Operators (DAs/ WEDPSs of Aadhaar Enrolled Secretariats) shall
conduct Aadhaar Special camp in Secretariats & other Secretariats on
22nd , 23rd ,24th & 25th August 2023 –Certain Instructions to MPDOs/
Municipal Commissioners – Issued-Regarding.

It is to inform that Aadhaar has emerged as the most widely accepted


proof of identity with a provision to identify residents with biometric
authentication. Aadhaar is now being used to avail numerous Government
services by residents. In order to avail these services, the residents should
update their document details with the UIDAI. Accordingly Aadhaar has
developed new feature / Service, “update document”

As per the UIDAI report around 1,49,44,643 Document updates are pending
in the State. To achieve 100% document updates, it is proposed to conduct
Aadhaar Special camp from Secretariats on 22nd, 23rd,24th & 25th August 2023.

It is further requested to publicize the Aadhaar Special Camp on 22nd,


23rd, 24th & 25th August Secretariats through I &PR, local cable networks and
volunteers and further requested to complete 100% pending Document Update
in Secretariats.
In this regard District Collectors are requested to issue necessary
following instructions to the MPDOs/ Municipal Commissioners for updating
maximum number of "document Update Service" during the camps and also
District collectors are requested to focus on completing pending Document
updates on daily basis.

1. The MPDO/ Municipal Commissioners shall map Secretariats for


conduct of Aadhaar Special camp during the Secretariats 22nd , 23rd ,24th
& 25th August and issue necessary instructions to the Aadhaar
Operators and PSs/ WASs.
2. They shall create necessary awareness among the public about the
Aadhaar Special camp.
3. The PS/ WAS of all the scheduled Secretariats along with the Aadhaar
Operators (DA/ WEDPS)shall ensure that all the Hardware Devices are in
working condition, and publicize such that there is maximum footfall for
the camp.
4. It is requested to mobilize citizens and ensure maximum document
updates in the scheduled Secretariat / Other Secretariat premises.
5. The MPDOs / Municipal Commissioners are requested to make
necessary In-Charge arrangements while Aadhaar Operators are deputed
for conduct of Mobile Camps and ensure not to effect delivery of services.
6. MPDOs/MCs shall allot 2 volunteers & 2 Secretariat staff to each
Aadhaar operator during the camp for assisting in fling and verifying the
documents.
7. District Collectors are requested to exempt the Digital Assistants
/WEDPs and other staff deputed for Aadhaar special camps from the
duties of BLO & other duties.
8. If any expenditure is incurred for the transportation of Hardware Devices
for the conduct of the Mobile Camp will provide an amount of Rs.500
given to the Aadhaar Operators (Digital Assistant/ WEDPS) by the
GVWV&VSWS Department. Who will do minimum 100
enrolments/Updates during the camp week.
