Write your spelling words in your best cursive handwriting.
Flash Cards!
Directions: Make a flashcard for each of your spelling words. Cut them out. Have
an adult give you a quiz using the flashcards. Practice spelling your words out loud.
Antonym Ants

Directions: Write your spelling word on one ant and an antonym for the word on the other ant.

Practice Test
Directions: Have an adult give you Practice Test #1 using your spelling words. Write any words
you miss 10 times each. If you need to try again, fold your paper and use Practice Test #2.
