    Prayer of Supplication

    1. Isaiah 11:1-4 (NLT). Out of the stump of David’s family[a] will grow a shoot— yes, a new Branch bearing
    fruit from the old root. 2 And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and
    understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. 3 He will
    delight in obeying the Lord. He will not judge by appearance nor make a decision based on
    hearsay. 4 He will give justice to the poor and make fair decisions for the exploited. The earth will shake at
    the force of his word, and one breath from his mouth will destroy the wicked.

     Let us pray that in the year 2024, we will be led by the Spirit, ruled, energised,
    controlled, directed by the Spirit
     As a result, the Spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel and might will be upon us
     Let us pray that we will be completely surrendered and yielded, so that the Spirit of
    God will take over,
     We will not be led by sight or by what the world says
     There shall be no room for the flesh but be led completely by the Spirit
     We will not panic when confronted with situations
     The Spirit shall equip us will all we need to do His will
     No matter what happens in 2024, we will know you are in charge because our lives
    are hid in thee, under the shadow of the almighty.
     Psalms 5:8 - Yahweh, lead me in the pathways of your pleasure just like you
    promised me you would, or else my enemies will conquer me. Smooth out your road
    in front of me, straight and level, so that I will know where to walk

    2. Hebrew 13:1 - Continue to love each other with true brotherly love) (TLB)
    No matter what, make room in your heart to love every believer (TPT)
    LET LOVE for your fellow believers continue and be a fixed practice with you [never let it fail] (AMPC)
     Holding Forth is a family church known for brother love. It is a banner we wear with full pride
     Pray corporately and individually that in 2024, the love for the brethren will no wax cold
     Rom 5:5 - The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
     It is only when we share the love of God, that we can experience the endless love of God cascading
    into our hearts
     We shall love with new vigour in 2024. As brethren, we shall seek each other out, we shall look out
    for each other with love and care
     Our love for one another will draw mend and women to God
     In 2024, our love for God and brethren will wax strong.
     Together we shall celebrate our victories and share in our pains
     Nothing shall separate us from the love of God.
     He that loveth not, knoweth not God (1 John 4:8)
     By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another (John 13:5)
