NEET PG Syllabus

Candidates who wish to pursue postgraduate medical courses (MD/MS/PG Diploma) in

government or private medical colleges of India must prepare thoroughly for the NEET PG
exam. And the first step of preparing for any exam is knowing the exam syllabus.

The NEET-PG syllabus covers all the topics taught during the MBBS course and is divided into
preclinical, para-clinical, and clinical subjects. The division of the same is as follows-

NEET PG Subject Division

Pre-clinical Subjects Para-Clinical Subjects Clinical Subjects

Medicine, Dermatology and

Anatomy Pharmacology
Venereology

Physiology Microbiology Surgery, Orthopaedics and Anaesthesia

Biochemistry Pathology Radiodiagnosis

Forensic Medicine Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Social and Preventive

Paediatrics
Medicine

Ophthalmology

ENT

Psychiatry

Each section of the NEET-PG syllabus contains a number of topics, which are further divided
into subtopics. Candidates must have a clear understanding of the entire syllabus in order to
prepare effectively for the examination.
