    Position: Chemical Engineer

    Industry: Manufacturing Biodiesel from Used Cooking Oil, Exports of UCO and
    otheralternate feedstocks – vegetable oils / waste products

    Employment Type: Permanent Job, Full Time

    Functional Area: Grease Trap Project

    Salary: As per the market standard

    Key Responsibilities:

     Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes in accordance with project


    deliverables and production schedules.

     Analyse and interpret data from various stages of product development to ensure
    quality and specifications are met.

     Collaborate with R&D and quality assurance teams to refine product formulations
    and pilot new projects.

     Implement safety procedures for handling dangerous chemicals and conduct risk
    assessments.

     Maintain compliance with environmental laws and regulations relating to chemical


    manufacturing.

     Continuously seek to improve process efficiency and reduce waste, contributing to


    the company's sustainability goals.

     Develop manufacturing processes that minimize waste and increase the quality of
    finished products

     Monitor and test processes and products found in all phases of production

     Develop and implement safety procedures for staff working with hazardous materials

     Design, plan and implement the layout of manufacturing equipment to optimize


    production and decrease costs

     Use computers to compile and analyse data

     Establish safety and waste management procedures

     Travel to work sites and locations to learn about project needs and design

     Assist with establishing budgets and timelines


    Requirements

     Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a related field; Master’s degree


    preferred.

     Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using chemical engineering software and
    tools.

     Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a


    multidisciplinary team.

     Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

     Commitment to achieving stringent health, safety, and environmental outcomes.
