    Biographical Sketch

    Dr. Mononita Kundu Das is working as Professor of Law at Xavier Law School, St Xavier’s
    University, Kolkata. She holds Ph.D. in Law from National Law University Jodhpur and LL.M. from
    University of North Bengal. She has received Ist class 2nd Medal in LL.M. from University of North
    Bengal.
    Dr.Das has a teaching experience of 20 years in Law at various National Level Institutions,
    noteworthy being, National Law University Jodhpur and Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of
    Administration, Mussoorie.
    Dr.Das has widely published in journals, book chapters and books both at National and
    International level. She has participated in several Conferences, Seminars and Workshops both in
    India and abroad. She has been invited as a Guest Speaker, panellist and Session Chair at
    Conferences and Seminars in India and USA.
    Dr.Das has completed Executive Education Course on Climate Change from London School of
    Economics, UK, completed course on Public Leadership Credential from Harvard Kennedy School
    of Government, USA. She has also, completed SWAYAM(Arpit)Online Refresher Course in Law
    from NALSAR and completed six Training of Trainer‘s Courses by Govt. of India.

    Dr.Mononita Kundu Das’s specialization includes Environmental Law, Public Policy, Leadership
    Skills and Training.
