Buried Treasure
Many people believe that buried treasure
is something found only in popular pirate
stories or that it’s a pot of gold hidden
beneath a tree on a far-away island.
However, this is not the case. It may
surprise you to learn that it is possible to
find real treasure. There have been many
amazing discoveries in Great Britain.
Today, experts are using new technology to try and track it down. They
think it might be somewhere between King’s Lynn and Lincoln, in case you
fancy trying to find it first!
Click on the Location tab at the top of the page to find potential treasure
sites across the UK. You can use it to check if there are any sites near you
– and whether they’ve been dug up yet.
