Course Objectives:
Understanding of the nuances of the social world as well as different perspectives on relations between individual and society.
Understanding Social influencers and ways of responses in particular social situations. (Role of media/ peer pressure/ political
groups)
Getting deeper knowledge of applied Social Psychology.
Fostering respect for human diversity, particularly to the matters related to gender, race and ethnicity.
Inculcating sensitivity to issues related to Youth, Gender and Identity within the socio-cultural context.)
Pre-requisites: Understanding of core values - Individual and family wellness, Sense of belongingness, Respect for human diversity,
Social justice etc.
