    *These are Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Posts - as informed by the DG SPF vide letter No.
    A2/TSPF/32/SCTS1s/2022 dated 29-04-2022 quoting GO Ms No.135 Home (Legal-II) Department dated 14-06-
    2013. This clarification is inserted on 30th April 2022.

    Eligibility Conditions:
    A. Age Limit (General)
    i) For the Post Code Nos. 21 to 26:
    a) Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age
    of 22 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., must have been born not earlier than
    2nd July, 2000 and not later than 1st July, 2004.

    b) For Home Guards, a Person who, as on the date of Notification, has been
    on duty as Home Guard for a minimum duration of 360 days within a
    period of 2 (two) years and who is still continuing his / her service as
    Home Guard, must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have
    attained the age of 40 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., must have been born
    not earlier than 2nd July, 1982 and not later than 1st July, 2004.
    ii) For the Post Code Nos. 27 & 28: Must have attained the age of 18 years and
    must not have attained the age of 22 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., must have
    been born not earlier than 2nd July, 2000 and not later than 1st July, 2004.
    iii) For the Post Code Nos. 21, 22 & 28 (For Women Candidates): In the case
    of a Widow, a Divorced Woman or a Woman judicially separated from her
    husband and who is not remarried,

    a) SC & ST Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years and must not
    have attained the age of 40 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., she must have
    been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1982 and not later than 1st July, 2004.
    b) In all other cases (other than SC & ST), the Candidate must have attained
    the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 35 years as on
    1st July, 2022 i.e., she must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1987
    and not later than 1st July, 2004.
    However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 48, General
    Administration (Services-A) Department dated 13-04-2022 have raised the upper
    age limit prescribed for appointment by direct recruitment by 3 (three) years for
    uniformed services including Police Department. This relaxation is in addition to
    the upper age limit as mentioned above.
    The details of upper age limit as applicable will be shown in the detailed Notification.

    B. Minimum Educational Qualification: Must have passed Intermediate or its


    equivalent examination recognized by the State Government as on 1st July 2022.

    Note: Candidates who possess higher qualification than the prescribed one will also
    be considered on par with the Candidates who possess the prescribed qualification.

    Fee: OC and BC Candidates with local status of Telangana State applying for the Posts of SCT
    PCs (Civil / AR / SAR CPL / TSSP), Constable in SPF, Firemen in TS Disaster Response &
    Fire Services Department and Warder (Male) / Warder (Female) in Prisons & Correctional
    Services Department have to pay a fee of Rs.800/- towards Registration of the Application,
    Processing of Application, Conduct of Tests and Examinations, Maintenance of Portal etc. SC
    and ST Candidates who are Local to Telangana State have to however, pay only Rs.400/-
    towards the same. All other Candidates will have to pay Rs.800/-. Fee may be paid through
    Payment Gateway (Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking).

    Procedure: Desirous and eligible Candidates may apply ON-LINE in the prescribed proforma
    which will be made available on Website (www.tslprb.in) from 2nd May 2022 to 20th May
    2022 for recruitment to the above Postsonly after satisfying themselves of the eligibility
    requirements as given in the Notifications. Detailed information regarding Syllabi, Procedure
    for Online Application, distribution of vacancies, selection procedure, instructions to the
    candidate etc., is given in the Notification made available in the website www.tslprb.in.

    Note: Candidates have to fulfil the eligibility criteria laid down in the relevant GOs issued
    by the Government from time to time
