HR Interview Questions

(1) What is your short term goal?

My short term goal is to get a job which suits my skills and interests. As an entry level
candidate my primary goal is to gain skills, knowledge and learn new things which is going to
help me to set my career.

(2) What is your long term goal?

My long term goal is, I want to see myself taking bigger responsibilities, bigger roles, which
improves my confidence in management and decision making skills. I really want to reach
the most responsible position that I can achieve, that’s what I am looking for.

(3) What is your strength?

My strength is that I am a team player. It is a skill that I have developed from my school days
itself. I always enjoy working in teams. I was the team leader for our final year engineering
project, we were a group of four and I have been often told by my team members that I am
the motivator of the group during difficult situations. I was also in-charge of the inter college
fest conducted at our campus. I could manage our team really well and as a result of our
team work, the event was a big success.

(4) What do you know about this company?

One Team Solutions EdTech Pvt Ltd is one of the best Software Training Institutes in Kerala.
The company offers job oriented hands-on training on Python, Digital Marketing, Mean Stack,
Software Testing etc. The main office is located at Kochi and also has branches at
Trivandrum and Calicut. People feel proud to be part of the company as the company
provides full support to the employees to develop themselves

(5) Why do you want to work with this company?

It will be a privilege for me, if I can start my career with a reputed firm like yours. I believe,
the kind of atmosphere you have here, will help me to achieve more than what I am aiming
for. This is one of the biggest reasons for me to work here.

(6) Are you willing to relocate or travel as part of your job?

Yes, definitely. It will be a great opportunity for me to work in a new environment, interact
with new people and explore new places and culture.

(7) How long will you stay with this company?

As long as the company needs me. I would be happy to work here for a long time if I am
offered this job. As I said before, this company has everything that an entry-level candidate
like me is looking for. It provides all the opportunities for professional and personal
development, and the company environment is just what I am looking for.
(8) Why do you want to work as a Python Developer?

When I saw this job posting, it seemed to match my skills very closely. I saw on the job
description that you need somebody who’s an expert in programming and has logical
abilities. I have the right skill set that would make me a great fit for this job role. Along with
my logical abilities, I am proficient in HTML, JavaScript, Angular, Python, Django etc. So I’d
be excited to come here and grow my skills with an organisation like yours.

(9) What is your dream job?

Based on my skills and interests, my dream job is to become a Python Developer. I’m
interested in work that involves programming skills and logical abilities. I would like to learn
all the nitty-gritties of being a developer and raise my career with this role. I’m excited to see
that they seem to be equally important to this company.

(10) Can you explain why you changed career paths?

I realised that my previous career was not fulfilling me and I wanted to explore something
new. Through research and networking, I discovered a career path in programming that
aligned better with my interests, skills, and logical abilities. I also took the time to develop
new skills and gain experience in this field, which gave me the confidence to make the
switch.

(11) How do you deal with pressure or stressful situations?

When there are a lot of assignments to work on in order to meet the deadlines, that helps me
to stay motivated and do well. Although multiple assignments can be quite stressful at times,
I am good at balancing things. Once upon a time in my college, I had my semester exams
aligned with my final year project. But I broke down in a scheduled manner and did well in
both. Thus, I avoided unwanted stress.

(12) What other companies are you interviewing with?

I do have a couple of interviews coming up soon for Python Developer positions. But I can
tell you that this position has exactly the kinds of skills that I’m looking for in my job. I’ve
applied to a number of opportunities that will allow me to use my programming skills and
logical abilities. But I can tell you that this position has exactly the kinds of challenges I’m
looking for in my job role.
