    This circuit provides power for ECU operation and is also the power source for the sensor.

    DIAGNOSTICS − POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM

    INSPECTION PROCEDURE

    1 Check ECU−B2 fuse.

    NG Check for short in all the harness and compo-


    nents connected to the ECU−B2 fuse, and repair
    them .

    OK

    2 Check continuity between terminals SGND of Power Seat Control ECU connector
    and body ground.

    CHECK:
    Measure resistance between terminals SGND of Power Seat
    Control ECU connector and body ground.
    OK:
    Resistance: Continuity (below 1 W)

    SGND NG Repair or replace harness or connector.

    3 Check voltage between terminals SYSB of Power Seat Control ECU connector
    and body ground.

    CHECK:
    Measure voltage between terminals SYSB of Power Seat Con-
    trol ECU connector and body ground.
    OK:
    Voltage: 10 − 14 V

    SYSB OK Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on


    I25558
    problem symptom table (See page DI−786).

    NG

    Repair or replace harness or connector.
