EIL participates in India Energy Week 2024

EIL arrived with heightened visibility at the second edition of India Energy Week, India’s largest
energy conference and exhibition, held under the patronage of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural
Gas and supported by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI), at IPSHEM-ONGC
Training Institute, Goa from February 6-9, 2024.

Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi inaugurating India Energy Week 2024

This year, EIL elicited a stronger response at IEW 2024 by hosting three pavilions, the EIL
pavilion and two thematic pavilions of Make In India and Petrochemical. The EIL pavilion
showcased the company’s capabilities, track record and competencies across the hydrocarbon
value chain and allied sectors. The Make In India pavilion hosted 47 manufacturers representing
static equipment, rotating machinery, electrical & instrumentation items, piping items, line pipes
etc. The Petrochemical Pavilion hosted 16 partners showcasing domestic as well as global
capabilities for designing, detailed engineering, manufacturing and supply of engineering products
in the Petchem space.

India Energy Week 2024 was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra
Modi in the august presence of the Hon’ble Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Housing &
Urban Affairs, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Hon’ble Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas
and Labour & Employment, Shri Rameswar Teli, Hon’ble Governor of Goa, Shri PS Sreedharan
Pillai and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa, Shri Pramod Sawant.
Building on the success of the 2023 edition, IEW 2024 welcomed over 35,000 attendees, 350
exhibitors, 400 speakers and 4,000 delegates from over 100 countries to collaborate, discover new
opportunities and strengthen partnerships in the global energy space.

 The Hon’ble Prime Minister also inaugurated the ONGC Sea Survival Centre at IPSHEM, a
pioneering Integrated Sea Survival Training Centre, executed by EIL, designed to elevate India’s
sea survival training standards to global levels, on the sidelines of IEW 24.
