REMEDIES

PUNARVASU

• Gives similar results of conjunction of Jupiter and Mercury.


• Give green moong lentils and a green saree to a Brahmin.
• If it falls in Cancer then give milk to a female cat.
• To get the blessings of Punarvasu Nakshatra water the roots of Babool (Gum Arabic tree) and take
parikrama or go spherical around the tree.
• It is also good to worship and honor the following trees / plants: Velu, Venu Vruksha and Bamboo.
PUNARVASU

• Nakshatra deities to worship: Aditi, Mother of the Solar Deities. Worshiping Aditi (wife of sage Kashyap, mother of Gods)
when Moon transits Punarvasu nakshatra gives protection. Also worship any goddess figure like Lakshmi, Durga or
Saraswathi.
• Wear light yellow coloured clothes and keep a fast on a Thursday.
• Avoid meat, liquor and respect elders.
• Chant the root mantra “Om” or “Aum” 108 times during the lunar transition of this nakshatra to alleviate afflictions.
• Wearing a 5 Mukhi Rudraksha (power of Rudra Kalagni) is recommended for avert
• Akala Mrityu (untimely death). It removes the blockages from the Vishuddhi Chakra (Throat Chakra) and helps awaken it
thereby preventing respiratory disorders and supporting good functioning of the Thyroid Gland.
• Wearing colours like green, white and yellow is also recommended.

• Lakshmi Ganapathi is the 12th of Lord Ganesha’s 32 forms. In this form Lord Ganesh sits flanked by
his consorts Siddhi and Buddhi on both of the thighs. Goddess Siddhi is responsible for achievement
and Goddess Buddhi is responsible for wisdom. Lakshmi Ganapati appears with eight hands, the main
left hand posture Abhya Mudra bestows blessing to all the devotees. The other hands holds green
Parrot, a Pomegranate, a sword, a noose, elephant goad, sprig of Kalpavriksha (Wish fulfilling tree)
and water vessel (Kamandala). Both his consorts hold white lotus flowers and as the complexion of
the lords also white in color.

● Gives similar results of conjunction of Saturn and Moon


● Its symbol is a flower, so plant a flowering plant.
● Feed a donkey as they are very hardworking and loyal creatures.
● Donate red coloured clothes to people in need on a Saturday.
● To get the blessings of Pushya Nakshatra worship Peepal tree often and also take the parikrama or
take spherical round of this tree.
● It is also good to worship and honor the following trees / plants: Ashwatha Vruksha and Sacred Fig.

● Nakshatra deities to worship: Brihaspati, Guru of the Gods. Worshiping Brihaspati when Moon
transits Pushya nakshatra, is blessed with wisdom and cures speech defect.
● Pushya people should also worship the Mother Goddess.
● Chant Maha Mrityunjaya Japa 108 times when Moon transits Pushya.
● Chant the root mantra “Om Kam” 108 times during the lunar transition of this nakshatra during the
month of Pushya to alleviate afflictions.
● Wearing a 7 Mukhi Rudraksha (power of Mahalakshmi) is recommended as it bestows the
worshipper with secret wealth, prosperity and contentment. It removes the blockages from the
Anahata Chakra (Heart Chakra) and helps awaken it thereby attracting suitable partners and
creating harmony in relationships.
● Wearing golden, yellow, white and orange colours is also recommended.

MAHA GANAPATI

• Maha Ganapati is the 13th of the 32


forms of Lord Ganesha. Maha
literally means “the Great” and is
one among the most commonly
worshipped form of Lord Ganesh. In
this form Ganapathi is depicted with
three eyes and a crescent moon on
his head, like his father Lord Shiva.
The lord appears with ten hands and
is red in complexion and seen with
his consort seated on the left thigh.
On his hand holds his tusk, a
pomegranate, a sugarcane bow,
chakra (discuss), noose, a blue lily, a
sprig of paddy, a lotus, a mace and
ratnakumbha (pot containing gems).
REMEDIES

• Gives similar results of conjunction of Mercury and Moon.


• Give milk in Shiva Temple, you can keep there or do Shiva abhishek.
• Throw a little milk in to the sea.
• Feed milk to a male cat. Feed green fodder to cows on a Wednesday.
REMEDIES

• Nakshatra deities to worship: the Nagas, The Coiled Serpents. Ashlesha people should worship the Snake God by
performing serpent rituals like Sarpa Homa and Naga Panchami by feeding milk to snakes. Worshiping Nagas when Moon
transits ashlesha nakshatra will be free one from the fears of Nagas (snakes).
• It is also good to worship and honor the following trees / plants: Nag Champa, Beauty Leaf Tree and Alexandrian Laurel.
• Ashlesha can bring purity and positivity by learning to appreciate and cultivating a sense of gratitude to face reality and life
exactly as it comes to them, rather than as they would like it to be.
• Recite “Om Namah Shivaya” daily before commencement of any auspicious work.
• Chant the root mantra “Om Kham” and “Om Gam” 108 times during the lunar transition of this nakshatra to alleviate
afflictions.
• Wearing a 4 Mukhi Rudraksha (power of Brahma and Saraswati) is recommended for realising the four levels of
knowledge Jagrit (Waking State), Swapna (Dream State), Sushupti (Deep Sleep), Turiya (Super Conscious State) which
dispels ignorance and darkness. It removes the blockages from the Vishuddhi Chakra (Throat Chakra) and is helps
singers and public speakers.
• Wearing dark colours like red or black is also recommended.

VIJAYA GANAPATI

• Vijaya Ganapati is the 14th among the 32


forms of Lord Ganesha. In Vijaya Ganapathi
form the lord appear in a red hue with four
hands sitting on the Mooshika Vahana (Rat)
which depicted in proportionate size. On his
main right hand holds his favorite fruit golden
mango and the upper right hand the noose. On
the main left hand holds his tusk and upper left
hand an elephant goad. The word Vijaya
means “the Victorious”.
