Course Objectives:
 Understanding of the nuances of the social world as well as different perspectives on relations between individual and society.
 Understanding Social influencers and ways of responses in particular social situations. (Role of media/ peer pressure/ political
groups)
 Getting deeper knowledge of applied Social Psychology.
 Fostering respect for human diversity, particularly to the matters related to gender, race and ethnicity.
 Inculcating sensitivity to issues related to Youth, Gender and Identity within the socio-cultural context.)

Pre-requisites: Understanding of core values - Individual and family wellness, Sense of belongingness, Respect for human diversity,
Social justice etc.
