TWO HEARTS
TWO HEARTS
TWO HEARTS
To reflect our missionary vocation today whose principal model is Jesus of Nazareth, it is important to
remember how our founders established our congregation and collaborated in the mission of Jesus,
working to establish His kingdom in our world.
Being missionary today as well as their time is to be sent by God bringing message of salvation that
liberates the people, nations and the world. Although we live in a different situation and time. Their life
is an illuminating testimony, once more we can hear or recall the reading from their writings, reliable and
direct testimonies from their experiences in the mission. And perhaps this time with the global crisis has
disrupted in many aspects of our lives, but it has not and cannot prevent us from communicating the
love of God to one another. It may actually be providing us the opportunity and the motivation to let
love abound all the more. What is the certain above all else in this time when so much uncertain is that
“nothing can separate us from God’s love” (Roman 8:38)
Therefore, as missionary let us be connected and reconnected more deeply with God, Mary and people
in our life amidst global crisis.
Mo. Ascencion Nicol, a woman whose life was a testament to unwavering faith, courage, and a
deep commitment to community, dared to leave behind the comforts of her land and embark
on a spiritual quest among native people. her journey, filled with both enthusiasm and hardship,
led her to embrace a human, communitarian, and fraternal spirit, connecting with others on a
deeper level and fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose. this spirit of compassion and
service resonated with Msrg. Ramon Zubieta, a missionary driven by a profound sense of
purpose and the conviction that "woe to me if I do not preach the gospel."
their paths crossed in a shared commitment to faith and service, leading to the founding of the
congregation in 1918. together, they envisioned a world where women and children in the
jungle were empowered through education, catechetics, and community development,
promoting justice and peace. their unwavering belief in the transformative power of the gospel
and the potential of female missionaries fueled their mission, filled with hope and optimism.
this vision was realized in the foundation of the Missionary Dominican Sisters of the Rosary,
dedicated to promoting education, justice and peace, youth ministry, family life and etc., all
within the context of their mission to proclaim the word of God in marginalized. Their legacy
continues to inspire generations, a testament to the power of faith, courage, and a shared
commitment to serving those in need.
SONG: MY HEART THANKSGIVING
INTENTIONS:
Let us bring our prayer to the God of our salvation, for all our hope rests in him who made heaven and
earth. As we say Lord hear our prayer.
For our general and provincial councils: that they bring Christ into the world with Joy,
strength, love and give example, and that they may continue to carry out the Charism of our
founders
For our mission: that our faith in Jesus Christ will enable us to view the world with God’s eyes
and heart.
• We pray for those who are discerning the call to religious life: that they may be guided by your
holy spirit, filled with courage, wisdom and open to the path you have chosen for them .
For those who are in formation: We ask for your blessing upon all who embrace the
consecrated life, that they may be faithful witnesses to your love and that their lives may bear
abundant fruit for your kingdom.
For our Elderly sisters and sick sisters in our congregation, may they find God’s presence
through those who care for them. May the lord comfort them in their time of need and bring
Joy and speed recovery
For the Church : that it may create a community where peace and harmony will flourish by the
power of God’s promise to see justice done to them.
As Mother of the Church, Mary was fully involved in the mission of Jesus to bring new sons
and daughters of God to birth in the Spirit and in faith. We ask her to pray for us as we say:
Hail Mary…
Concluding Prayer: God our Father, help us to renew our commitment to the mission of your son Jesus,
that by the power of the Holy Spirit our prayers and actions will bear witness to the grace of your
saving love, through the same Christ our Lord.
